    Coming from a Lakers fan since 97. Seeing prime Shaq in 2000-2003 was amazing. Shaq at 7”1 300 plus pounds was so quick for a guy that size and was destroying everything in his path. People say Shaq wasn’t skilled all he did was dunk is crazy. He could take it Coast to coast make the right pass or finish. In terms of footwork on the low block, scoring with his right and left hand Shaq was a monster. He had a chance to be one of the Top 5 players to ever play if he stayed in shape. The thing is....there is not a single person who could guard Shaq. He was like the modern day Chamberlain. That would be so fun to watch Shaq vs Chamberlain (both in their primes).

      Rodman could, and Hakeem. Probably Russell would be able to. There's a reason why Hakeem and Rodma are 1 and 2 in all time defenders.

    It's crazy how more people jumped on Rudy defending himself rather than telling Shaq to leave the man alone. Rudy has yet to say anything about Shaq but every chance Shaq gets he has to say something about Rudy. Rudy didn't come out of nowhere and say this. Shaq started it and Rudy responded as he should.

    92-97 and 98-2003 are two different Shaq's though. Moreover, Olojuwan was the one doing the lunch eating vs 92-97 Shaq. Although 98 and beyond Shaq took over as the best center in the league from then on.

    • @1D4ever
      @1D4ever 2 года назад +1

      I agree they're different but Magic Shaq was actually better. But he faced tougher competition in the 90s. After 2000 all of the other great centers got old and fell off which is he looked more dominant despite being slower and fatter and worse on D.

    I’ve often had all-time draft matchups with my friends. My buddies always drafted Kobe and Bron, and MJ. But what about Steph, KLAY, R. Allen, Rodman, and Shaq? With Bird, and Olijawan on the bench for the fourth to shoot free throws. Qtrs-1-3 dump to Shaq, he dunks or double team and open 3. Miss? Rodman is there. I like that squad a lot
