This tiny farm is so inspiring! What an enterprising couple and such wise parents understanding the importance of healthy eating. It will serve them well over their lifetime. Fast food and processed food is making people so sick. I just lost my 45 year olde son to pancreatic cancer due to his family’s poor eating habits. He left an 8 year old and a 10 year old who were sure their Daddy hung the moon, the sun, and all the stars. His dad and I will never stop grieving either. Eat well, be healthy and you will be happy. Do whatever it takes like this family does. The earth will feed you well if you let it! They are wise beyond their years and I applaud them!
Steph is one of my very best friends and I love watching her and her family's journey!!! ❤️ Steph & Drew, you guys are doing amazing and this was a lovely telling of your story!
When you clean the tin in the shower area. Take car wax and wax the tin, let it haze up lke on a car and buff it off and repeat this about every 6 months and it will be easy just to take a towel and dry it off. The water and soap will bead up and run off and quickly become dry.

Yep these squash works as a mulch/ground over to help the corn and beans grow, the corn works as a trellis for the beans to grow up, and the beans help pull nutrients for the corn and squash. A whole synergistic cycle

Good Morning "Happy Sunday" This Family has Their Life Planned out Perfect for Them. Having Their own land and Beautiful Home. Doing what They need to do for a Awesome Life. Thanks for Sharing Enjoyed and Blessings 🙏❤️🥰😇 From Pennsylvania,USA
I was thinking…lol…’cause I do that…. It w/b interesting to connect the house and the bar and then have all that space. When both of the kids are older they are going to each need their own bedroom. They could be connected and then paint the tiny to ‘match’ the barn. Glad your pipes are heated now. It’s good to have water & it’s even better when they don’t burst. 😮

I'm at Tiny Estates and had no idea you could live tiny like this! I evn put off watching this because I assumed the microfarm was in Colorado or Utah...
Becareful with those heaters. We had them in our last house, and one caught on fire. Good thing we were home. We sold the place with the remaining ones in it, and the new owners had one catch on fire and good thing they were home. The company was pretty new then and terrible with customer service.
Funny you mention that, a few years ago one of ours started smoking and we freaked out. It turned out our daughter was randomly dropping q tips into the heater and that’s why they were smoking!
@@onceuponatinyfarm oh wow! Ours was a wire issues. Not sure what the owners that bought from us were. I think she was mad I didn’t mention it. Well I didn’t think of it.
@@Fairies00 we do notice sometimes after we turn it on for the first time in a while there’s a burning smell, but it usually goes away. It’s probably just dust and things that get down there, so we started covering the top of the heater with masking tape over the warmer months when we aren’t using it to limit the amount of dust particles that could get inside.

Its so nice to see a family living WITHIN their means for a change and what an amazing little plot/tiny farm you have. And debt free too, not many people can say that. If more councils/shires or whatever would loosen up and give folk permission to build smaller homes or tiny homes it would be a much nicer society..dont you think??? Why should people be made to live in debt to keep bureaucrats happy? Well done guys, and your kids look so happy too. One thing that worries me though was your 'berkie - burkie' sorry dont know that term, but it looks like a hot water urn, please watch your adventurous 2 yr old with that tap, having suffered burns as a child I would hate to think he could turn that tap on his face.
They had a couch but recently removed it to have more floor space for their kids to play downstairs. But a couch will definitely possible in the small barn home they’re building now! 😊
Our kids actually broke our couch about a week before they hey came to film us lol. Apparently our couch wasn’t supposed to be treated like a trampoline. 😂 The chair in the video was the chaise part of the couch that still worked fine and we actually store all of our clothing in it, it opens up for storage. We have a brand new couch for our barn that we’re excited to use.
It just infuriates me that you can “own” your own property and the city/county asshats can tell you what you can or cannot build. FO. Don’t tell me what square footage I can or cannot build!!!! 😡
Well, that's quite the assumption. 🙃 In the video, they share how they're finishing out a small barn home next to their tiny house to better meet their growing family's needs
We bought it from Scott Stewart from Slabtown Customs in Arkansas. We had a very bad experience with this builder that we could’ve spoken more about but we chose not to because I don’t like to focus on negativity like that. I don’t think he makes tiny homes anymore, and we looked into him a few months ago and saw that the Arkansas state attorney general was forcing him to pay back money to other tiny home buyers that gave him down payments and apparently never received a finished home. So we’re lucky we actually received ours because our story would have been very different otherwise.
Wow, you two are awesome people. I love the way your husband shared his gardening with us. Your tiny house is nice but good idea folks with the red barn.

Our barn is 12x20 and with 2 floors it’s close to 500 square feet which basically doubles the size of our tiny house. The extra width makes all the difference 👍
I can see why the Murphy bed wouldn’t work you would have to make something very sturdy for the woman to lay on as big as she is . Wow now he is a stay at home bum
