I was on my way to work and was at a light and my Chevy Cruze 2018 shut off, I thought it was the auto stop feature but when I took my foot of the break it didn’t start back up. I shut it off and tried to start it again and it wouldn’t start back up. I had to get it towed home. When the tow truck driver got there it started for him but It was shaking like it wanted to die, he stepped on the gas to the floor and the tachometer would only go to 2-3 nothing higher. The next day I started it twice within 10 minutes and nothing seemed wrong but I checked the code and it was p1101, what do you think?
I’m having the same issue. 2014 121,000 miles. Just had my fuel system cleaned and it was running so much better for 2 days then my engine turned off again at a stop light. I was able to turn it back on but it had a hard time turning over.
Normally not too expansive maybe $120 for the new sensor if you don’t want to try and clean it. If you want to clean them both yourself it’s like $25 worth of chemicals
That is called Limp Mode. There is a problem, and the computer has shut down all unnecessary components and has limited speed. An OBDII scan tool is needed to scan the computer for codes, which will point to the problem.
If you haven't already got it fixed disconnect the battery and remove map, baro, maf, throttle body tube clean let air dry and reinstall just my 2 dollars plus might save you money

Air filter is always number check 1
Is it expensive to get a throttle body sensor and a mass air flow sensor fixed?

my moms Chevy cruze says engine power reduced, do you know what would help fix that?
