Thanks Mike, glad to be keeping you company mate, I remember the slog of shifts, particularly nights. When you retire, and get cracking with the hobby, you’ll wonder how you fitted work in 😂 Thanks for watching😉
Great work and looking forward to seeing them painted. Think you might of had a bad batch and the guys with separate arms and weapons are the first set of Americans they did. Great work Chris 😁👍
Cheers for watching mate, yes I think you’re right, they did take some cleaning up, most others I’ve done have never been so much work. Painting is going to be challenging, my visions not great close up now, particularly with the tumours effect. Hopefully it’ll improve when I get it treated but still on a waiting list at the moment. Just going to have to take my time and slowly batch paint them I guess.Looking forward to seeing your next solo game report mate 😉
Did you find the new plastic weapons team a better match for the plastic box sets? I've found the metals often look smaller. I have assembled a Brit Para force that has sat for nearly a year unpainted. I usually do a section at a time so seeing the full force laid out is intimidating.
Size wise, I would say they are more of a match to the box sets, well kind of, but I wouldn’t say they were any closer to the crisp look of the box sets. They still have the look of the metal ones. Passable once painted though. Yes, I must admit, I’m a bit daunted by the amount of figures I have waiting for paint this year. The trouble is my brain tumour has effected my vision a little and close work does tend to give me headaches, but hopefully when I get closer to the top of the waiting list and go in for treatment I might see some improvement. Until then I’ll just plug away slowly. Thanks for watching mate😉

New armies are always exciting. I hope they serve you well! :)
Yes these have been waiting for some time now, so it’s good to finally be getting them into shape. Cheers for watching mate😉
