This will be one of the most "America First" World Series in recent memory. Both teams with 100+ losses in the regular season while having modest payrolls are playing to see who is truly the best team in Baseball. I will be happy with either team winning as both of them earned their spots through hard work and determination.

This team really wasn't even the best team in the league or even the division throughout the whole season. If the Phils don't have their slow start or we have a dominant June due to not using a Pride Month logo then the Phillies win the division
Something i haven't seen talked about is how much the D-Backs are built like the 2015 royals. Speed, bullpen, and defense. and you know what nobody has mentioned: How Bruce Bochy beat those royals. Also Pfaadt went to my high school.
I watched the game 7 of the NLCS, and Pfaadt had some nasty stuff in that game. I know he didn't have a good regular season, but he has been awesome in the postseason.
This may not be the best post season ever, but it has been one of the most exciting that’s for sure. Glad to see two new teams in there, I look forward to seeing what the can do
Whats crazy is that the Mariners wouldve won the AL West. Last week of season. Astros swept Dbacks end of year.. While the Rangers and Mariners canibalissd each other last series of regular season.. Stros won tiebreaker. Rangers squeaked in as wild card. Rangers led the West nearly all yr and then slumped. Mariners led AL West a few times in the season too.
There really isnt anything negative you can say about the Twins’ playoff run. It was a success as soon as they made it out of the wild card round. From then on they were just playing with house money and we as Twins fans can really only be proud of them. The future is bright.

As an O's fan, this is what the 2019 Ravens ending felt like. It was literally identical to that playoff game 4 years. A magical season undone by one series where they got outcoached, and beaten at their own game. Hopefully this time it doesn't take a few years to recover from this loss. In a division with the Yankees and Red Sox, who knows what will happen. I hope they'll be back, but knowing this team's checkered past I'm not so sure. What the hell is it with Baltimore teams crapping the bed in the Opening Round as the #1 seed?
I would say that the 2023 Orioles are the 2014 Astros. Its their First Year seeing results of their Rebuild, but like the '14 Stros, the Orioles aren't ready for Primetime,Yet.

I'll say this as a Marlins fan, I'm actually really proud of what the team has accomplished this season and making the playoffs. I'm a little ticked off of what they did to Kim Ng, but so long as they don't do the same shit that they normally do and they actually get a GM who is just as good (if not better) they should be in pretty good hands. Good to see the Diamondbacks and Marlins finally been good for once and putting asses in the seats, after being the biggest laughingstocks of baseball with their team performances being akin to their attendance numbers
I’m an Astros fan, I’m happy with this season. With the sheer amount of injuries they had this year, they are fortunate to make it this far. They will be back in 2024.
The 2022 Astros were a Marine Navy Seal War Tank that Crushed EVERYONE in its path and Tortured the Pinstripes over and over again. The 2023 Astros were a Early 2000s GMC Yukon SUV that clunkered and backfired all Season long, but Still got the Job done, the Jalopy held itself together until the 7th and Final Game of the ALCS, where it finally gave out. Like in the Blues Brothers, The Blues Mobile GOT the Job done and then Fell apart when it got to the Plaza.

@@michaelhession2105 the more I think about this statement, the more true it is. Very young team does very well in regular season only to lose to a wild card team and not win a playoff game. But tbf the Orioles are hella young so I wouldn’t worry at all if I were you
I think the Diamondbacks beating the Phillies will have major repercussions to the way baseball teams are constructed. Hear me out. The Phillies are the quintessential modern analytical three true outcomes “home run or nothing” team while DBacks are a classic small ball and fundamentals team. Teams that rely so heavily on the long ball tend to get cold out of nowhere in the playoffs while more balanced rosters tend to go deeper. This was a bigger deal than a lot of people think.
I don't know why people didn't learn this lesson after Atlanta and Houston won their respective titles with dominant pitching, situational hitting, and clutch defense.
Indeed, that was my main complaint throughout the entire NLCS is the stupid Home-run or bust mentality the team has. It doesn't work. Just listen to that horrible RISP stat Tree mentioned. That is the true problem of Home-run or bust. It leaves A LOT of men on base and batters tend to go very very cold if they aren't hitting home-runs. This team needs an identity change to a small-ball team if we want to have any hope of winning the World Series. Arizona was the masters of small-ball while we were the masters of Home-run or bust and the Small Ball won.
I dont really consider bohm, stott, marsh, rojas, or even turner 3 true outcome hitters lol. Schwarber and Castellanos are, but schwarber lead the phillies in BA, OBP, Slugging %, and was 2nd on the team in RBI in the NLCS despite having rojas, marsh, and Castellanos being the ones who would be hitting ahead of him outside the first inning. Castellanos definitely failed to do anything situational hitting wise. Realmuto was swinging for the fences every at bat too. Apart from that? Naw phillies had good hitters across the board, diamondback pitching was just better. Pitched around harper and schwarber every other at bat, giving them both a lot of walks. Castellanos got nothing but low and outside sliders that he swung at everytime. Marsh even got pitched around pretty hard so they could go after rojas. Stott and turner were hitting the ball pretty hard, just a lot of those were right to defenders, and bohm hit plenty of deep flyballs in arizona and CBP. Props to arizona. They got to the phillies bullpen, and deserved to move on. They hit the ball where phillies werent
As a D Backs fan how the hell did we get here? We had one of the worst stretches all season, limped into the playoffs as a lowly wildcard team, beat the brewers, manhandled the dodgers, and held our own against the Phillies. We weren’t supposed to be here but we are and I’m all for it.
You guys are literally the Phillies from last year. The same exact script and to top if off you are also facing an AL West team. If the script holds you will lose to the Rangers like we lost to the Astros.
If I may, Seattle traded Sewald because they were dealing from a position of strength - still having Andres Munoz, Matt Brash, and Justin Topa helps, especially when you still have arms like Isaiah Campbell and Taylor Saucedo to call up. I don't think they expected to catch fire in August the way they did, considering how underwhelming Teoscar Hernandez was for them, and they traded Sewald to grab a couple of guys who could project as possible starters long-term. Dominic Canzone looks promising, in particular. He's mashing in AAA the same way Mitch Haniger did for Arizona when Seattle dealt for him, and the Mariners really need some more depth in the outfield so they can keep grooming Lazaro Montes as their answer to Yordan Alvarez without needing to compromise in the field. The process for Seattle has been infuriating to a lot of fans, understandably so since they got passed up by the Rangers this year. But the logic has all been solid, and if they hadn't gotten 5th-percentile outcomes from Jesse Winker and Kolten Wong in back-to-back years, no one would be complaining. Truthfully, I think they just need to get some climate control into the stadium. T-Mobile Park after almost 25 years is still brutal on hitters, especially in the early months of the season.
congrats to the rangers on being the first team to beat the “we want houston” allegations

Just remember that since the Brewers have existed in 1970 if they go to the playoffs, the team that beats them goes to the world series. In 1982 of course where they went to the world series, but at the same time, that team did go to the world series, and won it.
The Diamondbacks are my NL team (as a Mariners fan) so I’m really freaking excited to see Marte, Sewald and company take the reigns in this series! Let’s go DBacks!
Damn, the Rangerbacks prediction really gonna make this the first series to end in a Tie
Congrats to both Texas and Arizona reaching the World Series. Both teams have been really on fire this postseason. And lololol at your “prediction”. I say rangers in 6 but i won’t be shocked if Arizona does win it all. It’s been truly an unpredictable playoffs.

This will be one of the most "America First" World Series in recent memory. Both teams with 100+ losses in the regular season while having modest payrolls are playing to see who is truly the best team in Baseball. I will be happy with either team winning as both of them earned their spots through hard work and determination.
I didn’t know having a 250 million payroll was modest for baseball
@@silentstorm5439shhh. but muh murica first.
@@silentstorm5439given the fact that there are several teams that have billions for payroll compared to those it's pretty modest
Excellent use of the Final Kombat/Goro Fight score from the Mortal Kombat '95 soundtrack!
This world series is otherworldly! First time seeing Texas Rangers heading to the top since 2011, with the Diamondbacks this time.
this is the first time in nine years, that I would be satisfied with either team taking the trophy
This World Series is exactly why I love baseball. Both teams have already shocked the world. Let chaos reign free!!!
So which of these old UrinatingTree videos is going to become outdated: his Rangers "Legacy of Failure" vid from 2017, or his D-Backs "Anatomy of a Collapse" vid from 2021?
Finally a World Series we can all enjoy
Look I'm not a very superstitious man, but last time a Dbacks pitcher hit a bird was 2001 and Zac Gallen hit a bird earlier this year. I've had a feeling this year would be special for the Dbacks for a while.
"Rangerbacks in 7" Congratulations, you have created a never-ending game 7, currently in the 33rd inning, more still coming.
Thanks for speaking your mind and not holding back. Entertaining!

As a San Francisco fan, it hurts to see Bochy with another club but I'm so fucking stoked for him to potentially get another ring. Especially in his first year with a perennially mid to bad team in the Rangers.
as a phillies fan. pain nothing but pain. you blew it. you had it all and you blew it.
And the thing that really sucks is fast forward to January when most likely the Eagles get violently T Bagged by the 49ers in the championship game
And this Phillies loss comes less then a year on from a heartbreaking superbowl loss which btw
From a jets fan I think that final holding call was horseshit

@@Thedominator-tr2su We don't even had that since your team beat the Phillies last year. Sigh. Who knows if we ever get back as we are a team that prides itself on Home-Run or bust and having a very shaky bullpen.
As a Braves fan, they choked hard. I just hope the toxic fans don’t fool everybody into thinking it was a wasted season. I loved watching all 104 wins in the regular season. Hoping next year they bring the heat in October!
This team really wasn't even the best team in the league or even the division throughout the whole season. If the Phils don't have their slow start or we have a dominant June due to not using a Pride Month logo then the Phillies win the division
What toxic fans are you referring to
Something i haven't seen talked about is how much the D-Backs are built like the 2015 royals.
"Rangers in 6"
Ah shit, here comes the heartbreak again.
Update Rangers won it in 5
It’s the first time in my life I’ve seen the Twins advance in the postseason, we were just happy😔
"back where he belongs at 2nd base" and showing a highlight with rookie Betts playing 2nd is very well done.

The Rangers survived the tree jinx
There really isnt anything negative you can say about the Twins’ playoff run. It was a success as soon as they made it out of the wild card round. From then on they were just playing with house money and we as Twins fans can really only be proud of them. The future is bright.
The fact you even got a game against Houston was a nice bonus for good measure.
It helps when you play in a division where every other team is either had a catastrophic season or are at least two years away from seriously competing
@@crazyluigi6664 exactly! And game 4 was really competitive. Plus there were huge umpiring issues that favored Houston for the most part. Absolutely not saying that’s why we lost, but it was absolutely a factor. We definitely lost because of our bats being mostly silent besides in game 2. But like i said im so fucking proud of them
@@waidwml2166 true. But we also showed we can compete with other divisions

What I was trying to say is that the AL Central is probably yours for at least another year barring a total collapse
It's tough being a Brewers fan!
As someone who doesn’t even watch baseball I somehow managed to pick the diamondbacks not only making the championship, but that they would sweep at least the first 2 rounds
Thank you Tree for showing what we Blue Jays fans feel.
Anyways my favourite NL team in the Diamondbacks are now going to play for the WS! Let’s go Diamondbacks!
The jinx has misfired. Texas did win, but in five not six.
18:04 Look at Joe Torre's face and laugh in it's majesty.
I remember that. They BUSTED the Yankees Dotcom Reign of Terror!
Phillies fan here, I needed this, thank u, I was so tired of Philly optimism and non stop talking about our stadium, stfu and stop jinxing us I said, thank u for hating this world like me, our failure in multiple games at home was sad
And the Rangers finally ended their Legacy of Failure...
...in 5
Almost, Tree
Mookie and Freddie went bowling with all of those strikes
Like in the Blues Brothers, The Blues Mobile GOT the Job done and then Fell apart when it got to the Plaza.
the real question is will the Tree jinx extend a Legacy of Failure or end it?
For the love of god, I hope the latter.
Holy S is that the music from the WrestleMania 2000 menu screen?!?
This series hurts as a pirates fan, seeing two 100+ loss teams from 2021 like us make it just reminds us we have incompetent management and a cheap owner
Still not planning on tuning in, but gotta love the chaos. A WS without the Dodgers, Yankees, or Red Sox is such a win.

Tree- “Texas in 6” welp time to buy my diamondbacks World Series merch!
True. The rangers are a good home run team but did their best when they got single after single after double, evan carter having sone epic catches.
In the National Leauge, you MUST specifically be the 6 seed, if you want to get to the world series
It funny that both of your World Series teams that you picked the First round opponent went to the World Series
As a D Backs fan how the hell did we get here? We had one of the worst stretches all season, limped into the playoffs as a lowly wildcard team, beat the brewers, manhandled the dodgers, and held our own against the Phillies. We weren’t supposed to be here but we are and I’m all for it.
I'll be rooting for you guys...lived in Phoenix between 2020-2022 and I miss the fuck out of Arizona!
You guys are literally the Phillies from last year. The same exact script and to top if off you are also facing an AL West team. If the script holds you will lose to the Rangers like we lost to the Astros.
@@obsidian00 Remember UT's DBacks Meme in 2021? "We're Fucking Shit!"? Now its "We're Fucking DANGEROUS".
The most soulful World Series
As a rockies fan this result excites me. Can't wait to play the A's in the 2025 world series.
