thanks for another great video. the shuguang is one of the worst tubes ive heard sounds blurry. here the telefunken sounds a lot better more clear and defined but considering the rarity and price to my opinion it's a huge waste of money. if youre gonna go nos for guitar amps you can get much better results for less money with the holy grails: old mullards brimars rca's and GE's. ive seen some people use tele's on v1 on angry marshalls in order to tame the amp ,it sounds great but i can do the same with a GE for less money. telefunkens are the holy grail for audiophiles that wants the most detail with no color whatsoever, almost like solid state so it can sound dry ,sterile or bright in some circuits.
The Telefunken tube, by far. Warmer, fuller tone.
most definitely

The most overlooked great vintage 12AX7 tubes are Sylvania and Tung-Sol tall plates, these are great tubes that can be had for very reasonable
Telefunken, cleaner, clearer..
ni
most definitely
$200 for vintage tubes and 0$ for microphones. Id buy a microphone and cheap tube for money better spent
