This is my 1st time watching this particular channel it's I watched the 2022 thunder ato tandra TRD pro debut. I will say that he did a great job of offering offering availabilities so to speak and going over the new features. Maybe to a point of fault because I feel like he Bixby is or may heaven is or may have been a Toyota salesman at some point and I almost fell asleep it was something they were doing on the side just about a slow day just to create some 2 channels of revenue so to speak but there's nothing wrong with that either so long as it's semi-transparent. Seems like a great truck and headed in the direction as all manufacturers are being guided, steered, and some realizling its Inevitable no matter how much all of us are going to hate it. Dial numbers don't lie though I'm not gonna argue with that pretty much a pretty soon the figure out a way to make it sound exactly the same as an built V8 if thats what the buyers want. I love Toyota just to be forthright with my review, of (a review which is weird)!!! Its all good so long as they stay super relaible, safe and somewhat "affordable"! Riveran's Truck looks pretty cool as well for all electric people ( at $75,000) starting plus whatever "Covid" markups will bring.

Love you and these reviews Joe. I will say this is a good looking truck, but I own a Powerboost and if I'm being honest, the 7.2 kw generator it came with is a complete game changer and every other F150 engine choice has some level if generator. I don't see a 110 outlet in the front seat to plug in a laptop. No massaging seats, no power tailgate, the list goes on and Ford also offers 4X4 Auto. Then Toyota completely eliminates the V8, which both Ford and GM still offer. I don't see them stealing any sales from the New Silverado Zr2 with front and rear lockers and a 6.2 liter V8 even if the Toyota is Quicker and the F150 is far too feature rich to lose any significant customer base to this truck, which in my opinion is still years behind.
That said, thank you for delivering the outstanding reviews. Can't get enough.

Tundra is like 500LBs heavier. Wont be faster. Ford will increase HP for 2022 anyway. Powerboost is quicker, and the battery pack under seat RUINED the Toyota

Your powerboost spec is going to be far more expensive than this TRD Pro. For the price, this offers good features. Although I understand the benefits of the generator, Toyota makes a smoother hybrid. Coming from a guy who almost bought a Powerboost this January.

    Summary of needed cosmetic changes
    - Ditch the hood badges
    - Remove the black wraps on both a-pillars
    - Kill off all of the digi-camo
    - Paint match the flares and tailgate.
The SR5 should not be the most attractive truck in the lineup. Make it happen Toyota.

I love the styling. I love most of these improvements inside and out. However, I disike the turbos and hybrid. I really wish they improved the V8 or at least give us that powertrain option with this body. I want to give it a thumbs up but I gotta give it a thumbs down. The lack of V8 guides me towards other dealerships in light of all these great improvements.

Great looking truck and love the interior. Unfortunately, the engine sounds like a typical V6 and lacks the enjoyment of hearing that V8. To many of us, part of the enjoyment of vehicles is the sound they make and we're coming to end of natural engine sounds from a V8, V10, or V12. Other than the engine sound, awesome truck!

I mean for towing that V8 that the Titan has and the older Tundra I mean they are just TQ monsters and they are very super smooth and can tow 9500lbs so I mean these new V6 engines can tow 12500 that is alot of capacity for a truck with v6 Turbo. But the engine will be working harder to achieve set desired goals as the older V8 sailed thru the hills with tow in the back so not sure. I mean for off-road I will say the V6 and twin turbo is plenty and with crawl control even better. But for towing and street brute driving I would say the V8 are still very reliable and are very smooth operators.

The odds that the hybrid battery, turbos, or timing system lasts 1,000,000 is slim and none. But I have no doubt the block will. Two battery replacements @ 2000 each, 4 timing chains, @ 1300 each and turbos??? at least one replacemect @ 2000-3000 dollars. So about $13000 minimum to get to 1million.
