Edinburgh is Scotland's capital city. It's also home to three football stadiums:
    - Murrayfield - National Scottish Rugby Stadium
    - Tynecastle - Hearts of Midlothian Football Club
    - Easter Road - Hibernian Football Club
As well as looking around these stadiums in this video, I'll give you a tour of Edinburgh. We'll see the world famous Edinburgh castle and eat some haggis!

The Jinglin Geordie pub which you passed on Fleshmarket Close was one of George Bests locals when he played for Hibs.
One time he failed to turn up for a match against Ayr United because he was in an Edinburgh bar(possibly the JG) all night with a French rugby player and Debbie Harry!
Good video, look forwarding to seeing more of them

Agreed both clubs Crests are fantastic I would go so far to say
Hibernian's current Crest is one of
The very best in Europe only second in my view tothat of
Lokamotiv Moscow Hibernian have had lots of different Crests down though the years they have struggled with there Identity somewhat down though The centurys sometimes wanting to shy away from being associated with being an Irish Catholic club & wanting to be seen as a club representing The Leith district of Edinburgh & sometime the entire city at this time with there
Current club crest I feel they have got the balance right.
In Edinburgh in terms of both Hibernian & Hearts you have people how will support the club they live closest to but for others it's down to religion & politics whare in Glasgow it's all down to religion & Politics.
Hibernian are very expensive tickets wise Hearts have the cheaper ticket prices per game.
The owner of Hibernian Sir Tom Farmer is extremely tight fisted money wise & a very bitter Catholic
I ued to know someone that had worked for him in the past.

Hopefully you enjoyed your trip to
Auld Reekie home to in my personal view the 3 best stadiums in all of Scotland in terms of atmosphere
Heart of Midlothian F.C actually take there name from a dance club that in turn
    took it's name from
The Heart of Mid-Lothian a novel buy Sir Walter Scott the founders of Heart of Midlothian F.being members of the dance club originally how later went on to found the football club.
You should of also visted The War Memorial to McCrae's Battalion
that fought in the first World War
Formed as a Pals Battalion buy 16 Hearts players 150 Hibernian fans also joined The Battalion & 7 Raith Rovers players & a number of other players from various clubs in the East of Scotland but The Hearts players started it all in 1914
The Memorial is near Haymarket Station.
    Hibernian whare found in
The Cowgate from a Catholic Y.M.C.A buy a local Priest.
George Best had a spell as a Hibernian player.
Both Club always give young players
oppurtunitys to play & have very good youth teams & always play a very swashbuckling style of football that is pleaseing to the eye.
Hopefully in the future when fans are allowed back in to stadiums in Scotland you can take in a match of one or both of the Edinburgh clubs.
The Hearts club Anthem was actually
Wrighten buy a Saint Mirren fan.

Hi Alan, I always enjoy your comments and always learn something new! The fact I didn't visit the memorial gives me all the more reason to go back and film more content! When I'm able to do games/tours I'll include that in the video. They're certainly two big clubs and I can't wait to see them play. Thanks mate, more videos coming soon!

Honestly Atmosphere wise you cant knock both Edinburgh clubs.
Both have supporters club in Glasgow.
Hibernian are a bit more pricey ticket wise per game.
Always had a soft spot for Hearts more because of the name than anything else but always enjoyed watching both clubs play.

Tynecastle looks smaller than Easter Road because it's tucked in behind all the old buildings in Gorgie whereas the area around Easter Road is a little more open. I'd say from inside, Tynecastle is without a doubt the nicer stadium of the two. Very steep stands that sit right on top of the pitch, symmetry and consistency in the architecture, especially now with their new main stand.
Some of the stands in Easter Road have 2 tiers and I suppose it has a certain charm in that all the stands are a little different and mismatched. It has a nice "traditional" stadium feel with the external green support beams, but I suppose the outside is much easier to see than Tyencastle.
You should go back up for a visit when the stadium tours are back up and running so you can get a real idea of the clubs and their respective history.
I know you appreciate trivia, so here's a tidbit for you: Hearts have won more Edinburgh Derbies at both Tynecastle and Easter Road.

Actually, you’ll find that we owe Hibs thanks for supporting us in our formative years.
We used many of their players, so, have a wee look, the Hibs history is interesting.
Celtic were formed some 13 years after Hibs.
James Connolly was reputedly a Hibs fan bs k in the day too.
So, I wouldn’t call Hibs copycats, Penelope lol….
A lot of history there, being honest.

I’ve been to Edinburgh I pass Edinburgh City on the train and Hibernian FC (I’m not a fan of them) my first Scottish club I visited was Heart of Midlothian (my favourite Scottish Club my second Scottish club is Celtic FC reason why Heart FC was because at the time my mum was in Edinburgh for the day and I asked her for a joke to get me a Hearts FC shirt I was unable to be in Scotland as I was seeing a Sunderland game which we won against Wolverhampton Wanderers I got home to a Hearts FC Shirt which had a Lithuanian bank as its sponsor which went bust and was during the Romanov era he was a corrupt businessman who signed failed foreigners some of which succeeded and ended up in England but Thanks to Ann Budge they ended up on a revival I prefer Hearts FC over Hibernian FC
