EDINBURGH'S major sporting stadiums: MURRAYFIELD, TYNECASTLE PARK, EASTER ROAD | DJI Mini 3

- Whilst Edinburgh is known for its historic landmarks, the city is also a sporting destination and home to iconic stadiums.
Murrayfield, the home of Scottish Rugby has a capacity of 67,144, making it the 5th largest stadium in the UK by capacity. It was opened in 1925 and renovated in 1995 with its record capacity breaking 100,000 during the Five Nations match between Scotland and Wales in 1975. Nowadays, Murrayfield hosts all of Scotland Rugby's home fixtures as well as music concerts.
Tynecastle Park is the home of Heart of Midlothian FC, one of two Scottish Premiership football teams in Edinburgh. Opened in 1886, the stadium has a capacity of 19,852 and is situated in the Gorgie area of Edinburgh.
Easter Road, in the Leith area of Edinburgh is the home of Hibernian FC. It opened in 1893 and can hold 20,421 people. You can see the stadium from Arthur's Seat, a popular hike in the city. I had the pleasure of attending the Edinburgh Derby between Hibs and Hearts recently, in which Easter Road is shown in its very best light, you can find the video below.

Playing around with my new DJI Mini 3 with this video but also wanted to capture Edinburgh's sporting heritage and culture too. The city is home to some incredible stadiums from the huge Murrayfield to the intimate but raucous stadiums of Hearts and Hibs. Let me know below which ones you love to visit most?
At at over 64'000 seating capacity, Murrayfield Stadium is the largest stadium in Scotland. On a sidenote beside the grounds of the stadium is Murrayfield Ice Rink, home to the Edinburgh Capitals ice hockey club in the Scottish National League.

Perhaps, but Hibs are the only club in Scotland out with the Old Firm, to have ever had a league average attendance of over 30,000 for a season! (And I'm a Hearts shareholder! I suppose if I ever want to buy a packet of crisps, I could always sell them!)

The current biggest football club in scotland is Celtic park a bigger capacity of 60,411. Making it the Biggest stadium In Glasgow. The current biggest Stadium in Edinburgh is Hibernian (Easter Road) With an capacity of 20,411 while heart of Midlothian have a capacity of 19,852. The most rated stadium in Edinburgh is Easter Road. Tynecastle has 14.5 rank rating while Hibernian have an high rating of 20.3! The most rated stadium in Glasgow is Ofcourse . Celtic park with and massive rating of 99.9! while Ibrox only has 89.90. Thats all i have to say about Glasgow and Edinburgh.
