😢😢 From ❤
I agree. It gets some good play on Classic rock stations, but it never got the attention or praise I think it deserves.
EL&P songs reminds me of times in my past that were almost like dreams. Did it all really happen? Yes. It did. R.I.P Greg and Keith.
I miss those guys. Their music was ahead of their time.
I've had a few beers tonight, :) i was there with my dad, big time ELP fan, we were perched in front of the stage by Keith, it absolutely blew my mind, first time i had ever saw them - and to watch my dads face was priceless, also got to meet Carl Palmer in Pontypridd the year later, a stone's throw from my home town, RIP Keith Emerson & Greg Lake.
Way ahead of the game and they certainly played it well... let me clarify. Utmost astonishing for a three member band. Unbelievable 😂that is how it is done and no sugar coating. ELP leaves a phenomenal legacy to which no one out there can beat the best, only follow as a good teacher and fore father 🎉I truly miss the trio of all time. Love ❤
Couldn't agree with you more, well said amazing musicians.
Saludos de España!❤❤❤
Great performance. RIP Greg and Keith. You guys were such an historical and memorable band.
This music brings a tear to my eyes every time I hear it. RIP
Geniuses of their craft and instruments. Innovators. Sad to think, only 6 years later, two of these talents would no longer be with us. May they play eternally.
Greg Lake - One of the greatest acoustic guitarists in rock history...
Thank you Greg, you were a gift to us.
The Finial Gig of the classic band, what a beautiful send off.
Monumental. Timeless. Soulful. RIP Greg & Keith
Monumental! One of the kind! No band like them ever! Thank you for the magic you have brought onto our lives! RIP, dear Emerson and Lake!
The phrasing on Keith's solo.....man that's just gold.
Maybe l might have changed and not been so cruel not been such a fool...awe inspiring, magical...just beautiful.❤
Everyday, yet mystical
Thanks for this!
Greg's voice is as good as ever in this timeless song.
Such beautiful music. Real artists.
One of my all time favorite songs. Never get tired of it.
I got to see them in '77. No opening acts(s). I was just ELP for nearly 3 hours. One of the best concerts ever.
Did you see them with the orchestra? That was probably my favorite single band concert.
What performance and performers...they were like breathing fresh air...this us how it feels...From the Beginning is one of those special, cosmic and intemporal songs that you keep deep in your soul...my gratitude for Keith,Greg and Carl is inmense.Carl is alive, well and kicking and beating his kit with the energy of a teenager and the wisdom of a seasoned musician..I wish a long and happy life mr Palmer..keep on rockin'
One of the greatest rock songs of all time. A classic.
This song is beautiful, it makes me want to cry!!!!!!
Love Emerson's restraint in his solo.
How beautiful to remember those times where the light seemed to shine brighter. This music always touchin my soul
Part of my teenage life in the 1970s. So happy classic rock was there as I grew up. Geeze don't know young folks get into pop these days???
Pop is garbage. We had it made!
I didn’t appreciate their music back in the day. At least now I can
Beautiful melodies
I was lucky enough to spend many hours with them over the years.
Very Nice. Thanks
E.L&P fueron de los Grandes Maestros de la Música del Siglo XX..Honor.Respeto y Gloria ..
ELP IS A OUTSTANDING BAND
🌟Long Live Emerson, Lake & Palmer🌟
Always loved them...always will.
Semplicemente inimitabili!
Best Song Ever!
Legends treasures
40 ans que cette musique m'accompagne...Merci.
Masterpiece …
Fantastic
Not a week goes by that I don't listen to ELP at some time. (Which is amazing from such a frustratingly small catalogue!) I've loved their sound for almost 50 years now. Such genius.
I was there, right at the front opposite Keith Emerson 👍
What a wonderful experience ❤️
@@kathyscoppettuolo4203 It was indeed. Keith Emerson is buried about 6 miles from where I live…
This song reminds me of the 70-80'
Love it!!!!
It's a Passage to Go Through Life, with a Relationship Ending On The Rocks. Like Jackson Browne's 'Late For The Sky', you know it's Over, but you're Still in the Soup. Good Grief, was it all 'Wasted Time'..?? Nah, it was Destiny. You were Meant to Be Here, 'From the Beginning'...
Meravigliosa....e loro...musicisti eccezionali
wonderful - ELP
❤️🎼🎤I love Greg Lake😔🌼🌈
Check out his autobiography "Lucky Man." It's amazing.
They truly honed their craft
And now it is!

Ancora tutti e tre insieme....🙏👏👍
You got that right!
Temazo
Emocionante
Masters of 20th c. music, they stand right beside the greats whose work they re-created. In fact, I believe their Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, and Copeland are all better than the original works. We can only hope their influence is felt for a long, long time to come. When I first introduced ELP to my daughter (who is a musician), she was astonished: "Palmer played TIMPANI???!!! What other rock drummers dared play timpani?" 🤣
e' bellissima!
Meravigliosa 👄👄
i wonder who really composed this wonderful song ... Greg or Keith
i love Greg and his guitar still i like so much the piano overture of Keith in this occasion
Greg
@@lisamoroney3036 thank you very much
Break’s my heart seeing Greg in the shape he is in I guess you can call it the Elvis syndrome or the cancer so sad 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

........need I say more
Tony Caravaggio Karn Evil 9
Am I right in thinking this was their last show?
They have some Awesome music is it true that Keith took his own life ???
Yes. He shot himself. Awful loss.
Better than the original
I guess this music made it as far as Georgia, huh?
recorded with a cellphone? ugh
Who’s playing bass?
Nobody.
Bad Mr Emerson, with him fingers full of arthritis..., every body prefers something more humble and dignity way ...sad, and decadence
you fucking kidding me? is that greg lake?!!!
Yup
Was...
I'm sure he was diabetic, and died of a heart attack. Keith Emerson died the same year, 2016, and he didn't look unhealthy?
Greg was batteling cancer for many years is what I heard@@davidstokes4630
@@davidstokes4630 Greg died of pancreatic cancer. Keith shot himself.
Shame Greg didnt exercise/eat healthy to keep himself fit and healthy - like Palmer. He might been alive today
Grandioso el grande ziempre ❤❤
Wonderful
