How I placed my filter equipment with my 3D background to consider. Not saying it's the best or only method but what I came up with and worked great. Животные
Appreciate your authenticity in these videos - love an honest explanation!
Thank you very much. That's the approach I go for so glad to hear that comes across.
Awesome idea….the best way to test. Something is with a proper shiggling no doubt about it.😀😀👍👍
Haha.. only way to be sure. 😉😂
hey daniel thats a good solution , it aint going anywhere easily. nice and solid mate🙂👍
Thanks very much Jeff. Pretty pleased with the job.
Great idea mate 👌
Thank you bud.
Excellent video as always my friend. A lot of thought went into this.
Yes you definitely don't want to screw through the tank.
Sorry for the delay.. watching the grandkids
Thanks Chris. You know me, gotta tinker.
Hope the wee ones had fun.
Nice neat fix, looks great!!!
Thank you very much.
Nice job.
Thanks very much Larry.
Clever fix there, Daniel! 🙂👍
Thanks Tara. Not sure about clever or even the best solution but hopefully a method anyone can do if they need to hey.
@@DanielKeepingFish well I think if it's easy and it works well, it's clever! 🙂
@@TarasTankFriends haha.. I'll take it! And feel more clever. 😉
Great idea … but my eyes were drawn to the rainbows there looking good 👍
Thank you. The younger ones are the ones I brought back from the brink with the eSHa products if you remember. Super pleased they're doing great.
Yes i remember that esha does a great job i used it on my electric blue acara a while back
Great work. Can hardly tell that there are screws there. Severums are looking great by the way.
Thanks very much man. Yeah really loving the Sevs. Gotta be in my top five.
Very clever Mr DKF 😊
Thank you man. Sure other people will be able to come up with better solutions but I'm pretty pleased with it for now.
@@DanielKeepingFish and so you should be 😉
@johnmaude5065 thanks very much.
Ingenious fix tbh gj even if its as you said ghetto fix :D
Thank you. Yeah more ghetto than finess but does the job and that's the main thing hey. I try to make things accessible for anyone to do so hope that's what I did here.
I take it that it wasn't convenient to just mount to the side of the tank instead of the back of the tank? My tank is close enough to the wall that mounting the filter hoses to the back glass becomes a hassle so I just mount it to the left side glass near the back instead. Aesthetically, it's not a big deal since if you're using commercial filters, you're going to see the tubing regardless of where you have it (side or back glass).
I did that for a while bud but there were a few issues for me one of them being we have a lot of little people here and it worried me the pipes were too obvious and looked like something worth having a tug at with little hands. Also it didn't look great which did irritate me.
Dear Daniel:
I don’t know why I missed this, terrific video, as you uploaded it, nine days ago. I have clicked your, notification bell, but I don’t recall RUclips letting me know it was out there.
I have ordered two pair of electric blue acara cichlids (EBAC’s) (Andinoacara pulcher X Mikrogeophagus ramirezi). Although I’ve heard they are difficult to sex, at a young age, I did order young ones. But, the fantastic, pet store that placed the order does allow exchanges, within 30 days of purchase.
I hope to get EBAC’s to breed, in a 29-gallon tank. Do you have experience breeding this species? If so, can you give me any advice? I have heard they tend to dig, in the substrate. But, I hope they won’t do so, too badly, in a planted tank, with compost, topped with blasting grit (coal slag).
You did an amazing job, sorting your intake and out-take. Thank you for sharing this, great, how-to video.
All my best,
Sincerely,
E. J. Brinegar
