This game is proof that no player deserves their rank. This Ana isn't necessarily bad but the Zenyatta from the last video played way better in comparison at near 600 SR lower.
My advice: At around 25:00 mins when ana is fighting the widow Sty makes the point "you might die" well i think you have more immediate concerns as you where absent from a big team fight and your team all died... If you were there instead of trying to be a hero and kill widow as a healer, maybe you could have won that fight or at least held out longer and taken more time from the enemy. Im also low platinum (eu) your dps should be able to do it have faith in them and just stay with the team and keep them healed. as ana i see it as your job (i also play a bit of ana) to enable your team to fulfill their roles, whenever you dont keep them healed you are letting them down and its as much your fault as theirs if they then lose the teamfight. I agree with Sty that your ult us is horrible too. Not trying to sound negative just constructive criticism.
supports are not meant to ask people what to do, you have to be behind your team looking at everyone and you dictate the fight. You decide what your team does

Too lazy or unable to land heals on small teammates like pharah or tracer. Never know when to scope in or hip fire. Too focused on trying to out snipe the other team. You can't tell me you never experienced any of these types of Ana players in more than 80% of your competitive and quickplay matches. lol

Sty, it would be great to have a guest go through these with you. Just you talking to yourself is actually pretty good and you manage to hold a 'conversation' with the player you're commenting on quite well. But I think having an actual guest to discuss with and get feedback on each others' opinions etc would bring a lot to this series. Obviously Kiri isn't around these days, but he wouldn't be that suitable anyway, not being that into Overwatch. But I'm sure you know a ton of knowledgeable people who could join you for an episode of this here and there.

My biggest issue learning Ana as well, poor Ult management. I didn't fully realize how well she gets it back and I lose opps I could have boosted people. That insight alone was worth the watch. I also realized I need to communicate with the Ult. The comment on the scope was helpful. I was shooting her like widow. First vid I watched. I like your direct and honest advice and commentary. God I'm an Ana main and seeing this person barely using nano and when they do it's pretty bad, missing sleep darts, and having really freaking high sensativity makes me wanna cry
As a support main at 2k, I am completely fucking flabergasted that this guy is 2.6k. Aside from the total lack of game sense, he literally threw the game twice with 30/45s left and was apparently so dumbfounded as to what happened that he needed sty to tell him? wtf I think Sty is being way too generous when he said "I'm not going to say you threw the game" He may not have meant to throw the game but his piss-poor decision making is the reason they lost that game. If he just stayed in the backline and healed at the first choke., they would have won. Instead, with 30 sec left he decides to go commando and the opposing team predictably wipes them. Instead of learning from that mistake, he does it again on the final point with 45 sec remaining. I can't even wrap my head around why he couldn't watch his own video and see exactly how he was personally responsible for the L.

I have two accounts which are both Master and only solo queue. 1 of them is a Support main and another is where I play anything else. You don't need dps to climb. The support account is higher than my dps anyway. And you don't need to be carried lmao.
I climbed 300SR last night by letting people have their stupid picks. I was just under 2500 (still plat weirdly) and ended the night just over 2700. You can make an off-hand comment about the pick being "interesting" but you're willing to give it a try. And you know what happens? People will change when they realise that it's not a good pick. At plat the game knowledge isn't 100% and getting annoyed with a lack of game knowledge is just silly. Education is a better tool than fury and my SR explosion has proved that.
Sombra is weak, I know this but others do not. Just saying "sombra's a little underpowered" is better than going "YO SOMBRA'S SHIT PICK SOMETHING ELSE!" Because creating an atmosphere of conflict is going to make your team resent you and not do what you want. In fact they're more likely to throw the game to make the sad bundle of weaponized autism even more annoyed.
***** i never say sombra is shit. If you have near perfect ain and you know how to flank, you can wreck snipers and supports, but most sombras I've seen in comp - in fact - only today 5 - had less than 1 hour and sometimes half an hour on sombra, so yeah, in their hands, sombra is SHIT.
I once met a Widowmaker with 1hr on Widow. Turns out she was a CS:GO semi-pro who could mark a target literally across the map. Playtime doesn't mean much and I'm always willing to give people a chance before I ask them to change.

Specifically I'm talking about Lone Hawk's Coach Hawk series. That dude is a good player and a good editor, but not a great teacher/coach. cody spud the entire team was dead. The rein was low. It was basically a lost fight. He could have used it at another better time at least twice before.
D.va and Ana are my 2 most played heroes... just waiting for the nerfs to hit :/ btw, I havent mastered it yet (still forget about it in fights alot) but animation cancelling during reloads is very useful.
Saitham im on console. Ptr changes arent a guarantee to happen. Still think to stop the tank meta they should've hit Rein rather than D.va. No one talks about it but his shield is to powerful. Where as Winston's needs strengthening. D.va still gets melted as she is now if there is either a Mei or Zarya on the other team.
Antony Gregory While Rein is a bit too strong, his Shield can easily melt with Junkrat, Soldier or Pharah. Also the Shield limits his movement. D.va can use her shiled with no consequence in movement. Is D.Va op? Not that much, but a bit. Is Rein op? Just in the way that he is hard to counter when he always is with his team.
denizu179 d.va cant block zarya, mei or explosions. So thats counterable. You have to spend time to burn down that shield, considering sombra's use is minimal atm
God damn this video is triggering. This Ana has some major decision making problems. Holds off her ultimate for years and years on and spends it in the end in an extreamly bad situation. Misses most of his EASY sleep darts. Goes suddenly some random-ass flank mode and doesn't heal his team but tries to go DPS while whole his team wipes and you lose the 1st point mainly, MAINLY, due to your bad decision making. You could've been with your team and heal them and nanoboosted one of your teammates, but nope, you ended up doing nothing and let your team die. So triggered.

I cried a little inside when I saw him over extend to try and DPS as Ana while his team was dying behind him. But you learn from your mistakes, almost all the knowledge I have in this game is the outcome of countless mistakes that I've made and still make.. Love the Over-Analyzed Series though, such a great idea & such good tips. Keep it up!

Sillylemon I'm in silver and I'm not trying to sound cocky but I've carried rein before and Orisa to keep us in fightings and slept tanks to stall on point to win fights and soloed healed with Ana before I usually get 50-75% unscoped accuracy I don't really scope in too often but when I do it usually hits. But I recently started playing her and I have the highest winrate with her I fell from mid gold to silver because trolls leavers toxicity but now that I'm playing her I've had so much success she literally puts out so much healing its stupid and throwing nano grenade at team and an enemy just wrecks the enemy and the sleeps can stall the enemies it's great I prefer Ana now over mercy.
BarelyStupid I've managed to get to 3216 with solo queuing as ana it's hard to get there, now I'm in platinum because yeah solo queuing. This ana is so damn bad, they're not utilising enough of what makes that hero the most powerful support in the game.

I cant win a game of comp because the people down here don't know how to use a mic and i try to support by playing reinhart. They are so stupid that they walk in front of the sheild as mercy or lucio and this one symetra main thinks he is the best at life because of his gold elims and i cant tell him that it doesn't matter because he refuses to use the voice chat and he just flames people who think he isn't the best or gold elims don't matter

Anyway, another good video, Sty. I like this analysis a lot better than your general Overwatch content. When you have something to focus on and talk about you're really good at pointing out specific errors and getting to the heart of a player's issues. I like this format a lot.
KallMegNeo it's more important for her to heal tanks. Pharah is hard to shoot. Time spent missing Pharah is time your tanks could be dying. The second healer can heal you or fly to health pack if Ana can't heal you at the time.
Yeah, a lot of people don’t know it, but the game is different in different regions. In fact, in the Philippines, Overwatch is basically a cross between Viva Piñata and GTA. It’s called Grand Theft Piñata.

benignProtagonist is absolutely right. If you aren't in the voice chat, your crippling yourself. Even if you don't have a mic, at least be in the channel. I'm on Xbox and in gold, too, and it can get very toxic, but just mute the a-holes. The more people in team chat, the more likely you are to win.
Love this series. I normally like to play Rein but nobody likes to play healer so I'm learning Ana atm. A lot of good feedback in this video , seeing some bad habits of my own in this video. It helps!

Widow is a valid dps by all means. Especially counters Pharah, Ana, Zenyatta.
It's just that you need good aim, which lower rank lacks usually.

God I'm an Ana main and seeing this person barely using nano and when they do it's pretty bad, missing sleep darts, and having really freaking high sensativity makes me wanna cry

As a support main at 2k, I am completely fucking flabergasted that this guy is 2.6k. Aside from the total lack of game sense, he literally threw the game twice with 30/45s left and was apparently so dumbfounded as to what happened that he needed sty to tell him? wtf
I think Sty is being way too generous when he said "I'm not going to say you threw the game" He may not have meant to throw the game but his piss-poor decision making is the reason they lost that game. If he just stayed in the backline and healed at the first choke., they would have won. Instead, with 30 sec left he decides to go commando and the opposing team predictably wipes them. Instead of learning from that mistake, he does it again on the final point with 45 sec remaining. I can't even wrap my head around why he couldn't watch his own video and see exactly how he was personally responsible for the L.

completely agree. you know, it's not like he made a minor mistake which ended up badly. he literally made the worst decision at the worst moment with the worst positioning possible. twice. I dont understand why sty didnt rip him apart once he went all commando in def, first choke. because he made 1-2 picks? while his whole team is dying? while he has ult rdy? as soon as he "flanked", I knew they will lose this.
negatyve yeah I'm climbing as Ana after picking her up because of my game sense and call outs. This guy is probably supposed to be in gold judging by this gameplay. No call outs, ass game sense, and wasted abilities. I'm currently at 2455 and probably 10x better. We need to switch SR
You're obviously not if you're in Gold. You're there for a reason. You may think you're '10x' better but chances are you're not.
I have two accounts which are both Master and only solo queue. 1 of them is a Support main and another is where I play anything else. You don't need dps to climb. The support account is higher than my dps anyway. And you don't need to be carried lmao.

I climbed 300SR last night by letting people have their stupid picks. I was just under 2500 (still plat weirdly) and ended the night just over 2700. You can make an off-hand comment about the pick being "interesting" but you're willing to give it a try. And you know what happens? People will change when they realise that it's not a good pick. At plat the game knowledge isn't 100% and getting annoyed with a lack of game knowledge is just silly. Education is a better tool than fury and my SR explosion has proved that.

Sombra is weak, I know this but others do not. Just saying "sombra's a little underpowered" is better than going "YO SOMBRA'S SHIT PICK SOMETHING ELSE!" Because creating an atmosphere of conflict is going to make your team resent you and not do what you want. In fact they're more likely to throw the game to make the sad bundle of weaponized autism even more annoyed.
***** i never say sombra is shit. If you have near perfect ain and you know how to flank, you can wreck snipers and supports, but most sombras I've seen in comp - in fact - only today 5 - had less than 1 hour and sometimes half an hour on sombra, so yeah, in their hands, sombra is SHIT.
I once met a Widowmaker with 1hr on Widow. Turns out she was a CS:GO semi-pro who could mark a target literally across the map. Playtime doesn't mean much and I'm always willing to give people a chance before I ask them to change.

Just wanna say that the OverAnalyzed series is really good. It's much better that some other coaching videos series on some other channels. Specifically I'm talking about Lone Hawk's Coach Hawk series. That dude is a good player and a good editor, but not a great teacher/coach. You are a much better teacher and much better at analyzing other people's footage. I get a lot more out of your series. Cheers!

Still think to stop the tank meta they should've hit Rein rather than D.va. No one talks about it but his shield is to powerful. Where as Winston's needs strengthening.
D.va still gets melted as she is now if there is either a Mei or Zarya on the other team.
Antony Gregory While Rein is a bit too strong, his Shield can easily melt with Junkrat, Soldier or Pharah. Also the Shield limits his movement. D.va can use her shiled with no consequence in movement. Is D.Va op? Not that much, but a bit. Is Rein op? Just in the way that he is hard to counter when he always is with his team.
denizu179 d.va cant block zarya, mei or explosions. So thats counterable.
You have to spend time to burn down that shield, considering sombra's use is minimal atm

God damn this video is triggering. This Ana has some major decision making problems. Holds off her ultimate for years and years on and spends it in the end in an extreamly bad situation. Misses most of his EASY sleep darts. Goes suddenly some random-ass flank mode and doesn't heal his team but tries to go DPS while whole his team wipes and you lose the 1st point mainly, MAINLY, due to your bad decision making. You could've been with your team and heal them and nanoboosted one of your teammates, but nope, you ended up doing nothing and let your team die.
So triggered.

I cried a little inside when I saw him over extend to try and DPS as Ana while his team was dying behind him. But you learn from your mistakes, almost all the knowledge I have in this game is the outcome of countless mistakes that I've made and still make.. Love the Over-Analyzed Series though, such a great idea & such good tips. Keep it up!

Sillylemon I'm in silver and I'm not trying to sound cocky but I've carried rein before and Orisa to keep us in fightings and slept tanks to stall on point to win fights and soloed healed with Ana before I usually get 50-75% unscoped accuracy I don't really scope in too often but when I do it usually hits. But I recently started playing her and I have the highest winrate with her I fell from mid gold to silver because trolls leavers toxicity but now that I'm playing her I've had so much success she literally puts out so much healing its stupid and throwing nano grenade at team and an enemy just wrecks the enemy and the sleeps can stall the enemies it's great I prefer Ana now over mercy.
BarelyStupid I've managed to get to 3216 with solo queuing as ana it's hard to get there, now I'm in platinum because yeah solo queuing. This ana is so damn bad, they're not utilising enough of what makes that hero the most powerful support in the game.

I cant win a game of comp because the people down here don't know how to use a mic and i try to support by playing reinhart. They are so stupid that they walk in front of the sheild as mercy or lucio and this one symetra main thinks he is the best at life because of his gold elims and i cant tell him that it doesn't matter because he refuses to use the voice chat and he just flames people who think he isn't the best or gold elims don't matter

KallMegNeo it's more important for her to heal tanks. Pharah is hard to shoot. Time spent missing Pharah is time your tanks could be dying. The second healer can heal you or fly to health pack if Ana can't heal you at the time.

benignProtagonist is absolutely right. If you aren't in the voice chat, your crippling yourself. Even if you don't have a mic, at least be in the channel. I'm on Xbox and in gold, too, and it can get very toxic, but just mute the a-holes. The more people in team chat, the more likely you are to win.
