I have so many compliments for this tutorial. It is easy, understandible, the pattern is pretty, relatively quick and economical on yarn, it can be made with different kind, quality and thickness of yarn with only small difference in size (trust me, I already made 2, now making the 3rd one!). And I love the guidance! There are so many tutorials where something is not just right, designer talk to the audience like we are mentally challanged, or repeating "okay?!" after every sentence. Here everything is as it should be, not to much and not to little talk, only neccesary information. This is definitely my favourite tutorial. I an hoping there will be more tutorials on skirts and dresses.

Hello. Thanks for this video. I have 1 question though: If I dont know the person's true size whether small, medium or large. Could I use their waist measurement with the nearest multiple of 9+1 to get the foundation chains? For example, a person's waist measure 38, then I do 36+1? Or a person whose waist measure 41, should I still do multiple of 9 (45 chains +1); since 36 would have been too small?
I like the lace crochet skirt pattern, but I know you have the wrong count of rounds. Please check the round count because I am trying to get the count of rounds 14 and 15 done right but it's wrong, I really like the lace crochet skirt pattern to finish and complete it.

Hi I tried making this in a larger size than the 145 sts but I couldn't get the pattern to work right, it didn't end right any ideas anybody? I did as stated multiples of 9 + 1, I've already made it with 135 sts worked perfect(was for my sister in law) I want 1 to fit me now (I'm a big girl) I tried 172 sts but it wouldn't work, lovely Skirt though x

If you use 16 repeats/144 chs (or 145 chs - I count all chs including the chain on my hook), you should have initial 3chs and 143 double crochets for the first row. If you use 19 repeats/171 chs, you should have 3 chs plus 170 double crochets for the 1st row. I draw the 2nd row skipping the 1st row and post it on my website. I'll write you when it will be ready. Happy crochet!

That happens to me every so often, just close the screen and open it again and the pattern will be there, her patterns are amazing. I don't know why sometimes it has a pop up but its ok to just close it out.
Hi Tisha hemnani, You may add multiples of 9 chains to make the skirt wider. Crochet more rounds before working the bottom edge to make the skirt longer. For the size M or 38" hips, I worked 127 chs. For the size L (40" hips), work 136 chs. For the size XL (41" hips), work 145 chs. You may also adjust your gauge by using a larger size crochet hook or thicker yarn. Happy crochet!
