This is so random, but out of all the powder measuring cups I've used, I love the Oxiclean measuring cup the best. I find it to be the most ergonomic out of all the ones I've used. Great video as always! Love this channel.
@@thecleanpsycho yeah I've collected three of them to use for my Powdered detergent, Biz, and Oxiclean which I store in acrylic airtight containers. I really don't like the measuring cups that usually come with Tide, Gain, Arm & Hammer, etc. They feel awkward to me.
haha I'm so particular I've got my 'favorite' scoop that i keep moving to the new container... I feel like the oxiclean was is way oversized for the amount I need and just wastes it. Easier to add 2 scoops if needed.
I always use the Costco's Oxiclean max performance/max efficiency powder definitely gets the job more well done than the regular Oxiclean powder, costco never disappoints me as always 🙌.
I love these videos. Especially since I'm going be on my own and in college soon, it's nice to know what to spend time and money on that will clean my clothes best.
True...as stated, where's the effing scoop? Even though its a buck, compared to the regular scoop with Oxyiclean, you have to use wayyy more of the cheap stuff!
Hello. New sub here. I love you're going through different products and even comparing the dollar store brands. Here is my request. I am clean freak with whites. Simply I can't stand a dingy or even tarnished sock. Kids love to run around with their white socks and there is NOTHING in the market, no method I tried that removes the stains and their bring back their shine. This is what I tried... From best to nothing 1. Zote and cleaning board (it is ruining them adding holes) 2. Oxiclean dollar store overnight soak hot water. Some times adding hydrogen peroxide to increase the oxygen power 3. Oxiclean max brand name pre treatment. 4. Soak overnight with dawn I refuse to use chlorine... So that's my challenge/suggestion. Get some white socks really dirty and show us your technics ✌️ Thanks for the content
I love the oxy clean by true living(very inexpensive and can only be purchased at dollar general). Hot water set stains, so i normally soak in cold water first then proceed to wash in desired temperature. I make my own baby laundry detergent and use the oxy clean to soak cloth diapers and baby clothing in cold water, then wash. This usually does the trick with stains. Wonder if the outcome would be the same or better if soaked in cold water first?
That’s a very good question because I honestly have no clue. I’ve watched a couple videos where some people have said they use between double and triple the amount of the dollar store version to get the same results as the oxiclean. See years ago the dollar store version came in a 32 OZ container so it was worth it for the price but since it’s all downsized to 15 OZ per container, it might not be justified.
Yes the smell is nice, but I personally just want my clothes to smell clean or like nothing so, I tend to buy the dollar store one more often but I do keep 1 tub of the name brand Oxiclean around just in case. Thanks for commenting.
Yeah I agree, sometimes I look back over my videos and think I might have been a little harsh, but yeah I still get the dollar store one from time to time because it definitely is a solid laundry booster with detergent.
I understand that the hotter the temperature, the better it is at fighting stains, but I chose warm because some fabrics aren’t supposed to be washed in hot water & in my experience warm does a pretty solid job by itself, but that’s just my washer machine.
I'm not a fan of the pods but I've tried their oxyclean powdered version and the All version, original seems to be the best stain fighter though from my experience.

Much appreciated, I see what you mean though about the OxiClean cup because it is a little better than others.

I didn't get a scoop so how much is a scoop
@@cindyhiner6971shouldn't cost a lot given they always included in every box of OxiClean. Then again, I guess it would depend where you get it from.

I'm not surprised at all. The dollar tree version is okay in a pinch but you often times have to use more of it to get similar results.

Thank you for doing this experiment. I think it’s about time for me to stop being cheap and just buy the oxi clean

My question would be; how much of the dollerstore version would you need, to harbor the same results you get it from the oxiclean brand?

I would buy the OxiClean just for that wonderful smell, love love 💕 love it

Thank You!!! ❤❤❤ 🎉🎉🎉
I'd like to see u do dollar general brand oxi I think it's truvalue ..vs oxiclean
If you dont reallt stain much the dollar tree one is just fine but great video

Can you please make a video reviewing Method laundry detergent?
Sure
Yay 😊
This is not oxygen based bleach,it is detergent based stain release agent
You suppose to use hot water it works better beleve me

True you need to use hot water
@@thecleanpsycho that is a fair adjustment IMHO, I dont wash my wifes clothes in hot water either, warm is the highest it goes usually cool.
HOT WATER
Let's try the Oxiclean pods vs the Kroger Oxy pods.
I’ve never heard of the OxiClean pods before.
@@markdrewson9551 I tried the kroger oxy pods. They're pretty good.

GOT TO HAVE DETERGENT together w/ any oxy product...oxy not meant to work alone.
Thank you for the video!
Soaks at least Overnight
I think thats why the cheaper is cheaper!...
I can't hear u at all u talk too low
No because the damn music is too loud 😖
