- Lets setup and try out the Champion 22" 212cc 4-stroke gas garden tiller from. As of today 8/8/2023, Home Depot is having a massive sale marking this tiller down to $149! Is it a glitch in the system or is it an overstock situation? Who knows, but I bought one anyways.

Yesssirrr!!! I'm trying to find that deal you got! On Home Depot's website, they're talking more along the $499 range! Lol. Seriously though
@TheSHERIFFmrWCRP not sure why it so cheap at the time but I couldn't resist!
@@k6outdoors I feel that!
Great deal
Thanks for stopping in!
Some idiots post a video and do not even mention the price or the deal they get etc. Thanks for the great video sir.

Wow! Great deal. I just picked one up for $700 in Canada (Canadian Tire).
I picked one up a couple days ago and I put it together yesterday. I had a hard time getting one from my local HD, as it wouldn't;t ring up for the sale price of $149. There was nothing to indicate that it was an internet-only deal, so after 20 minutes of back and forth, the checker got permission to discount it and out the door we went. Well built and excellent machine for the price. Tractor Supply wants $649 for the same machine. Go figure. Thanks for the video.
Glad you got one home! Thanks for stopping in!
picked one up today. i also have the rattling noise but it works fine. mine may only get about 4 hours of run time per year so we will soee.
Congrats on the purchase, mine is still working well! Thanks for stopping in!
Smokin hot deal
So hot I couldnt resist buying one myself lol. Thanks for stopping in
Mine makes the same noise. Didn't see anything really loose so been just running it.
Same here and no issues! Thanks for stopping in
I bought this for $149 as well and the rear-tine for $179.00. Crazy deals!
Great deals! Thanks for stopping in
Hey man, why didn’t you tell me about this sweet deal?? 🤣🤣
Help! Brand new tiller from homedepot. Doesn't want to start. Checked and filled fluids and even went as far to replace the sparkplug, never started. Just clang when pulling the end of the string. Not too familiar with electrical. But did attemp simple spark tester and it shoed inconsistent spark. Maybe 1 every 20th pull? Rabbit, choke on, fuel on, pull nothing. Again brand new never used never started :(
I honestly wish I had more insight for you but if it's never firing something isn't right, maybe take it back to the store?
We just received ours and upon trying it for the first time, the hose under the pull cord on the right side, which connects to nothing, is pouring gasoline all over the unit and ground ... been on hold for an hour with customer service. any suggestions? I can see from your tiller that your hose is not connected to anything either.
Did you have any luck with customer support?
Ur so lucky I’m always looking for deals an found this deal but it got damaged on delivery .. i got a 700 wood chipper for 200 an the rototiller for 180 bucks but only kept the wood chipper then they stopped the deal
Thanks for stopping in
Hi, just open my Tiller. The wheels are unstable? Do you have any suggestions on how to balance them or maybe I did not assemble them correctly?
They are not solid mounted the kind of float, which is normal. Hope this helps and thanks for stopping in!
$149???
I thought I had a deal when I saw one for $649 (Canadian) now i checked this morning and apparently the "sale" is over and it's now $749.......
There was some crazy weird sale online! Thanks for stopping in
even in neutral not moving it has that same rattling sound
I have noticed the noise and took the cover off covering the drive belt and clutch. It seems like it is just bearing/ gear noise on the output shaft of the motor. Its working great so I am assuming it'll be fine.
I have the same tiller, had it for 2 years now. Bought it used at an estate sale for $300 Canadian, it had hardly been used. It starts good, lots of power and can dig deep. My only problem is (maybe it is my soil) it just wants to dig down and not pull itself ahead on it's own. It doesn't seem to matter how I set the wheel or the depth stake. It is like the drive system is so big and blunt, it can't pull that thru the soil. I have to keep wrestling the handlebars side to side to keep moving ahead, it gets awfully tiring. Has anyone else experienced this and come up with any solutions?
Just got mine but has a knocking sound on the left side of engine
I'm pretty sure what you are hearing is the rotation of the outdrive shaft what turns the tines
I put it together without you but it was great to see you do so I know I didn't fook up anything. I really don't understand the last part you put on the back because I haven't tilled anything in my life. I don't understand why the part has a screw and nut on it if it just sits there freely.
The black bar is used to control the depth of tilling. The further it is down the more it "grabs" the ground and makes it till deeper. I think the nut and bolt is to keep it from falling through. Thanks for stopping in!
Why are the wheels so loose? Seems odd. Why is there a bolt on the top of the depth regulator lever?
By design they seem to be made loose, the only thing I can think the bolt is for is to make sure it cant drop all the way through.
I just got one and have both of these questions.
just got mine and it bug like the power go up and down and after 2 min it die
Were you able to get this figured out?
Just got one from home Depot for the same price!
Awesome! Thanks for stopping in!
What is the simple means of doing it ??,
Buying from other countries
would you mind doing a close up sound video of what yours sounds like?
I can try and send you a private link to the video. It won't be a public post
I scooped up this deal also after seeing it posted in Brock’s Facebook group. I assembled it tonight and was concerned about the rattle in the engine, but yours sounded the same as mine, so I’m assuming it’s normal. Heck of a deal!
I was concerned about the rattle at first as well, but after more investigation I am 99% sure it is normal and is coming from the output shaft on the motor to the drive pully. It was a heck of a deal, and it also carries a 2 year warranty, so I am not to concerned about the noise! Thanks for stopping in and happy tilling!
LOL at the "anti-spill" Big Gubment regulated gas can. These things are a joke. We all know it. Practically every video I have even seen using these things (as well as my own personal experience with them) is the same.
They really are a joke for a fuel can! Thanks for stopping in!
It’s $599 currently. Yard Force is $149 currently.
Yep, prices are crazy! Thanks for stopping in!
I’m confused too….
i just got one for the same price.does yours make a loud rattling sound when running?
Mine does i thought it was broke but i can hear it on his unit also
