There you are again, Antonio with a beautiful rendering of ‘Pie Jesu.’ What a pleasure to listen again to you singing.
My first act (call it morning prayer) of the day, singing along with you.
Thanks for singing!
Thankyou Gerry :)
Hi everyone and welcome to another release. During our recent studio session in July we decided to revisit Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu. The version we originally posted was recorded 9 months earlier and we wanted to revisit this song whilst Antonio was still in his treble phase. We also recorded this as a duet with a friend of Antonio, which we will release later. I hope you enjoy the latest version and thanks for your continued support and encouragement of Antonio.
Look forward to the duet of Pie Jesu by Antonio and his friend.
Thank you for uploading your beautiful voice brought me great peace
Well done Antonio. Revisiting a previously recorded piece is often perilous but, you make it seem progressive. Building on the previous rendition you build in character, gusto and feeling. Another comments on Anthony Way which I too second, there is good then excellent you now take the latter accolade. Can't wait for the duet version which is highly prized for this piece in choral circle. 🔟🔟➕✔️🌞
Thanks Paul, I appreciate the compliment :) I have listened to a number of Anthony Way's recordings, he was a great treble.
Beautiful !
Thank you!
Sublime treble and outstanding vocal control, Antonio! Very well done!
I like both the previous one and this new one!
Thankyou Saki! I hope its cooled off a bit in Japan!

I have in several previous comments mentioned that your Pie Jesu rendition was my favorite among all Antonio. This update really takes it to another level of perfection. My mum found this in the morning, and we have listened to this over 20 times since then! I also look forward to the duet of Pie Jesu coming up. You might've heard the Charlotte Church's version which is also a duet, I like that as well. Also, these recent revisits to your previous pieces are really interesting to listen to.
Hi TIBU, yes I've heard the Charlotte Church version and its great. Say hello to your Mum for me :) I'm glad she enjoys my singing.
Antonio.....please preserve your beautiful voice for us to enjoy. I sung soprano and performed in the Tabernacle choir of Salt Lake Cit in 1981. Most enjoyable and challenging time. My Dad made cassettes of my performances. Andrew Loyd Webber came out with a VHS of the St. Mark's cathedral performance and I feel in love with his rendition of Requium. Let me know if you are gonna crowd source for a CD. Best Wishes!
Thankyou Mark :) That would have been great to sing with a great choir. There are no choirs like that where I live, so I just sing by myself. There are some adult choirs, but I can't sing as a member, but I have been an invited soloist :) My parents are looking into me recording an album, but its a bit tricky right now because many of our state and territory borders are closed due to Covid outbreaks. We are actually in lockdown now and I am back to home learning :( I think crowd sourcing is a great idea and my parents are looking into that too. It would be great to get more subscribers from the US, so any help in spreading the word would be much appreciated :)
Hi Mark, you might like to check out my crowdfunding campaign that has just launched, essentially its like pre-sales for the album - igg.me/at/antonio-album
He’s amazing!!!!
Thanks for the support. BTW Antonio loves vegemite sandwiches too :-)
Antonio has a very proud Grandma who speaks so highly and proud, as I can see why. Keep going because one day you’ll make it BIG with that voice
This really is a very beautiful piece! Well sung, Antonio!!! As a Polyglot and Classics and Religion major myself, I'm definitely very partial to the Latin words. I like other languages as well. But simultaneously Latin is super cool when it's sung. It's truly beautiful. Keep up with the Latin theme.
My USI college chamber choir did Jubilate Deo in 2016, which is another beautiful song. But simultaneously it's impossible without a group of singers. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks Nathaneal :) I'd say my Abuelo is a polyglot, he speaks many languages . I only learn Spanish, but I am planning on learning more languages. I do like Latin too :)
@@AntonioMusic that's cool. I just know that the younger you start the easier it can be done. I was home schooled, so I was able to teach myself quite a bit as a kid.
I started to study Koine Greek at 11 and now I'm 24 and very good at it. Hebrew began for me at 13, and was able to sing in Jerusalem once at age 17.
I've studied Latin, German, and Russian as well. I've sung songs in them all, but simultaneously I've also studied the grammar and vocabulary words as well.
If you are interested in taking your studies further, definitely think about the idea of taking some more of the languages further than the music alone.
You never know what doors it could open. It's something to ponder and think about.
👍👍👍
Heavenly voice beautiful
Wow, thank you
So beautiful. Your top notes are simply soaring!
@Mathew Todd That was exactly what I was going to say. I love Antonio's breath control and flowing legato too. A lovely performance.
Thanks Matt :)
@@bahoonies Thank Damien, I'm finding it much easier as my technique has improved :)
