I agree with you 100%. I have shot raw since I moved to digital almost 20 years ago with one caveat. I first started shooting my sports work in raw but with the number of images I was trying to process and get to clients in a timely manner was taxing to say the least. Over the years I made a transition to shooting all my sports work in JPG. Using Nikon from the time I was in HS back in film days transitioning to digital, D3/D4 and now the Z8 I have been able to tweak my profile for jpg's accordingly with no issues whatsoever. On another note .. man I love the Z8, just wow!! I am waiting on the 180-600 to arrive (it is on back order) I cant wait to get out and do some really good wildlife/birding which is my second love! Would like to see a video on your tripod/gimble setup for your wildlife work if you dont have one! Keep up the good work and I am glad to see you are getting more subs!
Awesome thanks Toby, Yeah i realized the other day it's been 20 years shooting Nikon Digital this month, pretty crazy how the time flies. Yeah I couldn't agree more the Z8 is such an amazing and inspiring camera. I want to give that 180-600 a try to see if it' s worth upgrading from my 200-500 or just make the jump to the 600 6.3 . A tripod video is actually in the works. So will hopefully have that coming in the next few weeks. Cheers
