  • So nice, I had to do it twice. Or rather - so down beat, I had to do a repeat. I have done back to back episodes on the anti-nutrients in our food, especially the nasty nature of oxalates, because the topic is hugely unknown of. This was a truly mind-opening episode with Sally Norton. I saw so many interrelated health problems that may have oxalates as their root cause. This is a wow episode, do not miss it.

Sally you are my hero. One week in as I just heard of this and my irritated bladder of ten years is released copiously in the evening. Praise the heavens for you. Twenty years of veganism and feeling worse in my 50s and not getting why. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I got your book and I am spreading your information to others. THANK YOU I finally have hope I can be healthy!! After all that was why I chose to be vegan in the first place, oh how we've been misguided...

Green smoothies on a vegetarian diet for years. Mostly spinach.
Giant kidney stone packed away in my kidney (pain caused the MRI that found it). Parathyroid gone rogue, eventually removed. Osteopenia. Tooth removal... a seemingly healthy tooth, but several bouts of inflammation and flare ups in my gums.
Surface gathering and eventual dumping of visual lesions- scalp, vulvular, face, especially jaw and temple area. Off oxalates for the most part, but still ridding myself of it through skin. IDK what my kidney looks like. No one offered to remove the 2+ cm stone, but it did fragment and break (another MRI) after I started citrus juice and exercise. And with all this, no one but Sally informed me of oxalate toxicity.

A few years ago I had the tooth thing, seemed healthy, no root canal recommended, but bad gum pain, months of this, had tooth pulled and still had problems.

Okay we should pH test our urine and take a lot of different citric acid and calcium supplements and drink a lot of lemon juice. I think it would be important to change up our veggies if one eats a lot of veggies and starches, stay away from juicing instead use a blender. I will make sure to share this with my clients.

I eat meat and low oxalate salad. I avoid the really high oxalate foods, but I still get some. Can't avoid them all together. Don't really want to, or else the dumping can cause serious problems.

I can verify that I am a close worse case scenario for Oxalates. Been suffering for 8 years and the last 3 have been brutal. I removed all these Oxalates and most all my health issues have disappeared

How long does it take to detoxify from oxalates if I remove them completely? I’m day 46 of carnivore.

I'm almost 3 years and they're still in my body. It took 2 years to clear out my left shoulder pain and knee. Be sure to get enough b1, b6 and biotin. With a b1 deficiency your body makes oxalate endogenously. And oxalate fits the biotin receptors which might cause a deficiency
