12 flights in the last 3 months and I have used soooo many of your travel hacks. Thank you so very much! I can now go on a 3 day trip with just a personal item. Huge cost savings!!
Oh wow, way to go!
Laurie, thanks for all your great ideas and videos. I recently returned from two weeks in Italy. I watched several of your videos prior to packing; they made a huge difference in my approach. Your practical, streamlined, thoughtful suggestions covered so much of what I had struggled with in the past and really offered me the direction that I needed. The best advice was "you will never see these people again"! The overall vibe where we explored was much more casual than in previous years. I felt prepared, appropriate and comfortable with all the choices that I made. Grazie!
Oh how beautiful and yummy! I miss it so! Yes, so glad the tips helped.
During the Summer of 2022, we went on a Viking ocean cruise and met two couples that live about 2 blocks away from us. Sometimes, it's a small world after all. We didn't know each other before the cruise.
I love hearing those types of travel stories!@@itouchten
I have the jewelry case and I love it. I've used just the little zipper pouch part as I mostly just wear small earrings. I wrapped my one necklace in a tissue so it wouldn't get tangled.
Great tip!
Hi! Thanks for the very helpful videos. Have enjoyed watching them to get ideas for our trip to Italy in March.
LOVE the Supergoop Glow Sunscreen. Good coverage, subtle glow and SPF!!!
I love that it is not greasy and a little goes a long way.
Thanks for sharing such great ideas from your wide experience!
I hope these ideas help on your next trip.
The printed cubes are a MUST-HAVE under the tree this year! 🎄😉 Love the list, Laurie!
Totally!
Awesome travel gift ideas! Thanks, Laurie.
I just had to say, I got really tickled when you were showing how to use the long handled spatula to decant lotion while dipping into the mustard bottle. It just tickled my funny bone! I decant nearly everything when the product gets to the point that it won't come out very well and there is still 1/3 cup or more in the container. That long handled spatula is SUPER handy!!!
I have had that thing for 2-3 years. I cannot let my essential lotion be thrown away!
Just great ideas, Laurie! And I gotta say…I would almost pay any amount of $$$$- and I am one stingy shopper! - to get the things I need when I travel in the tiniest, most usable sizes that exist…because I hate lugging the extra weight around! It bugs me no end that my electronics…as small as they are…STILL weigh so much! 💕
They do! I’m with you but understand budget minded too. 🎄✈️
I never used any kind of packing cubes before but your videos convinced me to try compression cubes so we'll see how that goes!
Oh it took me years to try them because my regular packing cubes were fine. Now I’ll never go back.
Hi! Enjoy your videos !
Hey, thanks!
The compression cubes and travel toiletry kit are in my Christmas list!
They are worth the investment. Did you see the Nat'l Park ones?
Thanks Laurie! I would definitely recommend the Cabeau pillow. After years of trying pillows and hating them, this one made a huge difference. In plane but also in the car when you are travelling for long hours. So good to rest your head ! Happy shopping travelers!
It is the only one I recommend for travel.
Trader Joe’s has a Supergoo sunscreen dupe for $8.99 1.7ounces (50ml) I use every day and love it.
Another dupe is Kroger invisible gel sunscreen SPF 40 3ounces is $11.99
Thanks!
Good to know. I wish there was one closer to me, its 40 minutes away
@@jilllovesbeegees70 sometimes it’s just worth a field trip!😁
I just subscribed!
My 21 year old just finished all his simulator classes and now he’s flying high with Envoy!
I already love love your channel!
Thanks for all the tips, tricks and hacks that are so very helpful, useful and appreciated.
Sending the happiest holiday wishes for you and your beautiful family 🙏🏻♥️
Oh how exciting!! Enjoy the journey and perks.
The AirPod case is super cute!! My brother would love that
I stare at it on the tray table lol.
Another fantastic travel “palette” is a stack from Subtl. The only thing you’d need to bring along with a customizable stack is mascara! I just did 3 weeks in Europe with a Subtl stack. Thanks for the great ideas!
Thanks for the info!
Great ideas! Don't forget that some of we viewers are not Apple fans. Please add some comparable Android products. Thanks! Always enjoy your videos!
Hi, I just do not know or understand Android things.
Awesome gift ideas
It is fun to buy stuff for travel to give people.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your advise to bring blue tape for traveling. I USED it at every AirBnB, especially for covering those BRIGHT RED/BLUE LED lights on TV’S and on other tech things and was on a portable A/c unit!
Thank you for talking about packing cubes. It worked great in my Big backpack. My backpack was so heavy for me. When I got to my destination, I thought I really had a bad injury in my back. Then I realized it was from carrying the heavy backpack for many hours through Rome Airport. Traveling back home, I had to buy a small suitcase. Using the cubes, which I had over stuffed in my backpack, did not work as well in my small suitcase. I think it’s because I had the cube over stuffed. I didn’t want to re-pack my suitcase. Next time I will test it out and not overstuff the cube for the small suitcase. I had all my clothes in the One Large cube. I did do laundry. I had use of laundry machines every day. I was so happy to always have clean clothes.
Most people in Sicily wore sneakers, even ladies in their dresses, no matter what age. I am so grateful that I brought a very thin lightweight backpack, to use daily when I went out for the day, to keep my water bottles, snacks and sweater. Many women wear leggings in Sicily, during the day and night. I brought 2 thin dresses and Never wore either.
I am so grateful I brought socks and long sleeve thin shirts, to layer for the airports and planes. I had on 6 layers of clothes. It was freezing on the plane. Coming home, we stopped in Amsterdam, I though my fingers and nose were going to fall off, they were so cold. on. I have a bad back, I am SO GLAD I brought my small pillow that fits in the small of my back. It worked perfectly. Sometimes I used it for my head and neck. I just got back. I traveled by myself for 1 month in Sicily.
Thanks for your tips! ✅✅✅✅
Wow what an amazing trip you had! I learn new packing tips after every trip. And I still learn something new to try every trip.
Thank you! Both of our sons and their girlfriends are extensive travelers, I'm always stumped for ideas for the young ladies. Last year, I did lightweight compression packing cubes, Vera travel blankets, and Vera vinyl lined makeup pouches for their carry-on bags.
Wonderful!
I have the first backpack and love it! Once I got used to all the pockets it's perfect. I even saw a flight attendant standing in a Starbucks line and she had the exact same ones in all black. Thanks for the tip about the Spatty! Definitely getting a couple of those!
They're so helpful!
Thank you so much for the tips. I love the AirPods case.
You are so welcome!
Great gift suggestions. Laurie! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Laurie, I've bought one of the backpacks on your recommendation and I love it! I did get a slightly larger one to accommodate my laptop, but I can still lay it down under my seat with no problem. And I love your method of stacking everything in the backpack with the least used items on the bottom. I also bought the tray table cover - so good! I love being able to get everything I need out at the beginning of the flight and I rarely have to go back into my personal item bag. Thank you for all your great tips!
Yes, love how close the pockets are! And glad the organization video helped!
I used screw top contact case for my moisturizer and foundation. I got the tip from one of your old videos. It lasted me 3 weeks on a recent trip and hardly took up any space.
Wow, I would not think they have enough room in those items. Yay!
This is great for Nov & Dec! Love, love, love your videos! :-)
Yay! Thank you!
Another great video Laurie, thank you ❤
Thanks so much!
Laurie since I began watching your channel I have learned so much & followed so many of your tips, like using compression cubes, GoToob & the “minion” containers, & how to pack the 3-1-1 bag. I’m glad to see that you like the Mophie/Apple triple 🎉charger; I’ve taken it on 3 trips to Europe in the past 18 mos. & highly recommend it to everyone w/an iPhone & Apple Watch.
Thank you as always for all of your tips & recommendations! They really help me pack smarter.
Yes, I invested in that trifold charger last Christmas.
Got a second hand cabeaux on EBay. Gave the cover a wash. Red eye from Newark to Dublin is about 5 hours. Best nights sleep on a flight I’ve ever had.
Yay!!
Thank you Laurie😊😊
When it comes to makeup, I bring my magnetic Sydney Grace palette and switch out a few of the colors as needed (it fits most round pans from other brands too!)
Yes, switching out only the colors you need helps with all of those magnetic colors out there.
Thanks Laurie!!!
You bet!
I’m planning a trip overseas in 2024 and I’m so glad I found your videos!
I am so glad!
Another fun video Laurie, thank you. It's a pity I've already bought myself so much of this, I'm putting together lists for online gift exchanges now!
Have fun!
I’ve been watching your videos to prepare for an international trip next year. I made a custom birthday/Christmas Amazon list based on your suggestions and shared it with my husband and sons. Thanks!
That is awesome!
Thanks again for another great video. I've got my list from your recommendations!
Yay!
Love your tips.. the best
Glad you like them!
Hello and I love your videos! Thanks for all your tips.
Glad you like them!
❤
THANK YOU ❣️
I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU ✝️ ❤️
Same to you!
Be careful with the compression bags. You can get a lot in them but if weight is an issue pay attention to that too
True-we never have had to consider weight thankfully.
That sunscreen is awesome
I do love it!
Great !!
Hope it gave you some ideas.
Love compression packing cubes! I ordered the State parks for my husband. I thought I’d have a better chance of convincing him to use them, and it worked!
Where do I go to find your packing list? We’re off to the Christmas markets in a Germany in less then 3 weeks 🧣🧤☃️🎄🤶🧑🎄
Oh how beautiful your trip will be. Sorry I missed this comment. Here is the packing list link: bit.ly/FreeUltimatePackingList

Thought of you while flying to Ireland two weeks ago. I was using your neck pillow. Love it. It is is long necks.
Was it just glorious being there??
I literally hopped on that deal on the jacket with straps. Been eyeing on it for awhile and it’s on sale 44% off - what a steal ! 😊
It's such a great jacket!
I got those little container things. I'm going to use them for my holiday next year
They save space but can hold alot.
fab vid as uaual
Thank you!
Thanks for all the great info! I have purchased a Level 8 carry on but now I'm on the hunt for a large soft side piece. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanx
Ooh I think I mentioned the soft-sided ones; maybe I left that part out. I walked into JCPenney last Christmas and found these two that were fantastic. I have to touch and test luggage in person: bit.ly/3QPZeGJ or bit.ly/3ms4Ium
Yes you did. I meant to ask for a large size 24" plus

Hi do you have a silk pillowcase you recommend? Love your videos
I love LILYSILK pillowcases AND they have some that are customizable: me.lilysilk.com/3rJj7Fr
Thank you!
Great gift and travel ideas. Looking forward to the upcoming videos. Laurie, have you made a video on what diabetics can take on board a plane? I did a quick check but didn't see any. I am newly diagnosed and need ice to keep insulin cold for an international flight. I checked Air Canada but I am not clear on what I am allowed to bring on the plane. Any advice would be very appreciated. Hugs from Canada.
Hi I have not made one. One travel hack is to use frozen grapes. I do not know Canada's rules for medicine. In the US frozen or warm ice pacs are allowed for liquid meds.
Thanks for the info.@@TravelTipsbyLaurie
I'm traveling to Ireland in June. The personal size item on Aer Lingus can only be 13" x 10" x 8. Any ideas of what to buy & how to pack a change of clothes & essentials?.
I absolutely enjoy your videos! Thanks
I do not know why in the world airlines are restricting personal item sizes. Sorry I do not know if any.
Is there a link for the Apple 3 piece charger??? Great ideas for presents...
Pooey I forgot to add that. Here it is: rstyle.me/+aG_THWtlYbp3IbBxnhlERA
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie thank you...
Neck pillows and blankets - do they need to be within your personal item or can they attach by carabiners? I keep seeing carabiners mentioned. Thanks!
Hi, I have heard that Spirit is now charging you for those accessories. Just read the fine print for your airline.
Great ideas Laurie! Can you post a link to the short sleeve navy shirt you are wearing with the green pants. I saw the outfit in a previous video, but cannot seem to locate it.
Hi, is it this by Talbots: bit.ly/3u1zJJq
Hi Laurie, I’ve been looking at the waterproof coat for a while, I normally am a small to medium but had to get a large in the Columbia sweater coat. Would you mind telling us what size you have? It looks to fit nicely. Thank you!!
Hi I’m a size 10 and the large is great-fitted but with room for a thick sweater
And I’m 5’8”
@@TravelTipsbyLauriethank you!
My husband needs a small daddy bag ? Any suggestions. Thanks
Hi, What about this one or does it need to be a tote: shoptripped.com/Laurie-Holiday23-Daypack-Grey
It needs to be small. For a tooth brush, razor, travel size shaving cream and deodorant. Everything is just to big for him
Okay, this is a liquids bag: amzn.to/3SVq3dM and this is a minimalist, waterproof, one side is deep and other is shallow toiletry kit: amzn.to/47C8Yde @@heidisweeney9581
My friend is the creator of drop stop! I have them in all my cars!
So helpful especially for phones! Tell them thank you!
@@TravelTipsbyLaurieI absolutely will! By the way my first trip in over 5 years was an absolute success!
That makes me so happy! What made it a success to you? @@suzannestone5050
Well I went to Canada for the first time, and I did so much and met my father’s paternal family for the first time. I also went to NY, which is where most of my family is from. The weather was perfect! Which I was grateful for since I’m a socal girlie. lol
I watched your videos and got a lot of what you and others recommended. Most items worked for me, but a few didn’t. But over all, if I didn’t have something, I bought it and if it didn’t work, no big deal either. Just went with the flow.
Did I miss the link for the large crossbody bag?
Ooh probably - here it is before I add it: amzn.to/4610U4v
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie Thank you 😊
The small little containers did leak out on me. Into my toiletries bag. It had my face wash. Fortunately I just washed it out and it dried fine and I had another face wash container.
Hi, thanks for letting me know. Mine still have not leaked on me. Tip: use really thick liquids only.
The link for the large crossbody bag is different to the one that Laurie holds up in the video. I am after the quilted one with the strap you can change however the one in the link doesn't have the option to change the strap. Can anyone share with me the link for the exact one Laurie holds up. Thanks
Hi Therese, it is the same brand. It's about 2 years old and they periodically change the look. It used to have a southwest strap too. But it's the same bag just not the outer part.
Are you allowed to go out your personal bag AND the blanket on top of the suitcase to go through Security and on the plane? Or, do you have to put the blanket inside….?
In security I would just have it clipped on one of the bags. But some airlines are now charging for the neck pillow or blanket…like I mentioned-Spirit etc
I ask this with the utmost respect, but I’m wondering why you wear jewelry when you travel on a plane? Is it necessary to wear a bunch of bracelets and big earrings? When I travel, I wear minimal jewelry for the reasons you stated: so I don’t set off the TSA alarms. At the most, my wedding ring, my watch and maybe small earrings. But I always pack my jewelry on my carry-on, so I don’t risk getting them stolen from my checked luggage. Again, just curious.
Hi, in the winter I do not wear alot of jewelry b/c of long sleeves. But in the summer I like to wear earrings and a couple of bracelets.
The T-shirt you have on!! ???
It is in the list💙
I thought of you the other day when I was cleaning out my husband's ditty bag and saw that he had cut a nail file in half just to save a little space.
Oh, smart hubby!!
the supergoop unseen sunscreen to me has a wierd sent. It smells like petroleum to me. So be careful if you are sensitive to smells. Go to a store and try it first.
Really? I can smell Vaseline but this sunscreen has zero smell to me which is one reason I love it. And not greasy woohoo!
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie I'm usually not particularly sensitive to scents but Unseen really bothers me. I switched to their Mineral Sheer Screen and notice no scent. It might be one of the chemicals in the Unseen since it is a "chemical" sunscreen. I might just be sensitive to it. I 've never had luck with chemical sunscreen, they've always irritated my skin and I still burned. My daughter suggested I'd try the Unseen. It didn't cause issues with my skin but the smell got to me. It did make my eyes water even though I didn't use it near the eyes.
Is the sunscreen you recommended reef safe?
Some destinations like Hawaii, Key West, Virgin Islands, Aruba and some parts of Mexico have banned sunscreens with reef damaging chemicals.
Hi I do not know, but do not get the oh I cannot find it so maybe they do not make it anymore. We went to Maui and had to have it, but for that excursion they never asked to see it. I think the sunscreen was Thinksport?@@viridian4573
