Nana is so underated--yet so talented, beautiful sounds!
To me the two people who most embodied the spirit of what we came to believe in the sixties, so innocent and so completely naive, were Donovan and Melanie. I'm old now, and yes cynical, but every now and then I return to that time and I listen to the two of them, see the light shining from their faces, and wonder just how much further away we can possibly get.

I am blown away by this version of colors. I had never heard of Nana before and I been into folk music since the 60',s. Donovan is in a class of his own and so is she. Bravo.

Had the great luck to see Nana Mouskouri in concert in 1969. I had never heard of her til then. She was absolutely lovely.

I was looking for Donavan & Baez on stage, with no luck. THIS version may be better than what I was looking for. Heard it in movie Festival shown on TV over holiday. The film only showed the crowd, not them on stage. I have long had the Donovan album but not as duet on this song.

I think of Donovan as a flower child, gentle and pastoral, quite unlike Bob Dylan. This is not to detract from Bob Dylan's special strengths as singer-songwriter.

Nana is magnificent in her own right, and doesn't need to be classified as anyone else. Anyway, she is not at all like Edith who has a bold edge to her singing, while Nana has a soft sweetness. Nana like Edith? Rien de rien. Both are great but not alike.
