    what an extremely cool project. A project like this is really interesting to me. seeing engines rebuilt not so exciting. Looks like you turned the cummins into a Cat. ahah . The colors you got going on look really nice. Super awesome.

      well our mothers are sisters we went to the same grade school in the same high school all is just a little bit younger than me but we grew up doing the same things it seemed like Paul was always on my heels he’s always been a good kid I love watching how far he’s come we shared some great uncles together they taught us a lot of cool stuff🏁😊

    I found the exact same ParaBeam headlight on eBay. I am using mine as a extra driving light on the front bumper of my 49 Austin a40 Countryman. If you check yours under the nickel plating they should be solid brass headlight rings as mine is?
    They are originally from a 1928 Nash.

    Very cool truck! Try adding your acid to some hot water. It works faster and better. Also neutralize the acid with baking soda and water. My dream truck is a 41 Willys!

    LOVE this truck. Did you consider shortening the rear frame a bit, or did you want the long wheelbase look, or do you have a mini sleeper to go on it? Mom is a damn fine documentary photographer. And a damn good sport. Happy Birthday. I've had way too many of them too, and I can just conk right out like that just about every day. Love your projects. And skills.

    That Dodge your building is BadAss... are you really going to couple the two diffs together? You don't really need to do you? You just need a shaft in between so it looks like it's coupled..

    The only problem I see is that these videos capture the process but the timeline is distorted. We the "watchers" get the impression all you do is wave your magic hands and poof... hours and hours later you have created another masterpiece. "Can you get this done by the end of the week?" "How much money do you have?". ;)

    That's an awesome project. I'm an trucker so I really appreciate this build. I seen something similar cruising through Missouri pulling a fifth wheel camper across I-70. It was low to the ground with stacks and, well from across the highway, looked like a show quality paint job. It was only a single axle pick up close to the same year as yours. It was going the other way so really only got a good glance at it. It sure looked sharp as hell coming at ya. On a side note, I guess I need to start drinking more often so I can feel a little younger. Haha

    We used Muriatic acid to clean fire places that had been smoked up on the upper part of the brick , worked well on that rust also !

    I saw Bret at Half Ass Garage modify the lights on his 37 hot rod and he put the turn signals in the headlights , they worked well and looked great .

    found your channel through Paul gotta say I love your collection of trucks your yellow tow truck is killer would love to see a video on it and your golf cart that thing rips when you took Michelle for a ride would love to see the inner workings of that unit as well! I have a yamaha g2 and a kubota d1105 engine and a polaris 500 predator 4x4 chassis with the drive units I would like to combine together

    The cab , hood, fenders,running boards, and radiator shell all look great together and we haven't even talked about the roof insert and headlights.

    Merlin where did you get a lot of your old shop tools from and did I see an old SUN Distributor Machine in the corner of your shop. Years ago I worked in an auto repair shop and we had one. Can't wait to see this finished. Another FabRats fan. Oh and I love your KW big tow truck. What is under the hood and what is the gear box?
