DECALCIFYING/DESCALE
is the same thing. Descaling your coffee machine is critical as the build up of limescale can reduce water flow, reduce capacity of the boiler and greatly restrict the transfer of heat

For the machine you’re using; it has a descale & rinse cycle. Why would you be using the water dispense? Nothing comes out the cappuccino dispense that way. Pretty sure the machine has those cycles for a reason.....

What do you do after the end of the rinsing cycle? It said to fill the water tank, so I did. Then when that was finished it still said fill water tank so I did. Then I pressed enter and the darn “decalcify”signal came on again. Now I’m stuck decalcifying again (this time just plain water). How do I get rid of the “decalcify” message? Please help. Thank you.

Lori Lazise your tank needs to run out of water to understand that the cycle is over. Then the decalcify cycle will end and you start rinsing cycle. Hopefully you’re not still decalcifying your machine today lol. If all that fails just turn the off switch. And turn back on after a few mins.

After decalcifying machine (running water completely out of tank) you have to reset the decalcify counter/alarm/alert via the menu under decalcify signal. That’s been my experience with my royal professional.

Complete nonsense, their is a Decalcifying program which you need to follow or the message “ Decalcify “ will not stop being displayed
