Karin over the last few years has really took their Fever Ray project to true new levels of creativity and that's saying something because I really like their early work a lot.
As a recent convert to Fever Ray (and The Knife), I found this set to be... perfect. Brilliant pick of songs, wildly minimalistic yet constantly compelling. I've watched it almost 10 times in the last two weeks.
This is everything to me. I have followed The Knife and Fever Ray for 20 years and this is just perfection. Im seeing them in Bristol in February and couldn't be more excited.

Fever Ray reminds me, in her perfomance very much of a tom waits performing "down in the hole" Drejier is the devil and also the saint. She turns and twists from lightning bottled up inside her and spits out energy without end, She is the agent provocateur and the provoked. She loves you as much as she hates you with her eyes. She stares right into your very soul but also through you like thin air. Outstanding performance. Hope to see this band in Hamburg. Thanks Arte and thank you Fever Ray!
@@meudeste I can't even begin to imagine how a live show would feel like. It's definitely on my bucket list in this lifetime. Oh I'm not really interested in how people see themselves. I'm not that big of an idealist, most of my principles are logic based, subscribing to the idea of gender would force me to go against my principles. So in this context I only care about s*x based reality, which is what pronouns describe, it's why I'll always refer to every other female animal as she/her. Karin is a woman (an adult human female animal), so I use she/her to refer to her. 👍

You're allowed to believe whatever you want, that's why we have freedom of religion. I've never discriminated against people on the basis of their belief systems or self expression. That's another principle of mine. I can only hope that those who ask for freedom of expression can also grant that same freedom to those around them.

I was 11 years old when I first time saw music video Marble House on 4fun TV by accident late at night when I was supposed to be already sleeping, since that moment The Knife and Fever Ray have changed and influenced my life so much and in such a wonderful way ! Two songs re-fills my soul with feminine rage and fresh passion to keep going. I have lost count how many times I have watched and listened to this gig by Fever Ray. The visuals, colors, their singing and interpretation is amazing, abstract, tangible, weird yet easy to get, captivating... Love the artistic approach they put forward....oh man... I could just carry on and on... Just wish they had included Spain in their european tour... (sigh)

On New Year's Eve they go to a mountain in front of their town. Listen to this music on headphones and watch the fireworks. unforgettable memories. I did it with the Knife silent shout for 15 years🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just saw them perform in Melbourne two nights in a row. I lost my mind at these shows. I've been in post-concert blues ever since lol. The electricity in the air was incredible. It was a seated venue but so many of us were up and dancing in the ailse when new utensils kicked in. I'm Not Done was just mindblowing. I've been to many concerts but this is at the top of the list.
I never felt more connected to a performance than at the Fever Ray tour 2023. Complete primal ecstasy. Karin gave me a rose, too! I still have it pressed in a book. It was the greatest concert of my lifetime and I am so thankful for ARTE for letting me re-live this experience again anytime I wish to!

A true masterpiece of performance art and production values that just blew away the limits of a front of stage concert view performance by utilising the site and different views perfectly. They just keep getting better at their art, and loved Minna and Romarna being brought forward, so to speak to join 3 of the worlds greatest performance artists in Karin, Helena and Maryan. I could write superlatives for pages but its the nuance of every movement, glance, note and tone, that I love . Direction , Lighting , Editing , Sound and Camera work is as good as I have seen. Congratulations to everyone involved.
I can't believe I got to experience all of Karin's works simply by blind luck. *I was in a record store in Knoxville, TN about 14 years ago & a unique song was playing, I asked & found out it was "One Hit" so I bought the Silent Shout Album and was Blown Away!! Then Bought every one of The Knife's albums, & same with Fever Ray when I heard "The Wolf" on Red Riding Hood Movie (I knew instantly it was Karin singing) No one can compare*
Just Brilliant , I brought my then 13 year old to see rhe Knife play at a festival , it was a great line up that year 2013 but the Kinfe were on another level to anyone, Fever Ray are incredible

At the time I’m writing this I see 46k views and I must be atleast 100 of them haha. I just found Fever Ray a few days ago when my Modern teacher used Kandy for a warm up song. It's hard to say this is her best. I will say OMFG a FULL CONCERT!!! HOLY YES MOTHER!!! Actually I'm glad one of my favorite songs snuck into this, this is the BEST my ear balls have listened to over and over. I play this at my work. Love her personas and just her in general.

At the time I’m writing this I see 46k views and I must be atleast 100 of them haha. I just found Fever Ray a few days ago when my Modern teacher used Kandy for a warm up song. So much to this band, a cerebral experience for sure. I’m grateful this just came out since I would have missed them in Boston a few months back. Thanks for this!! Hope they come back soon!
