They have a co-conspirator handling all that 'off/back-stage' ( maybe not all the time). Think it was/is their drummer/friend . Have tried several times to find a name, but i get sidetracked listening to these two blissfully wonderful artists, and lose my focus. Pretty sure it is Alison's father operating the merchandise booth. I've wanted to ask him at a couple shows, but I just loitered and procrastinated and acted weirdly in his eyes i am sure. At least I felt weird. Probably thought I was looking to snatch something. Never would I , actually thought about giving him $100 bill for a tip to the band.
Really no good reason they cannot do at least 1 show a year in Houston. I'd go every weekend if i could. Even if they played the same songs every time.
Saw them at Stubbs BBQ in Austin last week. No pun intended, but they killed it. This show just sounds slightly out of tune and out of sorts for some reason
