5 Minute Leg Workout | Follow Along with No Equipment

- Hello everyone!
Here is an absolute favourite of mine if I have 5 minutes and wanted to work my legs and include some calf work! Simply try to balance throughout on your tip toes! Looks easy.... but it is tricky lowering into and out of squats with holding this balance!
The exercises are as follows:
Traditional squats
Sumo squat
Lunge
Lunge
Close stance squat
Each exercise to complete for 1 minute each. Within each minute the breakdown is as follows:
0-20 seconds: full range
20-40 seconds: pulses
40-60 seconds: hold
Only exception is the close stance at end as we do the hold first followed by the pulses!

I just want to say, I will literally watch no other workout videos but yours. I’ve spent my whole life working out and going to the gym and I’ve never noticed the change in my body like I have from doing your videos along with you. I will connect you to my tv and my husband and kids will say “there’s your lady” they know how much I love you. Thank you for doing this and helping so many.

EXACTLY ! Friends are so shocked because they know I’m not going to gym anymore but they see so much more muscle on me! CG is a legend for sure!

Try lifting weights first for the first 7-10 days then do this. Will help a lot!

I’ve been doing her workouts for 2 years, completed all her programs more than once, become so much stronger and fitter, improved my endurance, balance and agility…and this routine still burns!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I love your workouts. Very little talking, just right into the exercises. And I love that you do the workout with your viewers. I hate the videos where the trainer takes ten minutes to explain the exercise, and then says do four sets of ten, then explains the next exercise, and so on. I love to follow along. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Who would think that 5 minutes could fatigue your legs that quickly. I've been doing 30 minutes or less workouts for 3 years now and they're my favorite!

I just wanted to say, I love love love this short form workout. Tysm. Loved how there's so much variety, never repeated a move. And it gives the perfect level of flexibility for me. 5 minutes gives me no excuse not to be able to fit in a quick (but absolute killer!) workout during the day, but it also let's me turn this into a full workout where I can do as many rounds of this as I want with breaks as long as I want in between, which is preferable to me over full length videos.

Hi Caroline, yes that would be lovely! Your body looks amazing in thumbnail!! Which is why I clicked. And in the video goes without saying lol. But As someone who works out quite regularly I know you don’t get legs like that without doing more complex sessions. i. e weights. So would be great to know a bit more please 😊
mercedez UK Hello and thanks for your comments! I change my training on a day to day basis so sometimes heavy lunges (for example barbell lunges or dumbbells with 20kg in each hand) or other days I will do many reps of bodyweight holds, jumps etc! If I am doing weighted workouts, I nearly always finish with bodyweight burn outs if it’s lower body! I also incorporate a lot of Romanian deadlifts into my training, hip thrusts, box jumps and dumbbell squats. I do barbell squats but would not go for excessive weight on these simply as I don’t need to. In regards running, I find sprints and hill sprints amazing for the legs, I love long distance running but wouldn’t say it contributes as much as sprints to definition.
This workout is exactly the kind of training I do, and bodyweight/callisthenics can build amazing strength and physiques alone! I hope you enjoy the workouts... I will be uploading daily at the moment! Cx
Could you do pelvic floor type excercises..I know I need to strengthen my abs and glutes also

Many of these exercises - squats and lunges are covered by so many people, with and without equipment (barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells Bulg Bags). The BIG advances here are completing the movement on your toes, and holding the squat or lunge at the end. Well done.
