No it's actually the reverse. Feudalism was based on Mount and Blade. Feudalism was technically released before M&B but M&B was in development since 2004 and was in early access with much of the mechanics it would become known for before having its full release in 2008.
I HAVE FOUND IT. My god, this was SUCH a great game...
I love feudalism 2 but the A.I blatantly cheats after a few hours.
I finished this game when I was a kid. Now I know why I love Mount and Blade series.

This has been a big part of my childhood and got hooked into this game during my early grade school days and was my first taste of strategy games, and later on fell inlove in history (my most hated subject before) and games like Rome Total War. Thanks for uploading this, I've been looking for this for years after I forgot the title for almost 20 years!

The father no not really its the child mount and blade started development early 2004 and it had an alpha early mid 2007 so then feudalism started beeing made on the basis of the said alpha wich was the released a year before mount and blade so its even a pre release child weird but well it is what it is

My favorite build is maxed out Katana and throwing weapons. I used the Eclipse +10 with Occult Rune and Greek Fire +10 with Occult Rune.

Warlords had fantastic music, both Heroes and Call to Arms
Everyone knows the top tier strat was to be the East Empire woman, max out staffs, then put everything into dex and now you're nigh impossible to hit

It's funny how I recognize most buildings from this game as simplified recreation of various buildings from Cossacks: European Wars. Vitaly here was a fan, it seems :D

This game seems very inspired by Konung 2, which is an old Russian RPG. Of course there are differences in gameplay and graphics, but the core of the gameplay is there.
