This man is an inspiration! I love how he describes why education is so important! We are vulnerable without it! I'm going to be delving into his work for the rest of my life now!
I am using his 8 hour course right now, and after only half of the lessons I feel I know more than an entire year of college classes had to teach me. No shit. He's a remarkable teacher.
I been listening to Michel Thomas recordings and the method is interesting taking the pressure off learning making it enjoyable and easier. I particularly found the comfortable seats interesting and the tension free style. This method I'm sure with technologies could be developed further. As was a cassette but now can be used in other ways brilliant!
I absolutely love this man. I am also aggrieved and disheartened to imagine that languages could have been taught in schools using his methods to great success. However, to the world's demise, the powers that be deemed jhis methods as unscaleabe. Alas, we collectively are forced to reckon with an unsuccessful, unproductive, non-intuitive, and dreadfully uninspiring form of language instruction we have today. What a privilege it must have been to learn from him directly. I only wish I could have learned of him much earlier in my life and language journey.
This dude is fully amazing. I never thought I could learn another Language but I now can speak Spanish ... I completed the Foundation and Advanced and Master and I have a very very good knowledge of the language. So much so I am about to Start a Modern Languages Degree ! I am now half way into the French and already have a great grasp of it :0) Thank you Michel Thomas and RIP
He means no memorization in the sense that people don't have to make an effort in trying to recolling every single word they learn. They just have to understand and apply! That's it!
hello, MT spanish course is very interesting but Vocabulary course is some how difficult but put into ur consideration that this is the only section spoken by native speakers, so you have to be patient . Also, I recommend two courses first, Pimsleur Spanish. Second, learning Spanish like crazy. They are very good and interactive course that help u increase ur vocab. Note that the second course is more intensive than the first . Good Luck!

I'm using his French totale right now. Good for either learning from scratch or refreshing old knowledge. Michel Thomas is a genius!

I didn't know Michel Thomas was such a badass, in addition to the best teacher ever.
