In years past I have voted probably 95% along the lines of the Republican Party. I have never believed in voting along party lines. The republicans were conservative and espoused values important to America. I have always voted for the person and his or her values regardless of party affiliation. I have become so dismayed with the two major parties and for this reason I am now registered as an independent. Since Trump has come on the scene, the Republican Party for the most part has shown themselves to lying cowards who care more about their own political and personal wellbeing that they are willing to throw the constitution and anyone who dares to stand up and speak out when Donald Trump commits his habitual criminal acts. The Republicans in Washington are literally trying to throw federal agents under the bus to protect a man who has shown time and time again that he is a incorrigible criminal. He can’t help but lie, cheat and steal. If he touches something it becomes a toxic situation. As much as I despise the warped and perverse leanings of the Democratic Party, I despise even more the fact that the Republican Party is made up of weak minions more willing to throw this country under the bus than stand up to one man, we all know they fear and hate. To the republicans I say, get some backbone, show some courage, assess yourselves and see just how corrupt you have become as a party. Long before the king baby was a factor in politics, I listened to an interview with Lindsey Graham. He sounded like a very reasonable, and intelligent guy. Today, I wouldn't trust him to speak on behalf of the local waste water treatment plant. All these years in government, and he destroys himself over a leper! Geezus!
Over the years Graham has become addicted to being a US senator. His only plan, his only goal in life, is to stay a senator. When he was Cain's pal, life was easy, as he could find and crawl into the center positions of a not so radical party caucus, knowing that he was in a groove for party support and re-election. In the Trump era, all of that is out the window. He had to become the most loyal of followers, signing on to the biggest pile of nonsense ever required of him. Does he know the dynamics of all this? Sure he does. He'd look you straight in the eye and claim the sun rises in the West if that was the party line of the day. Today, he is switching around, contradicting himself, sounding like a crazy, because with Trump clearly loosing control slowly over the party, and being even more insane as time passes and Trump's misconducts are unfolded, Graham does not have a clear direction to a political safe harbor. He is terrified that he'll side with Trump and get roped in with a crowd of MAGA defendants when the long arm of the law wraps around them, or stand against Trump's Last Stand, and be targeted for electoral challenge in his next election, branded disloyal - the worst, maybe only, sin in his present fascist universe.
He's already committed enough crime on his own to be held accountable with that crowd. Nice phone call after all his years of being in office was all it took. Georgia is going to ream him a new one over that.

The real question "did donnie have classified documents or not?". The obvious answer is yes. The possession of those documents is a crime.

I'm an independent voter. I like some things that the Democrats do to some things that the Republicans do. But to be honest with you, since John McCain passed away, the Republican party isn't what it used to be and I find it very very hard to find anything that I can agree with them anymore.
