I honestly prefer that you draw on the screen instead of eye tracking. Bastion is awesome and when you have a team that actually supports him he's nearly unstoppable. In this video bastion's team shielded, healed, and boosted him at ever turn and even if the other team was better they still would have had a hard time with that.

Its not really said on OW, which I would assume is like your first shooter(since you've never heard that). It is said in almost every single FPS game ever, like COD CS:GO and other competitive shooters. So I would assume that you've only recently gotten into FPS.
Dude never stop making videos, you're my favourite RUclipsr and i just appreciate everything you do to make the best experience for your viewers, like the eye tracker etc
This player obviously decided to show off and send in his best clip. That's not the point of the series. You send in your not so great clips to see what you could do better...it's a waste of an episode.
Yeah... best clip where the other team was 1 man down for most of it. Not representative of their skill at all, and Stylosa chose it. He gets hundreds, right? Why...
FKProds He probably didn't know. He has repeatedly said that he only ever watches the first minute of a clip to see if the audio and video are good. He didn't know it would be a 5 v. 6 until he made the video.
FKProds he wants to have genuine reactions as the game progresses so he doesn't make suggestions based on what he knows will happen. There's no other way except getting someone else to check. You are a fail.
I feel like the eye tracker is kind of annoying, i think it could work if you toggle it on and off, only turning it on when you wanna show something, not throughout the whole vid
People just send in an amzing game they had and are like "why am I this rank" I'll put the answer out for every single one of these vids: "inconsistency". There.
For real. Consistency is key. I've been climbing a lot lately playing primarily mccree, and it's not that I'm hitting shots that I couldn't hit before, but rather that I can hit them more consistently.
eye tracker works really well in helping us understand why you're pointing an issue out. you don't have to pause as much because we can see in real time what you're focusing on. makes for a much more cohesive video all in all. keep up the great work!
I quite like the eye tracker because it shows us immediately where you are thinking about going (positioning wise) and shows us priority targets immediately.
I love the new feature eye thing it's amazing and I feel very impatient when you keep pausing it and taking a while 2 draw please keep this and I can see few colors and that purple color I can see please keep 10/10!
I think he plays great, his call outs are awesome too especially since no one else was. Of course, he needs to be more flexible, learn a support, hit scan, and a tank. But overall, if I had him in ranked, I'd be happy! I'm only a little higher than him (High Plat) but his bastion is better than mine xD! Bastion's not my main at all, but I'd say I'm decent! I would just let him have it though while I annoy their back line with tracer and he annoys their front line xD! LOL! (Ultimate combo maybe?)
Hey Mr. Sty Guy, I'm not a fan of the eye tracker. I think it's pretty distracting. I prefer when you draw on the screen because you point out the important things for us to look at. The eye tracker just gets in the way. Sorry bud
I think Bastion is salvageable at any level if you have the mechanics and far more importantly have the tactics and team comp. I don't know how it is on PC but on console Bastion is extremely lethal at Medium range so if you're team comp allows it and you can setup sentry in a strategic spot , got for it, if you have the protection. Backline Bastion is the safest but it does make you more vulnerable to snipers, and it's really only good for melting shields and laying down cover fire, as the spread drops off damage. Granted you can still get some good kills if you're skilled enough. I can't complain much about this Bastion's style of play as the method was successful. Now if the opponents had adjusted it would've been interesting to see if this Bastion had the strategic awareness to effectively adapt(Modify bastion playing style, changing team strategy, or changing characters). Nonetheless, I think a big factor in this team dominance was that Bastion's teammates did a very good job supporting him, (Strong props to D.Va, Bastion, and Anna) Good team mechanics is the biggest benefit in Overwatch. As far as stating that this strategy won't work at higher levels depends entirely on the teams strategy. If Bastion's teammates are deliberately trying to bait or funnel opponents into Bastion's kill zone, this strategy can work if the teammates are effective at their job, It's more pressure on the opponent since they have to worry about 2 things at once. With D.va and Reinhardt being present this actually allows for a more aggressive Bastion play, so long as D.va and Rein know that Bastion is the anchor, that needs to be protected.
I really like the tracker, alot of people are saying its distracting but I dont really notice it until you pause, and it makes it look alot more clean.
eye tracker is really good, it conveys so much information. since we can see what you're looking at, we know what you're focussing on at certain moments in time. lots of people (including me obviously) either focus on irrelevant things or simply dont focus on the really important things.
It would be almost impossible to do. Here is why. When you move the mouse in a desktop or environment where you have a cursor the movement of the mouse moves the position of the cursor along the screen(the screen is always centered and doesn't move). In video games it doesn't work like that, you don't align the cursor along an axis with the screen, it's the opposite, you align the screen(ingame rotational camera gizmo to be precise) with the cursor(this time the cursor is centered and you move the "screen"). Because of how different the way mouse tracks movement is from how an eye tracking does it, it would be incredibly hard to program the eye tracker to work. Not only that, once done, it would be incredibly glitchy and jittery because your natural eye movement behaves nothing like a mouse. Example: you're looking at the center of the screen and your eye tracker is positioning your cursor(camera) at the center, suddenly an enemy appear on the left and your eye sight moves to the left too, the eye tracker takes that into account and moves the camera so the enemy in now in the center where your crosshair is, but your eye is still focused on the left(so now the target in the center where you aren't looking at it's out of focus), not only that but since now the target that was on the left is in the center and your eyesight is still on the left the game will assume you're picking a new target and further move the screen to the left indefinitely or until you position your eyesight to the right(back at the center). Remember, all of this is happening in real time, in a matter of milliseconds and there is always going to a small amount of time where your eyes and reactions are lagging behind the calculations of the mouse movement algorithm in the game, this will cause massive inaccuracy and incredibly glitchy camera movement. I can only think of two ways an eye tracking can be implemented into a game. The first is if you make the eye tracker input of your eye movement data behave like how a data from an joystick would move the screen/cursor - looking to the left is simply calculated the same as if you move the cursor with a key from the keyboard(or a console joystick), but that would completely defeat the purpose of the eye tracking(shooting at the point where your eyes are pointed). The other solution that can actually work exactly how you would imagine is if the game engine is programmed so that the camera is a separate entity from the cursor, i.e. you move the camera with your mouse as normal but the crosshair is not centered and stationary but instead moves along the screen(like in MOBA/RTS games) following your eyesight - this would work perfectly it but it has to be implemented in the game engine itself and since eye trackers are not that popular I highly doubt the blizzard devs would invest in the time and resources it would require to be done. Source: I study computer graphics and animation. Anyway, can you link me the CS video you're taking about? I'd be very curious to see how they managed to make it work. EDIT: some wording fixed.
BigBodChung what your saying is completely bullshit i main bastion been doing so since beta im 3260 and when i play bastion i rarely have to switch maybe since you dont main him your not as good as other players so thats on you. for example i dont main zenyetta so if i pick him i have switch litterally right after cause i dont do good at all sooo...... dont say something doesnt work u less you main the character
Sergant_Apple_Monkey_ 3 so you're telling me bastion works 100% of the time on attack of temple of Anubis? Interesting. Also I'm talking like 3400-3600 on the border of master and high diamond.
I find the eye tracker a lot more helpful than the screen drawings because it sort of acts like a guide as to what we should be looking at during our own matches, also the rapid movement of the tracker makes me feel like I'm in someone else's head which is very interesting.
Hey Sty, to add a point onto your discussion around 16:20 it might also help if you used call out names for location (coming through hotel). Not only for you to explain your point but for us as players to learn them and use them in game (if we don't already). You have done it in the past but I would love to see more, it's helps me understand key locations when I'm playing.
I quite like the eye tracker, theres a lot of information that can be inferred from where youre looking that you may not even mention yourself verbally.
+Garrett Hunt well go for it bro, but be warned, you're going to have to play A LOT of comp. like you have to win 300 games (assuming you get no draws, but you'll probably get a few).
MattyCCuz I'm becoming a onetrick tore for the next season so... I will only switch for other characters if torn doesn't work, and trust me, he always works...
Colorblind guy here! Love the eye tracker, the ring is visible the whole time, the color of the ring didn't blend into other colors, so that's great. Thanks for thinking of the colorblind, most people don't!
I thought the eye tracker in the video worked very well. It allowed us an insight into how you see the game, what you look for, instantaneously. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did.
As a 65% win rate high masters-low grand masters bastion main I have to say the mmr doesn't matter. People don't know how to kill or hide from a bastion properly at any rank, a bastion only gets countered by an unwilling team.
Dankmemes And Roadhog. Roadhog counters Bastion. And Tracer. And Pharah. And Genji. And Hanzo. And Widowmaker. And Dva. But you know that's just a few.
Aeberon road gets stopped by good rein so does widow, tracer only with ult pharaoh can get shot down easily if you're good, Genji if you're bad at the game stops you hanzo same thing as widow and hog d.va is a counter tho I'll give you that.
I am severely color blind and saw your other video, it is much easier for me to see the purple color than the green you used before. Thank you for taking people like me into consideration. Love this series btw. Keep up the great work. :)
How are they plat. Im in gold and the people I play against and with always get high ground, focus the bastion and are just overall much much better. I guess it's just ELO he'll huh. You honestly can't just do this in Gold, at least when I play. It's incredible how bastion can annihilate in plat but not in gold XD
bruh I'm in BRONZE and people don't stupidly walk into Bastion like this. it must've just been a bad case of the whole enemy team being so tilted they couldn't think straight.
Just saying Sty, some people do actually get golden bastion guns for memes and not because they are actually good at bastion. Don't get me wrong this bastion was good and bastion mains and good bastions may want to get it, but isn't always the case
I think the eye tracker is nice for these videos, it's gives the viewer a better insight on what he is seeing and describing. I like it better than the previous MS paint overlay.
For the end point on attack King's Row when you mentioned sitting on the payload, i feel like he did the right thing by sitting a bit further back. When the payload is that close to the goal, most players in most ranks focus on stalling on the payload rather than focusing on the guy at the back. This gave him good line of sight on both doors and the payload while suppressing the other team.
Very Disappointed: So I've noticed this problem in a few of the Over Analyzed series, sometimes you don't analyze much if you don't like the hero pick. I've heard "this just won't work at higher ranks" in multiple videos from you. That's not what we're tuning in to hear. Junkrats, Bastions Torbs and Syms hear that all day in game. You mentioned there are some really high level players that main a role like Bastion, but then quickly dismiss any advice on how to play more like them and basically say "but you'll never be them so don't try". Personally I think you watched this video with a bias and prejudice eye and missed complimenting some obvious things this player was doing very well, such as moving frequently, not over committing to a line of sight, self healing well while running and good aim in recon mode. I thing the biggest glaring clue that you weren't paying much attention to the actual play at hand is how you chastised every time he used Tank Ult, but the situation worked in the team's favor every time. You seem to not have enough personal experience with Bastion to realize his Ult builds extremely fast. Also, as you glossed over later Bastion actually does more dps in turret mode than in tank mode. Not only when Nanoed, but all the time. Tank mode only adds to Bastions mobility while doing damage and durablity, its is not a dps boost. This is exactly how this player used the Ult and you missed the point and purpose each time. I love your vids, big fan of your work, but in all honesty you may want to bring in some assistance or another voice of perspective on Over Analyzed vids that focus on Heroes you are less familiar with. It will help you understand such Heroes better and help avoid making 20minute advice videos that literally offered no useful advise, other than "don't play this hero at higher ranks".
my knee-jerk reaction to your comment was to disagree with you, but after reading it in it's entirety I understand your points. I think part of the problem comes from how his videos are chosen. He only makes sure quality is up to par then records the video. I wish he would screen the videos before hand to filter out 6v5 20 min curb stomps. Better yet, tell people not to send those in.
I give him points for using the Payload as cover as often as he does. He's not setting up in the middle of the street, he's covering his sides, and he plays the "Fat Soldier" recon mode enough to make it work.
Sty, how many times are you going to say "it's not gonna wash"? I'm sorry, but as a player in master that hit GM playing mostly Symmetra, it can work if you get creative, you refuse to accept creativity and good strategy for some reason, which absolutely baffles me. Just because you can't play alongside non-meta heroes like Bastion, Torb, and Sombra the same way you can play alongside heroes like Mccree, Pharah, and 76, etc. doesn't mean it can't work. It just requires different styles of play, and you and others that say they're "just bad" and "won't work" are handicapping yourselves and the community instead of encouraging others to think about how to play alongside these heroes.
While I agree with you, the thing is that most people simply don't know how to play with the off-meta heroes on their team. You rarely see them on your team, therefore you never really need to learn to play around. So yes, while they can be effective, they just don't have that clearly defined role that is easy to work with.
No, but to be a good Overwatch player, you have to PLAY around your teammate's picks, no matter what they are playing. Just like, if someone's playing Rein, they expect their team to play around it by standing behind his barrier, following up on Earthshatter, covering his flank, etc. If the team absolutely doesn't want to "build around me" I'm more than willing to swap, I said *mostly*, not *only*.
That is an unfortunate side effect of what Sty and many others do by writing off certain heroes consistently. I would argue that the majority of the OW player base that would try out and develop strategies for "off-meta" heroes don't do it because they get written off both by Overwatch content creators and their teammates in game. I have a friend that was a mid-diamond player, he liked to play heroes like Bastion, Torb, etc. and he had the potential to be at least a mid-master player, but he stopped playing because every single game he received nothing but hate and vitriol, mostly before the game even started.
You asked for input on the eye tracker so here is mine. I'm generally in favor of it, but it's not really for me. The light magenta is a bit hard to see for me against all the flashy moves and such going on in the screen with my visual disability. I lost track of it a lot. So my vote is that I prefer the red lines. The reason is that they were a very bold, dark red and I feel that it's more informative than just seeing where you're looking because it shows instead of just tells where your focus and tactics should be. However, people that are colorblind are a lot more common than what I have, so keep it if you feel it's for the best. I don't want to cause a worse experience for so many who were enjoying your content, and I'm used to being overlooked. I love your Over-Analyzed series, Sty. Have a good day and keep it up.
good accuracy isn't as easy as it sounds so he actually has a point. if you can be flexible, have good positioning and aim, then yes, you will end up in a very high rank.
the eye tracker is a really good idea, and definitely fine instead of the pen. pen is better if you're trying to explain plans or show routes, but for just "you should be in this position", the eye tracker is great
I think the eye tracker worked really well for this video because Bastions aren't super concerned with traversing the map, however, I think the red pen would still be useful to outline routes to utilize in other gameplays.
Loving this eyetracker stuff, dude. Really useful to see where you're looking compared to where the aim point is. Maybe combine it with screen drawing during paused bits?
The eye tracker is useful for showing how quickly you pick up on people in the game, because it shows people how to look at kill feed and health bars and stuff in combat, and it also shows them what it looks like to quickly spot enemies that pop into frame suddenly and where they should be looking to be able to see people quickly. But I think it is much more important that you use it when you are playing than for coaching vids because you don't have to look at the crosshair to aim as much when you are watching someone else play, so your eyes dance all over the place much more than usual to look directly at enemies instead of using more peripheral vision because you are trying to aim at people. So maybe draw on the coaching series, or even do both if you wanted?
There seem to be a lot of people complaining about this being a stomp game and not a loss, or just a more even match. I actually like to see these stomp games sometimes, because it actually might be more difficult to understand your rank, when you feel like you are able to stomp teams like this but somehow still can't make a steady climb. Showing that a stomp in Platinum doesn't translate to the same tactic working in Díamond or Masters is something that I think many people overlook. Instead they just go "oh I am able to play this good, I can get so many gold medals and shred the team", and then when they lose they might be more prone to blame their team mates for the loss, instead of evaluating their own choice of tactics. An example, if this Bastion player goes into a match right after this stomp, and then lose, he might blame the healers or tanks or whatever, because he himself did so great in last round so it can't be his skills that are to blame, right?!.. Wrong. Noticing your own playstyle and how it fits with your team, but mroe importantly, how it fits against the enemy teamwork, is super important. Sty getting this stomp to review and tell why it might not benefit you to use specific characters or positioning further up the ranks, even though you are stomping right now, is very valuable and often overlooked imo. Yea I'd also see the same coaching done in a loss scenario, but is it too much to ask for both? We have had several losses and several wins, isn't it cool to see from both perspectives? Sending in a stomp game doesn't have to mean you want to show off. It might just mean that you want to figure out why your "high skill plays" aren't enough to get you out of your rank.
I can't be the only who let out a rather embarrassing giggle when that high ground McCree at the start just went *pop* and croaked like he dropped his flashbang.
This video is old but you keep bringing up higher ranks and I wanted to comment on it . I understand the basics of how the game works and I know how the game should be playing , but in a sea of no mics , scattered team mates , and the inability to group up or reset properly - Bastion works . I was on a terrible losing streak til I picked up bastion . I tried tracer , torbjorn , mei , echo and I watched vod review after vod review . My tank sr and my support sr went up while I was hardstuck in silver for dps . It didnt matter what I did , I couldnt make it work and the lower you go the less people understand their roles . Tanks who 1 v 6 and dont make space and supports who hard pocket those tanks and end up wildly out of position and get picked off leaving the rest of us to 4 v 6 the enemy team and their junkrat doomfist combo . The best thing to do is learn "cheap" characters and know when to use them . I've inadvertently become a bastion one trick because its the only thing carrying me out of silver at the moment . Positing well and getting picks is top priority , it does get harder when you're countered but Ive learned to start abusing high ground . Again these are old , and this is plat not silver , but I really wish there were more coaching videos from the perspective of a silver . Half the time if the team isnt working then the team just isn't working , everyone is blaming each other but no one is improving . Sometimes its best to just do what works .
Also in the US they tend to say "crit" not "lit". You may have just misheard. Crit stands for critical health. We do say "lit" a lot here, just not really in that context. :)
Definitely prefer drawing on the screen. It making things to hectic have that circle jumping across the screen. I also liked the pausing with the whiteboard drawing because they give you a bit of time to listen and catch up with what's going on.
Personally i prefer the writing on the screen. The eye tracker is a cool technology by eyes can twitch around and putting forth an effort to point at things with where you are looking might make you miss something. The writings are a bit more versatile as well, letting you draw arrows for routes (that remain on the screen to show the full path), circle potential targets, and highlight things of interest where the eye tracker can only be in one place at a time and does not remain after that.

I honestly prefer that you draw on the screen instead of eye tracking. Agreed. It's like watching subbed anime lol. Sometimes you miss what's going on because you have to follow something else.

As an American overwatch player, I have never heard someone refer to someone with low health as "lit"
i've heard it in cs:go games a lot
+rondelego2 yeah it's more of a cs thing
Murat Direskeneli same lol
As an american overwatch player I say "lit" to call-out low hp targets, and hear it all the time as well. It's probably a regional thing
Murat Direskeneli I hear a variety of things. "Lit" has a fair share of the fallouts, but "low", "one", "lit", and so on are all common

Its not really said on OW, which I would assume is like your first shooter(since you've never heard that). It is said in almost every single FPS game ever, like COD CS:GO and other competitive shooters. So I would assume that you've only recently gotten into FPS.
I absolutely hate the eye tracker. It distracts me so much when I'm watching the video and bring back the drawing pls.

Dusty Potato UR NAME AS WELL POTATOES ARE RULING THE WORLD EID ANNAW I DONT READ THAT BACKWARDS
Im just cringing how bad their mccree was
get a job
Stylosa never wants me to get better. He's actively oppressing me by not telling me how trash I am in my videos.
I feel like the eye tracker is kind of annoying, i think it could work if you toggle it on and off, only turning it on when you wanna show something, not throughout the whole vid
People just send in an amzing game they had and are like "why am I this rank"
I'll put the answer out for every single one of these vids: "inconsistency". There.
sloesty Tell em again
good point, sometimes you're consistently good with a hero that can't carry though, there's no consistency on how good your teams are in plat
For real. Consistency is key. I've been climbing a lot lately playing primarily mccree, and it's not that I'm hitting shots that I couldn't hit before, but rather that I can hit them more consistently.
today i killed a bastion
i just cured cancer give me healing
Genji Shimada XD
Genji Shimada bastion isn't cancer. Symmetra is ;D
Genji Shimada MADA MADA!
Genji Shimada U r cancer
Genji Shimada This isn't funny anymore
eye tracker works really well in helping us understand why you're pointing an issue out. you don't have to pause as much because we can see in real time what you're focusing on. makes for a much more cohesive video all in all. keep up the great work!
I quite like the eye tracker because it shows us immediately where you are thinking about going (positioning wise) and shows us priority targets immediately.
I love the new feature eye thing it's amazing and I feel very impatient when you keep pausing it and taking a while 2 draw please keep this and I can see few colors and that purple color I can see please keep 10/10!
i play Bastion a lot and sometimes you need to stay back otherwise you will die. 8:46
Next: detecting radiation waves with nose and having the waves visible on the screen
I personally love the red pen drawings --- totally adds to the entertainment and comedic value. Great videos!
LOL! (Ultimate combo maybe?)
bastion is hitscan
Dhan Tamber Only thing I would say is his positioning is quite poor. Was just fortunate his healers were good and the other team were trash
@@ResevoirGod kinda true
with some more experience ez 3.9k peak bastion only
I love this series
I love the eye tracker. Just saves time on my part because I don't have to wait for you to draw stuff on the screen. Keep up the videos!
Well, on console, of course everyone is in a group, so talking is non existent
batbunny321 that's not true what rank are you?
batbunny321 ikr im always in voice chat and no one really talks, on xbox at least
Soooooo true
This is pc
I'm in masters on console as well and in almost every match of season 6 yet there's been at least 1 person talking in like every game
Can u do a video covering the glitch where mei drops a soul when killed by reaper.
LOL
Miu 85 Yeah plz
Haven't heard that b4
Miu 85 That happens to all the heroes xd
theonlinedemon someone's a buzz kill who doesn't understand jokes.
No fucking way that enemy team is platinum this is silver level play
Bastion is def plat level tho
Watch Kolorblind destroy other GM's and top 500s as bastion
Jacob Adamsky I think I will lol. But am I wrong that that enemy team was kinda shit for platinum?
They were shit for Plat but it also depends on the bastions skill compared to the enemy team. Kolorblind can destroy other top 500s with bastion
LordofSalt, Way lower than silver brah, but to be fair it WAS a 5v6 most of the time.
Please make the video where use the EYE TRACKER AS MOUSE to AIM !
I saw something similar with CS:GO and it is possible with some nice results ;)
You'd be so accurate XD
Navi Retlav how would you fire?
Zevran08 you would fire normally
EDIT: some wording fixed.
bios47 How long did it take to write that?
can u please do a video on how to use genjis dragonblade without dying?
SummerBassoon yes i want it
SummerBassoon you have to time it then get your team to distract them then you strike
Make sure you stand still while i try to heal you
Spam ''I need healing'''. You have unlimited health when you do it
SummerBassoon uh, dash up theb use ult then dive down to your opponents? simple as that.
Can confirm this kind of stuff doesn't work in diamond. Maybe once in a blue moon, but you eventually have to switch.
Who else does competitive just for the golden gun
Galata Bayssa rn i have bastion, my next one is going to be sombra:/
Galata Bayssa I don't play competitive but I have been wanting to recently just for that reason.
+Garrett Hunt well go for it bro, but be warned, you're going to have to play A LOT of comp. like you have to win 300 games (assuming you get no draws, but you'll probably get a few).
nlc369 not anymore cause u have to get the exact same percentage to have a draw
Danny F oh yeah the 33% thing but it didn't come yet
Anyone else wanna see one for Torb?
No?
Just me?
Ok... 😂
i do ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
MattyCCuz i really want to see that
MattyCCuz I'm becoming a onetrick tore for the next season so... I will only switch for other characters if torn doesn't work, and trust me, he always works...
MattyCCuz actually Torjborn at 300 sr would be great. Even AI would prefer kill itself.
I do
I like the eye tracker. Much less distracting than pausing the video and drawing on the screen. I'll look forward to seeing it in future videos.
dude, this eye tracker thing is the best. keep it. its easier to follow and understand. next level.
eye tracker is good for the first vid you made but not for coaching vids:) Im a bastion zarya main and I love seeing bastion get some love:)
Jonathan Chow same #goldfortilt
absolutely, good to see what player do, not comentater watch.
hope sty will see your comment
plz no eye tracker only draw
I do not like the eye tracker it is really annoying and gives me a headache
Is that a pro MYNAMEJEFF?
Colorblind guy here! Love the eye tracker, the ring is visible the whole time, the color of the ring didn't blend into other colors, so that's great. Thanks for thinking of the colorblind, most people don't!
I thought the eye tracker in the video worked very well. It allowed us an insight into how you see the game, what you look for, instantaneously. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did.
love his laugh XD
Get ready stylosa, aridiouko don't care about the name but he may or may not be "pro genji" in a bronze account and please do analyse that damn video
MC SKELLY I'll tell Sty to do it, or I'll make him bronze with 1 SR
As a 65% win rate high masters-low grand masters bastion main I have to say the mmr doesn't matter. People don't know how to kill or hide from a bastion properly at any rank, a bastion only gets countered by an unwilling team.
same
H v you're plat tho
Dankmemes And Roadhog. Roadhog counters Bastion. And Tracer. And Pharah. And Genji. And Hanzo. And Widowmaker. And Dva. But you know that's just a few.
Aeberon road gets stopped by good rein so does widow, tracer only with ult pharaoh can get shot down easily if you're good, Genji if you're bad at the game stops you hanzo same thing as widow and hog d.va is a counter tho I'll give you that.
Dankmemes can you give me some tips for his ulti? Im a bastion at 3400 but cant ger into masters...
I am severely color blind and saw your other video, it is much easier for me to see the purple color than the green you used before. Thank you for taking people like me into consideration. Love this series btw. Keep up the great work. :)
Eye tracking is one the craziest, and surprisingly helpful things! Please, keep using it!
thx i love this series, i hope u bring console into this coz i think i am pretty good
Random something's there's console they're is console too
LENNY wut
Random if u think u r "pretty good" then send him clips
LENNY rip English
Random lol I meant sometimes he does console
How are they plat. Im in gold and the people I play against and with always get high ground, focus the bastion and are just overall much much better. I guess it's just ELO he'll huh. You honestly can't just do this in Gold, at least when I play. It's incredible how bastion can annihilate in plat but not in gold XD
the game was mostly a 5v6
Their McCree was pretty crappy
It's nothing to do with ELO hell. This was a 5v6 and most times Bastion just isn't the best pick on Attack or KotH.
bruh I'm in BRONZE and people don't stupidly walk into Bastion like this. it must've just been a bad case of the whole enemy team being so tilted they couldn't think straight.
Just saying Sty, some people do actually get golden bastion guns for memes and not because they are actually good at bastion. Don't get me wrong this bastion was good and bastion mains and good bastions may want to get it, but isn't always the case
Ryuseigun u got it, i bought to tilt the enemies same with my orisa golden xDDD
Same with Hanzo
I think the eye tracker is nice for these videos, it's gives the viewer a better insight on what he is seeing and describing. I like it better than the previous MS paint overlay.
For the end point on attack King's Row when you mentioned sitting on the payload, i feel like he did the right thing by sitting a bit further back. When the payload is that close to the goal, most players in most ranks focus on stalling on the payload rather than focusing on the guy at the back. This gave him good line of sight on both doors and the payload while suppressing the other team.
I was done when he said a bastion main
The. New bubble purple thing is annoying when watching like if you agree
Yeh
Yeh
he said comment not like you idiot
You too buddy
Very Disappointed:
So I've noticed this problem in a few of the Over Analyzed series, sometimes you don't analyze much if you don't like the hero pick.
I think its good he said that but it should have been once or twice the reason why and moved on.
Damn finally someone calling it as it is.
The team mates won the game for him this game.
Great play by the tanks and healers keeping the tanks alive.
Bastion hardly got shot.
I give him points for using the Payload as cover as often as he does. He's not setting up in the middle of the street, he's covering his sides, and he plays the "Fat Soldier" recon mode enough to make it work.
I love eye tracker.
please do a overanalyzed on D.Va (like if you agree)
agreed, been waiting for one since he started the series!
Catboss 420 your wish got granted lol
So basically, you want people to build teams entirely around your one trick?
Travis Smith In a way we all wish for that.
It's satisfying to watch when a non - meta pick like Bastion works so well, especially in attack
I have a passionated hate for bastion
Take away the magenta thingy like if u agree
Stylosa: Wow! you can point at a hero and can shoot! You belong in high GM!
good accuracy isn't as easy as it sounds so he actually has a point. if you can be flexible, have good positioning and aim, then yes, you will end up in a very high rank.
But this bastion has actually shit aim in my opinion, if you see him not transformed you see him struggling with his aim.
Love your overanalyzed series!!!!
the eye tracker is a really good idea, and definitely fine instead of the pen. pen is better if you're trying to explain plans or show routes, but for just "you should be in this position", the eye tracker is great
I think the eye tracker worked really well for this video because Bastions aren't super concerned with traversing the map, however, I think the red pen would still be useful to outline routes to utilize in other gameplays.
Sty, I got rated bronze die to very unlucky placements and was stuck under
I like the white board option better than the eye tracker. I like these over analyzed videos keep it up!
Who else couldn't stop looking at the eye tracker?
I CANT STOP LOOKING AT IT
Eye tracker is good cause it shows us where we'd be best off looking at, but when u pause it wouldnt hurt to draw to make things thorough
"Don't use tank mode"
"Don't use tank mode"
*tank mode engaged*
"...I wouldn't have used tank mode."
what a great over analyzed.... enemy team trickled in the whole time, and they had a leaver. thats some high octane gameplay!
The purple colour of the eye tracking marker works a lot better thanks Sty!
