Love the fact you avoid sharing any spoilers, had to close out on some reviews because they were showcasing new stuff not seen in trailers.
I recommend yall play DD1 just to get a feel and see if you'll like the type of game that it is its discounted for like 5$ right now. I can already see a lot of people complaining about the game not knowing what to do or where to go. The game really doesn't hold your hand you're gonna get lost its gonna get frustrating shit is going to fuck you up.

In relation to the stamina issue if its anything like the first one yes its annoying until you figure out you can carry some mushrooms that are cheap to buy or easy to collect in the world. Theres literaly a shortcut button to replenish stamina and i for one appreciate the lack of hand holding as i prefer the sence of acomplishment when i figure out something myself instead of the route being painted in yellow.

As a DD1 fan I have alot of gripes with this game. It's way too short and way too small. In vernwurth it was fine things were going at a good pace. The moment you get to the second area the game just throws away previous characters and stories and just rushes you to the end. They showed off everything in trailers, the colossus is the second last boss and they showed everything about that boss. They left no secrets to discover. It just feels like the devs just wanted to be done with this project they just didn't want to develop it anymore they just wanted to be done

If the Pawn system is similar to DDDA, then main pawns from your friends list should be free.
Not sure if they changed how it worked, but it does help save on rift crystals.

For fast travel shouldn’t there be Portcrystals that you place?
I managed to hitch a ride on a royal looking cart (not an ox cart) into the desert area and immediately got attacked once I got out. Whooped the enemies, and couldn't get back through the gate. So I had to walk around the entire map just to get back to Vernworth 🤦🏿♂️😂😂
How important is coordination with your main pawn? I really want my pawn to be a mage, but I plan to play a thief so having them be a tanky fighter would probably help me more.
Coordination can sometimes make or break your fights so if they service you better as a fighter for your given playstyle switch it up!

Every time I see concerns over fast travel and replayability, I get extremely curious if portcrystals that can be placed over multiple playthroughs are making a comeback. I LOVED that system for expanding options and adding tons of rewarding value to new game plus files so I really am more excited for confirmation of its return to any other system from dd1.

The first one is much better. I played and replayed the first one numerous times.
However this one is weird with the controls and look of it. Almost get dizzy from the camera angles. It feels incomplete like it’s should be in beta testing.
There is fast travel you use ferrystones you get to pick where you fast travel to you create the waypoints

The mix of fun and serious makes you very pleasant to listen to! It’s not that over the top trying to be funny youtube thing.. it’s great. Mix that with the fact that you approach games from a consumer standpoint. instead of a professional reviewer standpoint! Makes it feel genuine! I dont sub to many channels! But you earned it! I made my main pawn a ginger dwarf wizard named Siegfried. I’m hoping to see some other dwarves wandering about.
The one thing I hate in ALL GAMES, are Stamina, Mana, or Power. It never does anything for the game other than hold you back. But I will still give this game a try, I just hope it’s not that big of an issue.
Been waiting for 12½ years for this baby.! But if it's anything like the original, Portcrystals are how you teleport. They're limited but can be found, placed, and picked up if you want to move it somewhere else.

Looks like stamina will agian be an annoyance. I was hoping stamina wouldn't be used while running since its used so much during fights and the map is huge.
Its already mostly bad on steam and not even for the poor performence.

Been a while since tbh been this hype for a game instant cop. I’m most hyped about npc quest where if someone you have to rescue dies the whole camp changes how they interact with you
There's always been fast travel in Dragon's Dogma, there's stones you find that helps you fast travel. I'm assuming it's the same for this one. It sucks because you usually find them during the main quest but if it's open world who knows if most people will find em.
Are you able to have multiple save files in this game? I would like run mutliple builds
Your not locked to one vocation you can switch between them as much as you like so feel free to play multiple build in one play through

Despite the 30Fps which I don’t care about it, The game looks seriously Smooth and good, and knowing Capcom I’m pretty sure it’s the same engine as the RE series so it shouldn’t be much of a problem for me
A game in 2024 that drops below 30fps consistently is completely unacceptable and frankly unfinished no matter how good the game is. Hard pass.

It depends on what platform you’re on. From my experience it sits between 30-40 most of the time unless you’re in a big city.
Is anyone else struggling with a super huge glitch? if you die and press retry the game will slowly lower your grey health every time you retry until either you have to immediately go to camp and stop whatever mission or you get completely soft locked because the game keeps respawning you with 1 hp where anything can kill you, idk if it’s intentional but i’m really disappointed

Excited for this, but the fact that when you slice at and stab an enemy, there's just blood splatter animation with no visible damage on he models. An outrageous nitpick, sure. But it's just very noticeable.

If it's like the original, when running, if you press the run button just as you're about to run out of stamina, it will automatically refill your whole stamina bar.

"Werewolf Creature" is probably an ogre. They did look a bit like big werewolves in the first game.

The only issues i see are stanima consumption outside of combat,and maybe the fps issue but tbh if its stable on console thats what most people care about.

From what i have seen of it the game looks great. MY only thing I dislike is the mixed vocations shown so far. I just wanted one that was like a enhanced version of warrior or such. Honestly give me my berserker or such. The mixed vocations I saw look fine but they all seem just martail mixed with magic instead of mixing non magical jobs and doing a mixed vocation that way. Mixing archer and theif, archer and fighter/warrior, theif and warrior and so on. Just be nice instead of "hey we added magic to it now." >.>

There is fast travel, you just need to buy ferry stones (which cost a full set of human balls tbh). It was like that in the first game too (doesn't bother me), yet I'm only hearing people compain about it now?
Dragon's Dogma is the only game I know where getting jumped on the regular is a part of the experience. Glad to see it hasn't changed.

Great on console apparently, abysmal on pc cuz i’m running a rtx 4070 ti and I still get huge frame drops when i’m in the city which is extremely annoying since i’m tryna buy and find quests, but fighting n gameplay is great, some other guy apparently had a 4090 n it was worse for him

Yeah so only issue I have with this game is how it saved so I can have 3 hours of progress lost to go back into an inn that I didn't have all the stuff if all my NPCs died and I reach a boss is just too much for me by myself with what I have. Other than that you don't have to be forced to use microtransactions in the frame rate isn't really that bad besides the shity save options it's a pretty good game. I have a Xbox version for sale for $60 right now

So many people were glad there is a lack offast travel. They said it ruined the game, because they like to explore. I for the life of me can't understand why they can't simply not use the feature they don't like, but a bunch of people don't want it unfortunately. I can't stand gamers who complain to not have things other people like when they could just not use it.
