Future reference when welding something make sure you completely remove any rust or dirt or paint. Make sure that sucker is spotless and shiny

Stick a small couple of magnets on the valve and push socket over top valve wedges stick to magnet 🧲 stick a tightly rolled rag under valve to stop it moving out job done no need for tool take them out or to put them back in

hello. I have a question about the pz26 carburetor. By turning the screw for adjusting the mixture, i.e. turning it to the right, we set the mixture to be poorer in fuel?

Hey man, mabe you can help me. When riding in leveled straits, above 7000rpm with stable speed, i get this strange hicups... but in all other conditions, like accelerating, climbing, it works perfectly. Even works fine in the same range of RPM with the motorcycle pulling, like in climbs. I already cleaned the carb, checked the vacum system for leaks, replaced vacuum pump and nothing solves the problem... I have a sym xs125 with a pz27 carb, very basic. Anything i should try? Or anything i should have made different during cleaning?

I ordered a carburettor from eBay and they didn't send the item with the little c clip that holds the needle, so now I have 2 brand new carby but unfortunately no way to control the throttle

thanks man, more info about my carb which i can clean now and hopen i get it sorted as it runs fine but random times it dies and even when going in neutral, it just dies on me when riding.

What should be float level/height on this carb?

Hi, is there a bearing between conrod and piston, I could only see the underneath of the piston briefly, but no sign of a bearing?

You skipped the main part i needed to see lol coz im going to put new head and piston , rings on mine so didn't see how u took all the top off with chain etc

Does the choke have to be completely open when it starts and then close when it is warm, so that it is half open? I've adjusted a lot and it only works when it's all open. when I turn it to the middle, it goes off again

If your going to be doing a lot of respraying it think a cheap gazebo would be a good investment. It will keep the bugs away a fair bit and might give better results.
