- The year was 2008, and a shocking crime unfolded that sent shockwaves throughout the entire country of Jamaica. On that fateful Sunday, July 20th, Jamaicans woke up to a bewildering realization-the beach in Trelawny had vanished, stolen right from under their noses. The audacity and mysterious nature of this incident left the nation perplexed, and to this day, the truth remains elusive.

One politician must know something
To say the least, the sitting government had to have colluded.
The workers that removed the sand with trucks, etc, had to have gotten paid for work done.
What employer did they worked for?!
Never heard of this before, thanks for this information of our Country, keep up the good work 👍🏽👍🏽
Audly shaw said head is going roll, but when they realize who involve it was swept under the carpet . Just like the stuff them from the confrence center
Thank you. It was covered up for a reason. Corruption is everywhere, no surprise unfortunately!
Hey Alex ,thank you always for your information. I did not know this.Someone must know about it. This is crazy. Have a blessed day 🙏🏽 ✨ 🕊❤
Alex thank you for always Shearing these interesting information that we know nothing about thank again 👍👍
Corruption in Jamaica is overwhelming. I wonder how the beach look now after 15years
Wow. Still scratching my head.
The truth will come out 1 day.
Big. Up. Alex. Good. Work 🇯🇲✌🏿
Wow!!??? I wonder what was the value of the sand stolen! You did not mention that in your narration. Could this happen again? Several persons were involved...no one person could do this. Does this give reason for all beaches to not be public or free? My thought is that if the government controls them and this happens...then we know who to blame. Right now, if this beach was a free, public beach a caan anybody. Get my drift?

Elite Jamaica 🇯🇲 Sir you are so informative you should be 1:55 the number one News Reader ❤🎉I love what you’re doing you sound like someone who has lived in the Uk 🇬🇧 Bless.
This is unbelievable!! It is my first time hearing this and I am a Jamaican living overseas! This was truly a big cover up that to this day no one is found liable for such a brazen act 25 years later.
The JLP govt at the time knew exactly where the sand went and also who was in charge of the operation.
Yet another example of greed and selfishness. So, some people profit and make money from something that is collectively owned by the people of Jamaica.
And I am sure is not poor people. They are not permitted to benefit from our natural resources.
People will always reap what they sow.
What about Cashew Walk district in West Prosoect St Catherine
This is soooo disgraceful. Didn’t know this. 🙏❤️
It is a wound. They wounded our country ..
Intriguing indeed, how did they manage to steal the beach without disturbing. The community 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

This happened in my home country as well, Somalia.
There is a black market, no doubt about it.
