I’m happy that you two like Vietnamese food everywhere you go . Enjoy your trip in VN . Thanks to visit my country , I wish more tourist come to VN which will help the economy and peoples . LOL
We would have loved to see Da Lat back then! And yes, we LOVE Vietnamese food. 😋 Everyone should visit Vietnam once in their life if they are able to. Such a magical place.
Watching your videos and others have confirmed that I was right when I suggested one of my sons, who is going to the culinary institute, to travel to Vietnam after he graduates. I told him to spend at least 6 months traveling around the country and focus on the street food because of its very diversified. His answer was “I’d go wherever you want me to go as long as you pay for it daddy!” 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Haha. Glad we could help inspire. Tbh, Southeast Asia’s street food culture is a great place to learn flavors and be inspired. Vietnam is amazing because like you mentioned, it’s very diverse, but also because it’s elegant in its simplicity. You can do so much with the same staple ingredients. Such a culinary powerhouse. We hope your son gets to enjoy the flavors of Vietnam!
Different foods, especially street vendors. That’s my favorite. I’m convinced, the next time I go to a new place, I’m gonna have to start with a food tour.

We would love to make it to the Mekong Delta! We had an amazing time up north on the Mekong in Laos, and seeing where it meets the ocean would feel so good! Perhaps we’ll be able to see it someday soon.
As a Canadian, I love me some flannel. That's insanely cheap as well! We never made it to Da Lat, but I remember seeing that Da Lat pizza in Hoi An when we were there. Looked good! That little poodle on the chair. So friggin' cute! 🐩
Hello Mike and Ashley, How did I miss your video for two …whole days? No clue. Seems like you two had a good time in Đà Lạt. Good for you. Wish I had the need for putting on a jacket because it has been extremely hot over here. Well, stay safe and healthy. Take care.
Thanks Ando! ☺️🙏 No worries at all. We did, and we’ve got another Da Lat video coming out in a few days. It was a lovely reprieve from the heat. We wish we we could have stayed longer… as with any place we’ve been really haha. Thanks for watching. ✌️

I love soy milk. Sometime we make soymilk at home in the U.S. it take a lot of effort but it's worth it. All you need to do is buy soybeans at the market, wash it first and then leave it in the water over night. The next day put soybeans in the grinder with 1-2 cups of water and grind it, then pour it out on a clean cloth and squeeze the milk out into a bowl. After you done all that, put soymilk in a pan and cook it until you see a bubble mean it's hot. Then viola you have home made soymilk It's very tasty
OMG I nearly had a heart attack when you placed the soy bean drink around your arm. You would've been burned so bad with one squeeze! I'm so happy the vendor looked out for you. 😁
All is forgiven for your pronunciation of Vietnamese words. At least you guys had a try to say the words, "I'll give you a B- for trying." Vietnamese is particularly hard with the accents it has. If you say the word with a different accent, you'll probably change the word all together, I'll applaud Ashley for saying cảm ơn correctly.. anyway I love this fried bread at 5:01 my mother makes it all the time.. you guys should've tried it.. I love the new video, my friends 😊😊😊😊
Ooh! That sounds very interesting! We do love good landscapes. Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately we’ve already left Da Lat, so we’ll have to check it out the next time we are there! Which hopefully won’t be too long from now!
Of course! Thank you for welcoming us! 🥰🥰 We think the people in Vietnam are the best part about the country! Everyone is so warm and friendly and willing to help.

Sort of yea, but if you’re on a bus all day, then get in in the evening and sleep all night, it’s kind of similar! 🤷♂️🤷♀️ A lot of the budget options for transportation between the cities seemed to be these overnight busses, so we ran with it. You can also take slightly more expensive “limo vans” that run during the daytime. It just depends on what works for your budget. ☺️
The dish you call Pizza Da Lat is wrong. Because its name is BANH TRANG. It is a separate dish and has nothing to do with Italian Pizza, so let's call it BANH TRANG, thanks.
Thanks for helping us learn the proper names! ☺️ We we’re always told it was called “Vietnamese Pizza” and originated in Da Lat, we however learned the real name, which we included in the video along with the price during editing. We are learning so much during our travels! Thanks for watching. ☺️🙏
It's okay for them to interpret it as Da Lat pizza as that's what a lot of Vietnamese tell Westerners to call it since Vietnamese is VERY difficult for foreigners to pronounce.
