A tip for you, I use a Tevo Tornado with a0 6mm with .75mm walls or 0.8mm with 1mm 1mm walls. It reaaaaally improves the strength and still looks good at a .45

Great video Phil. So the reason for the SD, is because having many printer files on the card for some reason slows down the transfer of information from the card to the Arduino chip. I just know it works. Thanks for sharing that.

I have the opportunity to get an S8, NIB or $150. I am BRANDNEW to printing… is it worth it ?

I don't know what NIB is but the S8 is a good starter if you don't mind tinkering and are looking to learn the ins and outs of printing. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it was good enough to print my stormtrooper helmet.

What temperature settings did you use? Mine keeps stringing and warping no matter what temperature combination I use, and I can't figure out why.

Any updates, looking at purchasing this but not sure to get this or an ender 3 v2 for helmets. I know if i did ender 3 v2 id have to cut helmet in half to fit it on buildplate. To many good and bad things ive read about the sunlu s8

I've had no problems with it, just that the bed was a little tricky to get level. It was better after I printed some spacers that made the springs tighter. I printed a Stormtrooper helmet on it that I designed myself.

I do really like my E3 v2 though, it has a nicer UI and it's quieter.
