I agree. It gets some good play on Classic rock stations, but it never got the attention or praise I think it deserves.

I've had a few beers tonight, :) i was there with my dad, big time ELP fan, we were perched in front of the stage by Keith, it absolutely blew my mind, first time i had ever saw them - and to watch my dads face was priceless, also got to meet Carl Palmer in Pontypridd the year later, a stone's throw from my home town, RIP Keith Emerson & Greg Lake.

Way ahead of the game and they certainly played it well... let me clarify. Utmost astonishing for a three member band. Unbelievable 😂that is how it is done and no sugar coating. ELP leaves a phenomenal legacy to which no one out there can beat the best, only follow as a good teacher and fore father 🎉I truly miss the trio of all time. Love ❤

Masters of 20th c. music, they stand right beside the greats whose work they re-created. In fact, I believe their Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, and Copeland are all better than the original works. We can only hope their influence is felt for a long, long time to come. When I first introduced ELP to my daughter (who is a musician), she was astonished: "Palmer played TIMPANI???!!! What other rock drummers dared play timpani?" 🤣
