Teacher/Student. Father/Daughter. Serious/Carefree. The manipulative mastermind Doctor and the explosive loud-mouthed Ace up his sleeve. They're complete opposites in almost every way, and yet, their chemistry is off the charts, and their dynamic offers tonnes to enjoy. They've been my favourite TARDIS team since the 80s, so seeing them together one more time in Power of the Doctor was an automatic tear-jerker. Ace walked so that modern companions could run, and 7 is still the darkest Doc in Whostory.
They instantly clicked and remain friends to this day. Sharing the same birthday probably had much to do with it, it's a Leo thing especially even if the concept is daft
@@PhilDrury As a Leo myself, I concur. The sign-stuff is mostly coincidence, but sharing a job, a birthday, travelling together (etc) is just some of the many things that can help cement a good friendship.
People only citing Ace’s badass moments when talking about why she’s a great companion while ignoring Aldred’s fantastic performance, her story, and character depth is a real Whovian pet peeve of mine.
Gee. An entitled person having unreasonable &/or nonsensical expectations out of people, acting like workers are their slaves (referring to the parlor scene). Never heard that scenario before.

7 is darkest? 10 doesn't exist then?
The only companion who beat up a Dalek with a baseball bat and a frigging bazooka
And Cybermen with a slingshot.
Ace is truly ACE
real🙏
And the baseball bat scene was in Ian Chesterton's old classroom, too!
You can still tell she was the first (human) companion the Doctor thought would be worthy of studying as a Time Lord
Everyone else running away from daleks and Cybermen
Ace:Hold my boombox
I wish I grew up with Ace, because she seemed like one hell of a companion !
I stan ace so badd

Ace is Awesome 👌🏽 ❤. Love her !

Oh my god she’s like Jeff from earthbound I love that for her
Shes the best 😊
