Bron averaged well over 30. Curry is the main reason they won the chip that year. Klay was barely an all-star. Draymond wasn’t an all-star just a bunch of role players and still won the chip. Also, Steph had an MCL sprain that was severe and yet he didn’t play as bad as LeBron did in 2011 when LeBron was healthy. Steph Curry: Has a individual season better than his unanimous mvp season and put his team in place to make the playoffs despite their injuries Max: The 2016 finals decided that Steph will never be a great player. James harden and Dame NEVER disappear like that
With all due respect, KD joined a 73 win team, a team that went to 2 straight finals and won 1, a team that has Stephen Curry won back to back MVP as one with a unanimous MVP. That team was really really good even without KD. Look at the team records when KD didn't play and Steph played and vice versa then talk about the impact.
without steph there would be no splash bros!!! without steph there would be no 73 win warriors team which attracted kevin durant. without steph there would be no kd in the warriors and no team in the west could stand up against lebron and kyrie. lebron would've had 7 rings and 7 finals mvps along with his accolades and numbers which would give him unfair advantage over jordan
actually i can argue steph helped his legacy bc lebrons cleveland win is the most iconic nba championship of recnt history and if lebron didnt beat a 73-9 team even though he might have more rings proabaly not 7 casue of injuries they wouldnt be as impressive as a 3-1 comeback

Similar situation with cavs n the 73 win warriors. That team was compromised with injuries, but they NEVER mention that when it's brought up. Only that their king came back from a 3/1 deficit. Look now, LeBron broke safety protocol but they are allowing him to play next game. If that isn't telling you something, nothing will.
6:15 SAS got Max here. Max kept saying KD was the reason warriors won against Lebron after he joined them but doesnt agree that KD and westbrook could beat the same team. Meaning that Steph isn't nothing. Steph DID hurt Lebron's legacy
Max is dogging Curry out like this because it’s more than likely the warriors are getting blown out tomorrow so he’s gonna look like such a genius and Curry is gonna look like a overrated player.
If Draymond haven't got suspended in the 2016 Finals for literally doing nothing, the Warriors could have got a three-peat. Instead, they lost and LeBron could have not won the Finals that season. Finals Draymond was actually better than Klay or sometimes Steph at one time.
The reason why is cuz he feels that the 2016 season is still hanging over Curry’s head. It’s still something that applies to Curry’s legacy today. Curry hasn’t had pure redemption from that, cuz he needed KD to win championships after losing that series, and he was never the “guy” to win the chip, which 2016 was that season for him to win being the guy with no questions asked. It’s a valid argument, but to be fair, on either side of the coin, there’s not a wrong answer. Curry could’ve been the potential GOAT after 2016 but he ended up losing that opportunity which hurts his legacy, but still, Curry’s legacy is amazing no matter which perspective you look at it.
@@ademalic7903 Warriors in 2019 could've won in 2019 or atleast forced a game 7 if it wasnt for klay going down in game 6, and steph was averaging 30.5 that series, he was THAT dude in that finals series. Also, after the warriors lost 2016, they didnt need KD, they needed to make small adjustments because they lost by 1 possesion. In fact, KD was only the icing on the cake more than anything, he got open looks because of Steph and Klay which made him more dangerous.
And what Max said about who-ever coming out of the West would have beaten Lebron is a dumb joke. In recent years, finals mvp was given to lebron or the player who could guard him well. (2014 Kawhi, 2015 Iggy) That's why Steph couldn't get it even once.
SAS is leaving out the context of KD joining the Warriors. In SAS case, you can technically say Iggy a lesser player to Steph; ruined LeBron's legacy by beating him 3 times and winning finals MVP. As it maybe true without all the context it still sounds silly...
SAS point makes sense though. Because the only reason GSW was in a position to get KD was because of Steph. The system was still tailored to Steph's game even with the addition of KD. Steph wasnt the best player but he was still the most important piece on the team. When he didn't play they didn't even look the same. Spacing was off and KD used a lot more isos. In there last season with KD they overused iso ball. That was part of the reason the clippers could take them to 7 games. KD wanted to show he was that guy and doing that made games closers than they had to be. Using Iguodola and Steph comparison doesn't work. One was and still is the focal point of an offense. While the other one was a reliable role player you could count on to make big plays and play defense.
Curry is the reason GS was a championship contender that attracted KD. If Dirk was able to beat LeBron and the loaded Heat, why couldn't LeBron beat GS ?

Look at the team records when KD didn't play and Steph played and vice versa then talk about the impact.

Max right always
This was a great segment I need the rest of it
Max's only argument - "I call it as I see it , I always update myself " and then he goes ahead and contradicts himself

What’s funny is that in 2015, no other player on the warriors averaged over 17 ppg (besides Steph). Curry should have been finals mvp in 2015. Iguodala won it by... defending Lebron well?? Bron averaged well over 30. Curry is the main reason they won the chip that year. Klay was barely an all-star. Draymond wasn’t an all-star just a bunch of role players and still won the chip.
What about 2013?
When Stephen Curry basically single handedly beat the nuggets in the first round. Nuggets were the 3rd seed while the warriors were the 6th. Second round he took the Spurs to 6 games. That same Spurs team almost beat Miami in 6 if Ray Allen didn’t hit that shot.
Wade and Bosh become underrated. LeBron did have a super team in Miami. Yet lost in 2011 against dirk and had a worse meltdown than Steph had in 2016.
Also, Steph had an MCL sprain that was severe and yet he didn’t play as bad as LeBron did in 2011 when LeBron was healthy.
So Curry already took the warriors to the playoffs without an all star or superstar (2013 and 2014) so he really doesn’t have anything else to prove.
Also, this year the warriors are like 2-7 without Curry. If he didn’t injure his tailbone they would most likely be 5th seed right now. Curry should be this years mvp. And the fact that without Curry this warriors team Is basically the same team last year that had one of the worst records in nba history is just amazing.

SAS is leaving out the context of KD joining the Warriors. In SAS case, you can technically say Iggy a lesser player to Steph; ruined LeBron's legacy by beating him 3 times and winning finals MVP. As it maybe true without all the context it still sounds silly...
Bruh, dude not even listening. I feel bad cause he's getting arrogant. Makes me not want to watch anymore

Both of their legacies are solidified whether your a fan of them or not... so it don’t matter
Also both are garbage
Other way around if anything. LeBron would be the clear 🐐 if the Cavs played the Rockets or OKC
LeBum is a failure in my book
LMAO, Cavs would've gotten swept either way.
@@magodtrick3166 what no 🤣
@D23 keep hating. I wanna see you make 10 straight finals and accomplish what he has 🤡
Lebron has never been close to the goat and will never be
imagine if curry is not in the warriors, can wariors get 3 chips
Max is so wrong about the comment of if Bron didn’t have Kyrie and KLove against any team that came out of the west 2015 he still would’ve lost. The Warriors played the Rockets in the WCF that year when it was just James by himself, 2015 Bron would’ve destroyed that Rockets team
