the literal visible step up in animation style and quality before and after junker queen and kiriko is amazing when junker queen starts it literally feels like something from disney/ dreamworks the animation team for overwatch is incredible if only all this potential wasn’t wasted on a game which doesn’t even have a campaign
@@BlobTempest Could still be due to budget cuts. 2D in general isn’t cheaper but all the 3D cinematics have the same style so if they needed to spend less they could do 2D in a cheaper style without looking like it’s the same style but worse.

The community destroyed this game in my eyes. This game used to be fun. This game used to have lore. Now it's just competitive players crying about balancing. We need more lore cinematics, like cmon blizzard. You keep adding characters with like 40 second lore videos when you guys used to make shit like this.

That kiriko trailer is the reason ow recovered from the lack of players .. yet still ow kept on disappointing players .. hopefully in next up coming season they will do something to recover
What if heroes gained an alt moveset kinda thing based off cinematic, for example genji could use a smokebomb instead of dash, and instead of deflecting he cuts through things(but as compensation for not being able to deflect he could maybe cut through more things like beams idk), bastions ult changes to attack mode where the blue becomes red and he goes into a stationary mode instead of the mobile turret(basically ow1) but he gains stronger stats and (depending on how op it is) maybe like his og shield, sombra could maybe hack into the maps and change terrain by opening doors and stuff, or be able to steal things like enemy turrets for a little bit, reaper could have like a takedown wraith form where instead of just going invincible he basically flies towards a target, and if it’s low health enemy he kills them, Reinhardt could have an ult where he pulls out a second hammer, and each swing is able to send a weaker firestrike. Do they need tweaked, most definitely. Is it kinda a bad idea, yep. But I just think it would be interesting to see

"Genesis Part 3" isn't actually 17 minutes long. A new chapter starts at 2:09:29 (I don't know what it's titled), and "Illari" begins at 2:16:37.

Why does overwatch cinematic make me over emotional and cry joy. I wish the game did the same but gods dam the cinematic make me want to play.
Which is because my main I think was Reaper and he got his ass kicked in every cinematic but my seconds was Tracer and Reinhardt.

2D is oftentimes more expensive. That kind though does look a lot less expensive but it’s in no way tied to the fact that it’s 2D
