If I were to crochet this with a gased cotton yarn, or even in your case, will it be necessary to put a liner in the skirt, so it's not see through?
Additionally would the beginning chain length ideally have to be a number dividable by 3?

Use multiples of 8ch for the beginning round will work out perfectly for this pattern. 😃

I wish the quality was a bit better, since I can't seem to retain the names of these stitches in spite of the time I have been crocheting. I just look and repeat so quality is important. Pick a row that you're comfortable with and stop increasing in the next rows. Like just keep repeating the last row until it's how long you want it

On the round that is 3 dc, chain 3, sc, chain 2, sc, chain 3, repeat. I ended the round with 3 dc next to each other. What do you suggest I do? Keep going or adjust it to end with sc chain 2 sc.
When you are starting the skirt do the chain in multiples of 3-if you do this-you will not have to make any adjustments.

I have a doubt. Could u please clear it? If we take the Hip measurement for a skirt to start, will the waistband end up too loose? Can we take the Waist measurement first and slowly increase the stitch pattern to reach the correct Hip size? Especially for close fitting skirt? Even if it is for the flared skirt, can't we do that?
i think you'd have to make the waistband large enough to fit over your hips regardless, but you could add a tie to the waistband to close up that gap when it's on

At the end of the video I mentioned that you can keep repeating the pattern until you reach the desired length :)
