When you run ToneStack do you run straight from your bass into the sound card and then to the iPad or do you go through some processing first like an amp or a mixer. Bought the whole deal, $60 USD, and can’t seem to get a good tone coming straight out of the Shure wireless and into the Focusrite 18i8. Suggestions?
@@JamieMallender Wow, that was quick. Thanks for getting back to me so fast Jamie. My God I hate playing through a cable; always stepping on the damn thing. One of the things I like about playing through the wireless is that I have a line out so I don't lose any of my mic inputs. Recording by myself it's OK but if I happen to record the band I would like all four mic inputs for the drums. Of course try for a good setup with a cord and then I could try it with wireless; it is a very good wireless. Thank you my friend, I am Grateful. Slim
@@JamieMallender that is awesome man, thank you so much. I am a bit dim. Saw a share button somewhere, that might the kry to sharing presets probably. Not sure though how it all works with multiple presets or you have to send them one by one.
It's strange what people consider pricey. They don't compare price to what you get. They compare the price of something to the average price of a music app. So $5' is a good price and $25 is pricey no matter what you get. I have seen synths that cost $5 that are pricey and some at $25 that are really cheap. Why? Because the $25 one is worth $75 and the one at $5 is terrible at any price. Do I want a ton of shitty $5 apps? Of course not but so many people immediately buy those low priced apps just because they don't cost much.
Absolutely yes! Consider MixBox. For what you get, it’s the bargain of the century but all you see is people moaning about the cost. But they’ll happily buy a £5 app that’s a bit pants every other day.
Hi, I appreciated your Tonestack Pro review, I liked the 2 ipad viewing!
I’m glad it was useful, thank you for watching ✌️
Amazing walkthrough as per usual Jamie! Learned a ton, keep them coming :)
Thank you very much young man! Stay classy!
Thanks Jamie for the video really enjoyed it👍
I enjoyed this stream. Well, I enjoy them all but this was really in my comfort zone too. Thanks for watching duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!
Nice walkthrough - convinced me to buy Tonestack.👍🏽🧔🏼
Cool! Thanks for watching. Shortly I’ll be making a short video live about moving presets from the old app to the new.
Thank you so much for this video!
No sweat duuuuuuuuude! I had a lot of fun doing this one. Bass stuff is always my favourite

Bass into interface, into iPad. Processing is all internal. I’d replace the wireless with a cable to eliminate another potential fault.

Same sound with either the Shure wireless or a cord. It would be a great start for a distorted bass sound but that’s not what I am looking for.
Jamie do you know if it is possible to import our custom presets from the older Tonestack app into this Pro version, and how to do that?
Yes. I’ll make you a video now. :)

You can do one preset or one folder - vid uploading now - I’ll make it live when I’ve fed the kids. :)
@@JamieMallender you rock bro 🤘😎👏✨

With all my respect, too much talking!!!
This was a very early livestream for me. It takes some time to get to grips with.
