something interesting you might want to look into is an app for your phone on seismic activity around the world, the amount that happens here in the usa is crazy! it shows you where they are boaring out underground stuff like this

The underground travel tunnels isn't new, this has been going on since our cities were first built. When the cold war was going on tunnel systems were being built. Those tunnel systems doubled as drainage for rain water. The tunnels went to and from all of the churches and mills erected in those times. They are still there today. No longer used for water drainage as they built new systems for that. This is a long thought out plan of 100's of years. Pretty amazing I think, doesn't scare me.

I have been in the salt caves in Cleveland under Lake Erie, kinda creepy but nothing like these in any way. Although knowing that you are underneath one of the great lakes is kinda unsettling.
There's even larger ones under Lake Huron... Spooky...

I used to hull Schreiber cheese into there for Schneider before prime took it over. it was a dedicated rout and my first load I ever did. I got there and thought to myself as I was driving into the caves,"just what the hell did I get myself into". lol.

This is very cool for sure, but, in a training course, in south Florida, U95 is very interesting. Class was about mva's involving hazmat situations inside the tunnel and issues with ventilation and fire concerns. Super cool part was we where allowed to go 10 miles into the tunnel. Where it goes idk but it is very real. Not sure who is using it. Nothing but semi trucks with mostly box trailers and a couple tankers and military as security. We had to get these twic card things just to get into the training course. Looks like a DL but has a chip in it like a credit card. Everyday we had to chip in and out when we where going in and out of the tunnel. No phones allowed either. Anyone watching this a truck driver and has been in U95? Where does it go?

so do any of you drivers ever pickup trailers at manufacturers to deliver there or just transfer terminals? seems the company names inside mostly have no need for such warehousing so must be sponsors for these "fallout shelters" mass prepper groups. nobody really knows whats being stored there. these places are NOT good for storing things that are effected by moisture and normal warehouses are cheaper to build and not as wet. seems the Bible talks about how people in the last days will hide from Gods wrath in caves and cry for the mountains to fall on them.

Love going into those caves in Missouri. i worked for a company who went into them on a regular basis. Had to rescue a guy from one because he was extremely claustrophobic. he made it in the truck length and couldn't go further.

I know how he felt when I went through the tunnel that goes under the ocean in Galveston, TX. The very first time. I had no idea and no time to panic. I was thankful to drive out of it. And the bridge at cape Girardeau Mo. The old one that's narrow. The four-wheel in front of me was swerving back and forth because he was drunk. I told myself if he stops he's going over the side....lol

It might be interesting to note that the world's largest telescope mirror had its final finishing done in a limestone mine about 50 miles Northwest of Pittsburgh, PA. It was a process that took 2 years to complete. The temperature in this manmade cave remains at 55 degrees Fahrenheit regardless of the temperature outdoors and the humidity also remains constant.

According to the Springfield Underground website it is storage to store food and other products and is served by the local utilities company and it is not government run, it is ran by Erlen Group. The Erlen group is an industrial company that also has a facility like this in Joplin.Thes facilities are not connected underground. The only entrances is by road and rail which come from above ground and not underground. And building a project like that would put the government more into debt than it is.

....To store food, AND OTHER STUFF...I buy that, but what do they need so much stored food for? since when are they worried about spending govt money. Truthfully, I'm not an underground engineer, but I'd have to imagine its gotta be comprable in costs. Hey, if this seems normal to you then, ok. Personally, I feel a labyrinth of tunnels that extends for miles in every direction underground, makes me wonder why and if they are just "storing food' , why isnt it more mainstream? Are they provisioning for nuclear war? There are tunnel systems, or highways, (hmmm, lowways?) That run 1500 + miles with underground cities with buildings as tall as 6-7 stories (I wonder how much that saves on construction costs... to bore out the earth and then Build the buildings under the ground, i guess they'd be saving on the electricity? Obviously, you're aware there have been underground nuclear missile sites and bases since the near or before the early 60s, but being able to drive from the ease coast of the US all the way to Nevada underground is pretty crazy. I get what you're saying, I guess I tend to believe theres a lot more going on than just food storage. And I think theres a lot more we have no clue about, and I wouldnt expect any company, whether they admit to having any govt affiliation, to post their business model and daily operations for everyone I have to think theres more to it than economical storage.
