  • The concept for a 4th dimension coaster dates back to well before initial designs for such a thing came out. In 2002, roller coaster manufacturer Arrow Dynamics would debut X2 alongside Six Flags Magic Mountain, the world’s first 4th dimension roller coaster. But lots had been happening behind the scenes to make this happen. Let's meet the newest member, Dinoconda!

I've ridden both Eejanaika and Dinoconda and I found Dinoconda to be way more intense than Eejanaika, even though Eejanaika is already very intense. Also, some of the elements are profiled better on Dinoconda, such as the overbank, which actually gives crazy laterals, unlike Eejanaika's. Overall, Dinoconda is my number 1 coaster.

The engineering of 4D free spinning coasters is so interesting to me and I hope and pray you get to experience this in the future🇨🇳🙏🏻 And all hail Alan Schilke🐐

Hahaha it’s not smooth at all. It thrashes the hell out of you. I just rode this 2 weeks ago. Here’s my review:
I’ve been on X2 at Magic Mountain a few times and that was always among my favorite rides anywhere. This thing is equally insane, but unfortunately I think it’s also equally rough. It’s bearable if you keep your head firmly planted into the headrest. Don’t try to hold your head forward as some of those very jerky rotations will give you a chiropractic adjustment you didn’t ask for. Still, this is a can’t-miss ride for any thrill seeker. The opening sequence is one of the coolest experiences you can have on a coaster. The last Raven turn and zero-G roll are unfortunately pretty painful no matter what you do.

These are my favorite coasters. X2 is my#1 coaster. These are insane. Nothing compares to them in my opinion. I have x2 ranked above steel vengeance or anything else

Ik it has 3 track inversions, but how many times does Dinoconda flip the riders upside down?

I had an idea a few years ago based on a similar 4 rail system, but instead of the rails moving up and down they moved laterally, which would cause the chassis to spin. I think it would be useful to have specific parts of a ride face the rider a certain way as opposed to the randomness of a spinning coaster.

It is in a sense - by having the most rollercoasters per park in the world. In terms of quality and significance, indeed not quite.
