THE GRINCH Broadway 2006 Patrick Page-John Cullum

From the 2006 Broadway premiere of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," at the theater then known as The Hilton. Patrick Page as The Grinch, John Cullum as Old Max, and Rusty Ross as Young Max. Four years later, Page would play another comic villain in "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," at the same theater, then called Foxwoods.

I wanted to see footage of the Broadway production for the longest time! I've seen the production in San Diego three times, and I'm a pretty big fan of this musical.

In my humble opinion the NBC live version wasn't very good Morrison"s performance as The Grinch paled in comparison to Patrick Page"s Grinch

This is before the show was revised to give Max the Dog a larger speaking/singing role with the addition of This Time of Year and the removal of Once in a Year, which is replaced by It’s The Thought That Counts. Also, the beginning of the show has Welcome Christmas from the animated special added to the start of the show.

Given that this villain is most likely voiced by Patrick Page, the broadway Grinch, and Vivzie's love for broadway singers as big bad villains. It would be a crime for this not to be leviathan. I mean, we already have Beetlejuice, Jafar, Genie and Ke$ha, let's keep this up
