I know many students who graduated at 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 40 etc. Some people start college later in life for many reasons. Some take more than the average 4 years to get an undergrad because they change majors or they double majors. Take your time and make sure you choose what's right for you. There's no age limit to get your degree.

We homeschool, and instead of doing high-school level work, they decided to step it up a notch and just complete college-level courses which give you High School credit too. It's called a Dual-enrollment programm, and plenty of colleges do it. It's kind of sad to me more kids aren't encouraged to do this and get a jump start on life, or just take a breather before starting full-time work.

It isn't uncommon, the local high schools here actually have all their classes setup as dual credit, all graduates have an accociates degree when they graduate high school.

I don't understand why this makes news? I mean kudos to her for all that she has done but many people her age and younger complete college. I currently have a friend who's working on her bachelors degree and is 15 years old. More common than you think

At first I was like what’s so special about that because for some reason I thought high school met college and I thought this was a joke and then I realize that they were actually talking about college and not high school even though I read it as college and connect to the definition of college the high school for some reason.
