    hello. I have a question about the pz26 carburetor. By turning the screw for adjusting the mixture, i.e. turning it to the right, we set the mixture to be poorer in fuel?

    Decent video but why the hell put music over the top.

      If you prefer it without the music I can do that for future videos just thought the video would be abit boring without some sort of background

      Id much rather a narrative than music.

    Hey man, mabe you can help me.
    When riding in leveled straits, above 7000rpm with stable speed, i get this strange hicups... but in all other conditions, like accelerating, climbing, it works perfectly. Even works fine in the same range of RPM with the motorcycle pulling, like in climbs.
    I already cleaned the carb, checked the vacum system for leaks, replaced vacuum pump and nothing solves the problem...
    I have a sym xs125 with a pz27 carb, very basic.
    Anything i should try? Or anything i should have made different during cleaning?

    I ordered a carburettor from eBay and they didn't send the item with the little c clip that holds the needle, so now I have 2 brand new carby but unfortunately no way to control the throttle

    Does the choke have to be completely open when it starts and then close when it is warm, so that it is half open? I've adjusted a lot and it only works when it's all open. when I turn it to the middle, it goes off again

    • @nottosuretbh7417
      @nottosuretbh7417  3 года назад +1

      Sorry I've only just seen this , if it's a cold start it's easiest to have the choke fully closed so there's no air flow but once started some bikes need it on middle for the engine to warm up then after that it should fully open so all the air can flow through if your putting it on middle and it is cutting out then its not getting enough air so will need to be fully open I hope that helped although its been 3 weeks

    What should be float level/height on this carb?

    • @nottosuretbh7417
      @nottosuretbh7417  2 года назад +1

      Sorry man I honestly don’t know been a very long time since I worked on one of these carbs I hope you find the answer somewhere

    • @Filip_Bubanja
      @Filip_Bubanja 2 года назад

      @@nottosuretbh7417 found it :) If someone search, it should be 14mm from the carbburetor body (from gasket surface) to the top top of the float when closed. Should be measured at the front part of the float (closest to engine side).
