I love how the ads try to market the game as a “realistic strategy game” yet the actual gameplay isn’t much different from other mobile “strategy” games
The funny thing is that Warpath actually is a strategy game. The reviewer just didn't cover that aspect of the game because it only exists PvP and requires you to actually get into the game. Your troops exist on the map and you control your troops in real time. Other players can attack your troops directly as they travel, there is an entire aspect where slow moving troops can get out maneuvered by faster ones. But all the pay to win aspects are just as bad as other games, they honestly ruined a pretty decent rts with microtransactions.
In this game you DON'T loose resources when your base is destroyed, you simply get your based kicked around like a can but DOESN'T delay your progress upon defeat.
I’m level 22 and haven’t spent any real money. I do however find myself getting hammered by a random clan that marches all the way across the map to kill me. Can’t do nothin because they got 800K power. Other than that it’s somewhat fun.

Came here specifically because that advert video hit so hard. Real talk though, whoever directed that did an amazing job. It also sorta shows how much these games make of that's the kinda shiz they can afford. Like, Hollywood quality, decent acting, special effects, insane set work? This company is banking.
When you actually play RTS games on pc these mobile games really can’t compare. Overall you pay less money and usually have more fun. The biggest problem is your hardware requirements and for those of you not willing to buy a computer I’d say go with those games that have been converted to mobile versions like company of heros.
@@Sana_H depends on your genre and how new of a game do you want to play. I’ve been playing a lot of Iron Harvest which is a lot of fun. If you want a gold standard grand strategy in space try stellaris. There’s also upcoming games like company of hero’s 3 to watch for.

Most of these "games" are just reskins of the same treadmill, where they change the names of the basic resources then give you the exact activities designed to force you to spend money or wait multiple days for 1 upgrade. Honestly at first I didn't even realize that it was an ad for a mobile game. I was over the moon to see an ad like this, I am a nerd when it comes to ww2 stuff, but then the damn warpath logo at the end hit me like a ton of bricks and I screamed into my pillow.

Update on my war path ads, they’ve made hundreds of ads which just are just plain and stupid or just straight sexual, and their ads are like “WhO eVeRy HaS tHe MoSt PoWeR cAn HaVe SeX wItH mE” or makes tanks/planes that are straight strange and won’t work like a Pershing hull and a Sherman turret which has rocket launchers on it which is covered in sandbags and has floats as well
Ive been playing Warpath for 2 years now and got alot to say about this. If you played Mobile Strike (I havent) than you will find Warpath boring since you already played something similar to it. Me in the other hand loved it since this is an new type of game I have never played before. Warpath used to call Ravens the Germans once but since they basically calling Germans the bad guys and putting back Nazi Germany and there are alot of Germans playing Warpath it gets bad reviews of it and gets hated on. So they had to call it "Ravens". You can avoid whales by joining weaker alliances. You will rarely encounter them. Me as an f2p is in an whale alliance for p2s benefits since they help me alot and I get patriot gifts whenever someone in my alliance buys something with real money. (Good rewards) or using the new update to migrate to an earlier server, Also you got your base destroyed at 145k power? Damn those people in your server are either too desperate for kills or they just toxic. Normally you dont kill weaklings like 145k power. I would say an good power to kill is 20M+ because they give you good rank units so you can flex people with. If you flex rank 1-4 kills you will get laughed at lol
I didn’t have such a bad experience. But I admit, I think they truly go to the dark side when they introduce the Air Force- then you will have to coin hard to have a decent Air Force day 1. Love the game, I do, but I see it coming.

It is the best build a base game I have played. Treat it like an instant messenger, except you can always kill the top players. There is alot of coordination with your alliance, when you attack.The point is to swarm the top players in an enemy alliance, so they can't attack for the next couple of hours.
To be fair, it’s been a year since the game started. To me it’s way more fun and entertaining providing a better experience for people like me who don’t want to spend money on different game items. Sure there still is those whales who spend millions of dollars on this game, but it allows players who don’t want to pay-to-win play.

I have not spent a penny on this game, played for near two months, am at lvl 26, every alliance I enter kicks me out and I can't do a thing but wait for higher ups to attack me.
War path said I not pay to win, even though when you open the game it tries to get you to buy a bundle or something, some of the bundles let you get VERY OP tanks and soilders and stuff.
I just hate the one that goes “There are 3 tactics in warpath…” “1. is Guerilla Warfare” When you can’t do barely anything described in the ads, it makes it so aggravating.
Just like heckfire dont play that game, it had multiple game breaking bugs, people loosing thousands of dollars and not even able to get it refunded, if you got it refunded then your store is locked plus you are shadow banned when requesting ingame help support
If you've seen clash of clans... Late game stuff take a week MINIMUM and uses your WHOLE storage worth of resources for a single bomb trap. Lilith games are way better in terms of f2p availability. In afk arena the highest campaign stage is taken by a p2w but second place is a f2p

I joined the game 4 days ago on a server that was just as new as i was and i’ve already surpassed 1million power without spending a single real life dollar, i’m keeping up with the pay2win big dogs pretty decently if i say so myself
Half of what I watch on RUclips is WW2 and scale modeling content, so you can imagine how many ads I get about this game. Finally caved and downloaded it yesterday, the cartoonishness and "Raven" just put me off and I deleted it after 15 min. Despite the shitty ads AFK Arena is pretty fun though, I've been playing it for close to 2 years now and spent a total of maybe 20 bucks. You can never keep up with the whales in PvP, but every other aspect of the game is very F2P friendly.
I hate some of the ads from this game since they get the tanks wrong and call a panzer 4 f2 a tiger… I mean if your gonna call it historically accurate at least get the names right.
My buddies and I have been playing for a while now and we’re having fun! Though it’s a Royale pain to upgrade buildings and especially researching but my power is about 2.75mil with only spending a buck on the game. Would recommend with friends and a active alliance.

I've played rise of kingdoms for quite some time and after watching this review warpath is very similar. They might get a bad rap cause of the ads but they're great games. Rise of kingdoms got me hooked playing for all day and night. It's genuinely one of the best mobile games ever. At least it has the potential to be. The biggest problem is that they're pay to win. Sure u can still succeed as free to play but there's no way u can compete with those players in events or even war. There's even a term for Big spenders which is whales and every alliance ries to have a few.

@@PurpleStreak Well for starters it's important to state that rok (rise of kingdoms) is very different from clash of clans and other similar games and I'll explain why in a bit. Although it may look like it, its way deeper. Before I get to why rok is so great I also have to state some negatives : Pay to win. although u can still have a lot of fun and have a big role in the game the reality is there are some things u just can't compete with pay to win players. That is power. For example in events its almost impossible for a free to play to win however like I said if ur active in the game u can still reach decent power. Time requirement. Being successful in rok means u have to devote some time to it. U can't stop playing and come back a week later since the kingdom has a steady timeline and ull fall back with other players. However this is mostly true for the start as in late game things sort of slow down a bit. Begginer knowledge. I feel like it's hard for begginers the true purpose of rok and the first impression probably feels a lot like those classic city builder games like clash of clans and since a lot of people are rightfully a bit impatient trying out new games they miss out on how great this one is. 1. The campaign isn't really a campaign honestly its just a place to get commander sculptures, u progress there while u get stronger. Building at the start like every other similar game can be a bit tedious but honestly that's how every builder game is. A good thing rok has though is speedup tokens which are great for this problem. In other games let's be honest u never use gems to speedup stuff u save them for more important things but speedup tokens are something u naturally get constantly while playing from quests events killing barbarians basically everything. 2. I'm a full free to play I've never spent money on it and I still had a major role ill explain later. I'll go with 4 and then to 3 because on 3 I'll answer some of previous questions too. 4. I have played other civilisation builder games like clash of clans, hay day, clash of heroes, ikariam, empire four kingdoms and a few more but I've never found a game that offers what rok does which I'll get to in 3. 3. Now what really makes rok so special. First let's look at the map : The whole world of rok with every single player is divided into regions. These regions are then divided into 8 kingdoms and every kingdom is a big map where player cities are located. Also something that's very smart and helpful to begginers is that every day or two new regions and kingdoms are created meaning u won't have to deal with people who have been playing for two years but everyone is on the same level since u can't really attack someone from a different kingdom since they're on a different map. Kingdoms are also divided in zones but those slowly open while the time line progresses. Something that makes this so special is that when u zoom out of ur city u see the map, u see other cities, if u put ur troops outside other players see them and u can control them where they go, u can fight other people u can attack their troops. Its hard to explain and I may not have done that very well but the point is how freedom the game gives u in that sense. This something not a lot of games have and even those don't have it as well. If u know empire four kingdoms, it's an older game. There was an open map but u could never move ur troops like this with that much detail. This is one of the 2 reasons rok is so special and it connects with the second one which is the biggest one. Alliances. In this game the true purpose is joining an alliance. I was leader of a top 10 alliance in my kingdom and I can tell u I've never felt like this with a game before. It feels like controlling a country. There is territory, wars for resources, territory, holy sites and passes, there is diplomacy, alliances(meaning between alliances) non agression pacts, families(which is basically a group of allied alliances). There is so much detail. U also have to organise ur alliance, imagine controlling starting with 50 (which the max member cap in the start of the alliance) , reaching up to more than 100 members who u have to make sure are all active and contributing to the alliance. There are also the ranks in an alliance which allows u to have up to 8 officers who have almost the same permissions as u and help u with controlling ur alliance and keeping up with everything. Then u have to make sure that enough people are online for wars and events and have to make announcements there is literally so much u can do, it is insane. Which led me as leader to having a ton of responsibility and having to devote a lot of time. This wore me out and I've recently quit since I got too tired of it. I'm happy though that my alliance is still doing great as it didn't end when I quit, I simply made one of my most trusted and capable officers leader. All of this is from a leaders perspective though. I probably made look extremely exhausting but as a member it is quite different. U have time to relax and grow ur city. U connect with other people in alliance chat and make great friends, u make sure to contribute to the alliance by donating resources to alliance research and other stuff. U fight wars with ur allies, u compete in events. Rok is the defenition of simple but with a lot of depth. I could keep on writing for hours but I simply can't explain everything that is so great and unique about this game. There are still a lot of things to explore like KvK(kingdom vs kingdom where each kingdom has to unite to fight the other ones), ark of osiris (which is basically a place where alliances compete with other ones), kingdom timeline (whenever a new kingdom is created there is timeline of events and stuff and there are many details about how the game unfolds), player immigration where u move In-between kingdoms. What I'm trying to say is there are many more things I didn't cover. In conclusion, rok is a truly unique game that although some of its disadvantages can offer a great and special experience. U make great friends with whom u go through great adventures. This is a bit long but I've had a lot to say about one of my favourite mobile games. Also thanks for giving me a chance to express my thoughts, I hope this was helpful, if u have any more questions I'd be happy to answer them.

The fact Death Company is more terrifying, more savage, more brutal, all around way more intimidating then the Death Division is both suprising and sad. Seriously the Death Company’s goal is to see red and kill everything with a heart beat.

I’m a WW2 nerd, I always point out mistakes or just flat out lies that they tell . Some people do ads with just a script and nothing else so half the time they have no idea what they’re talking about and how to pronounce words
I’m a bit disappointed in Lilith, Warpath used to have these amazing ads with actors and amazing CGI, now the ads are all dumb and misleading, it’s quite crappy.
I hate how they can make those beyond realistic ads, but barely can make the game graphics half as good as the ad’s ones.

@D.R actually there are several good ones if you want to look at them. My favorites have been Rusted Warfare, Radio Commander, and January Uprising

Until the logo at the end of the ad I thought it would be for Enlisted or Post Scriptum or something, since it fits those games much better.

Update on my war path ads, they’ve made hundreds of ads which just are just plain and stupid or just straight sexual, and their ads are like “WhO eVeRy HaS tHe MoSt PoWeR cAn HaVe SeX wItH mE” or makes tanks/planes that are straight strange and won’t work like a Pershing hull and a Sherman turret which has rocket launchers on it which is covered in sandbags and has floats as well

Ive been playing Warpath for 2 years now and got alot to say about this. If you played Mobile Strike (I havent) than you will find Warpath boring since you already played something similar to it. Me in the other hand loved it since this is an new type of game I have never played before. Warpath used to call Ravens the Germans once but since they basically calling Germans the bad guys and putting back Nazi Germany and there are alot of Germans playing Warpath it gets bad reviews of it and gets hated on. So they had to call it "Ravens". You can avoid whales by joining weaker alliances. You will rarely encounter them. Me as an f2p is in an whale alliance for p2s benefits since they help me alot and I get patriot gifts whenever someone in my alliance buys something with real money. (Good rewards) or using the new update to migrate to an earlier server, Also you got your base destroyed at 145k power? Damn those people in your server are either too desperate for kills or they just toxic. Normally you dont kill weaklings like 145k power. I would say an good power to kill is 20M+ because they give you good rank units so you can flex people with. If you flex rank 1-4 kills you will get laughed at lol
I didn’t have such a bad experience. But I admit, I think they truly go to the dark side when they introduce the Air Force- then you will have to coin hard to have a decent Air Force day 1. Love the game, I do, but I see it coming.
Dang, I played Mafia City when that was being a meme and it looks like it played EXACTLY how Mobile Strike played, except it was fun to crap and meme on the game in the world chat.
Company of Heroes definitely looks like the kind of game this one is trying to pass itself of as gameplay-wise.

Tbh as soon as I saw it was for mobile, I knew exactly what the gameplay would be like
It is the best build a base game I have played. Treat it like an instant messenger, except you can always kill the top players. There is alot of coordination with your alliance, when you attack.The point is to swarm the top players in an enemy alliance, so they can't attack for the next couple of hours.

To be fair, it’s been a year since the game started. To me it’s way more fun and entertaining providing a better experience for people like me who don’t want to spend money on different game items. Sure there still is those whales who spend millions of dollars on this game, but it allows players who don’t want to pay-to-win play.
I still enjoy games like this because I ALWAYS find a way to get high level and good without spending a cent

If you've seen clash of clans... Late game stuff take a week MINIMUM and uses your WHOLE storage worth of resources for a single bomb trap. Lilith games are way better in terms of f2p availability. In afk arena the highest campaign stage is taken by a p2w but second place is a f2p

Half of what I watch on RUclips is WW2 and scale modeling content, so you can imagine how many ads I get about this game. Finally caved and downloaded it yesterday, the cartoonishness and "Raven" just put me off and I deleted it after 15 min. Despite the shitty ads AFK Arena is pretty fun though, I've been playing it for close to 2 years now and spent a total of maybe 20 bucks. You can never keep up with the whales in PvP, but every other aspect of the game is very F2P friendly.
I hate some of the ads from this game since they get the tanks wrong and call a panzer 4 f2 a tiger… I mean if your gonna call it historically accurate at least get the names right.
My buddies and I have been playing for a while now and we’re having fun! Though it’s a Royale pain to upgrade buildings and especially researching but my power is about 2.75mil with only spending a buck on the game. Would recommend with friends and a active alliance.
As a former RoK player, is it better than RoK or just basically the same but with more modern unit etc

I reached around 15 million power and owned quite alot of Commanders but the pay2win mechanics plus the graphics are too high that my phone cant handle it resulted me in deleting the game
So i saw the ad for Warpath and its made by lilith games so i thought why not i try it,and to my surprise is actually preety good.Im sure theres some pay2win mechanics hidden in the game but my phone runs smoothly on it and it's basically ROK but WW2 style
But i do miss my time playing ROK tho

I just joined an alliance, and destroyed three bases that were near me.
I've played rise of kingdoms for quite some time and after watching this review warpath is very similar. They might get a bad rap cause of the ads but they're great games. Rise of kingdoms got me hooked playing for all day and night. It's genuinely one of the best mobile games ever. At least it has the potential to be. The biggest problem is that they're pay to win. Sure u can still succeed as free to play but there's no way u can compete with those players in events or even war. There's even a term for Big spenders which is whales and every alliance ries to have a few.

1. What to you makes it fun? Currently struggling to find it fun when there's so little "game". I've only played 14 levels of the campaign so far but each level has literally just been select every troop then move them to enemy and wait. And the main game is just level up this building to level up this building to level up this building to level up this other building.

@@PurpleStreak Well for starters it's important to state that rok (rise of kingdoms) is very different from clash of clans and other similar games and I'll explain why in a bit. Although it may look like it, its way deeper.
Before I get to why rok is so great I also have to state some negatives :
Pay to win. although u can still have a lot of fun and have a big role in the game the reality is there are some things u just can't compete with pay to win players. That is power. For example in events its almost impossible for a free to play to win however like I said if ur active in the game u can still reach decent power.
Time requirement. Being successful in rok means u have to devote some time to it. U can't stop playing and come back a week later since the kingdom has a steady timeline and ull fall back with other players. However this is mostly true for the start as in late game things sort of slow down a bit.
Begginer knowledge. I feel like it's hard for begginers the true purpose of rok and the first impression probably feels a lot like those classic city builder games like clash of clans and since a lot of people are rightfully a bit impatient trying out new games they miss out on how great this one is.
1. The campaign isn't really a campaign honestly its just a place to get commander sculptures, u progress there while u get stronger. Building at the start like every other similar game can be a bit tedious but honestly that's how every builder game is. A good thing rok has though is speedup tokens which are great for this problem. In other games let's be honest u never use gems to speedup stuff u save them for more important things but speedup tokens are something u naturally get constantly while playing from quests events killing barbarians basically everything.
2. I'm a full free to play I've never spent money on it and I still had a major role ill explain later.
I'll go with 4 and then to 3 because on 3 I'll answer some of previous questions too.
4. I have played other civilisation builder games like clash of clans, hay day, clash of heroes, ikariam, empire four kingdoms and a few more but I've never found a game that offers what rok does which I'll get to in 3.
3. Now what really makes rok so special. First let's look at the map :
The whole world of rok with every single player is divided into regions. These regions are then divided into 8 kingdoms and every kingdom is a big map where player cities are located. Also something that's very smart and helpful to begginers is that every day or two new regions and kingdoms are created meaning u won't have to deal with people who have been playing for two years but everyone is on the same level since u can't really attack someone from a different kingdom since they're on a different map. Kingdoms are also divided in zones but those slowly open while the time line progresses. Something that makes this so special is that when u zoom out of ur city u see the map, u see other cities, if u put ur troops outside other players see them and u can control them where they go, u can fight other people u can attack their troops. Its hard to explain and I may not have done that very well but the point is how freedom the game gives u in that sense. This something not a lot of games have and even those don't have it as well. If u know empire four kingdoms, it's an older game. There was an open map but u could never move ur troops like this with that much detail. This is one of the 2 reasons rok is so special and it connects with the second one which is the biggest one. Alliances. In this game the true purpose is joining an alliance. I was leader of a top 10 alliance in my kingdom and I can tell u I've never felt like this with a game before. It feels like controlling a country. There is territory, wars for resources, territory, holy sites and passes, there is diplomacy, alliances(meaning between alliances) non agression pacts, families(which is basically a group of allied alliances). There is so much detail. U also have to organise ur alliance, imagine controlling starting with 50 (which the max member cap in the start of the alliance) , reaching up to more than 100 members who u have to make sure are all active and contributing to the alliance. There are also the ranks in an alliance which allows u to have up to 8 officers who have almost the same permissions as u and help u with controlling ur alliance and keeping up with everything. Then u have to make sure that enough people are online for wars and events and have to make announcements there is literally so much u can do, it is insane. Which led me as leader to having a ton of responsibility and having to devote a lot of time. This wore me out and I've recently quit since I got too tired of it. I'm happy though that my alliance is still doing great as it didn't end when I quit, I simply made one of my most trusted and capable officers leader. All of this is from a leaders perspective though. I probably made look extremely exhausting but as a member it is quite different. U have time to relax and grow ur city. U connect with other people in alliance chat and make great friends, u make sure to contribute to the alliance by donating resources to alliance research and other stuff. U fight wars with ur allies, u compete in events.
Rok is the defenition of simple but with a lot of depth.
I could keep on writing for hours but I simply can't explain everything that is so great and unique about this game. There are still a lot of things to explore like KvK(kingdom vs kingdom where each kingdom has to unite to fight the other ones), ark of osiris (which is basically a place where alliances compete with other ones), kingdom timeline (whenever a new kingdom is created there is timeline of events and stuff and there are many details about how the game unfolds), player immigration where u move In-between kingdoms. What I'm trying to say is there are many more things I didn't cover.
In conclusion, rok is a truly unique game that although some of its disadvantages can offer a great and special experience. U make great friends with whom u go through great adventures.
This is a bit long but I've had a lot to say about one of my favourite mobile games.

The fact Death Company is more terrifying, more savage, more brutal, all around way more intimidating then the Death Division is both suprising and sad. Seriously the Death Company’s goal is to see red and kill everything with a heart beat.

I’m a WW2 nerd, I always point out mistakes or just flat out lies that they tell . Some people do ads with just a script and nothing else so half the time they have no idea what they’re talking about and how to pronounce words
What really grinds my gears is how they depict rocket artillery to be a short range weapon and how they get locations hilariously wrong
I remember them calling a Tiger “Panzer IV” in a ad.
I’m a bit disappointed in Lilith, Warpath used to have these amazing ads with actors and amazing CGI, now the ads are all dumb and misleading, it’s quite crappy.
