That see through Perspex is not a good idea your making the birds come for a drink and then subjecting them to a hazard to fly into They will see the water and fly right into it . Very bad idea and dare i say a bit cruel. Reflection pool is excellent but the sides NOOO. If your going to encourage birds to come to a reflection pool make it safe for them to do it not put hazards in the way just for a sake of a photo that isn't really how ethical photographers do things . No photo is ever worth harming birds

Great video! First time viewer and I just subscribed. I have a Nikon Z6II as well and have been getting into Bird Photography. I love the reflection pool Idea. I am looking forward to the next video where you show it in action. Any good tips on getting a pop bird blind?

Welcome aboard! There are lots of types of pop up hides. I've had two now which have both been the same. I like the combined chair and hide set up. I left my first permanently set up outside for about a year until I got my shed. (I would suggest doing this)

This is fabulous, thank you for sharing. I don't really have room in may garden but maybe I could squeeze in a smaller one.

I would think carefully a out making it any smaller. Without the length you may have to take photos at a steeper angle to avoid the front and this will mean the reflection won't be as good and you might see the bottom.
