Hi Bern, Once Thor was 'lifted' three inches, was there no additional wobbling when on the highway at speed? I was watching some videos from a Colorado group who lifted an XC70 4 inches (I think) and they said that they noticed wobbling when at highway speeds. Keep up the good work. Kudos to your trusty cameraperson!!! ~~ and now I see that you are looking at the Lexus 470 (needs to go look at your newer vids). Last question is, does Lexus test for rollover and crash survivability like VOLVO does? I am personally sold on the safety of the Volvo Boron Steel (look that up!!)
Hey! Yeah unfortunately he did have quite a bit of wobble on the highway. I wasn’t too thrilled about that, even after having the tires balanced a few times! Lexus isn’t as rigorous in terms of testing themselves but the GX and LX have solid rollover ratings with side curtain air bags! They’re both pretty safe trucks Thanks for tuning in!
I think i recall running into you and a white FJ in Greenridge a few months back. Always had a soft spot for these Volvos. Cool channel, if you ever want to review a Tundra let me know.
I’d recommend Peter’s Mill Run (near Harrisonburg). I made a video a few years ago with my Tacoma. Worth a watch! There’s also Flagpole Knob also by Harrisonburg
@@gregb8759 I considered it but I fell out of love with it and it just sat for a while until I sold it. Also! I guess I never mentioned it before but the motor blew a week after I sold it LOL
@@BernonCars after watching your video and seeing this comment and other people have there transmission go I decided not to get this car it's just terribly design to work on and the engine or transmission suck
Before anyone asks, Thor had a Magnaflow muffler on. Sounded so good! Perfect volume even on long trips..
Sure sounds sick
Actually came looking for this answer lol
Do you recall what Magnaflow you had?
@@t.barnes4452 unfortunately I don’t because I bought it with that muffler
@@BernonCars no worries, thanks for the quick response!
Love the Volvo XC90 content!!! Stay safe
Thank you! Hopefully there will be more XC content in the future even if I don’t own one!
Yo, love what you are doing. I am trying to do much the same to a 2011 XC60 R-Design. Any tips or pointers?
I think Cross Country Performance makes a kit for the XC60. Pretty straightforward install actually!
Man what a beast!
I know you sold it but do you remember the size of the tires and how much it cost for the lift?

Yup we were there! Thank you! What kind of Tundra?
Next question, Bern sir, why not try an Xc70? Lower center of gravity, shaped more like an off-road Subaru . . . Great content, keep telling us more!
I like the XC70 but I appreciate the extra room the 90 has! Thank you!
looks fun! where is this trail?
First one was at the Frederick Watershed and the other one was at Peter’s Mill Run in VA
Damn, good off road content!
I knew I had some unseen footage from somewhere! Haha
Where do you guys Offroad? I’m in nova and there’s nothing by me, any tips?

Does it have Center diff lock?
Unfortunately no, just a hydraulic pump
🥵🥵🥵1:17 is awesome! Great stuff!
Skid plates coming in handy LOL
Bern, you sold this steed, no?
Months ago!
hi what is the tire?
Nitto Ridge Grappler!
@BernonCars thanks man 👍
I thought you sold it🤔
I did! These are just some clips from the summer I found in my camera roll haha
I think you should have kept it a little while longer

Hi, what exact size and brand of tires did you use? You didn't have to cut anything when you applied this performance kit?
Hi! They are 265/60/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I had to do some trimming on the front bumper but that's it!
@@BernonCars Thank you. did you lift car it up a bit?
Very cool
Thank you!
POV: you are man running after bad man steal your car. Ha ha ha
LOL. I feel bad for the guy who bought it from you.
He takes it off road too!
Camera man needs an ebike
3 inch 😂
You are green and it shows.
Green??
