We have two XC90 in the family, together 23 years old, and the only reason is the crashworthiness. From my experience: that field day left numerous XC90s with check engine lights on 😂
@@AndreiAndrei-rt4po A year later and I attest that you speak the truth. Went off-roading recently and got the anti-skid/break-assist service required light. Surprisingly it still performed super well and got us out of a terrain that truly got me shaking in my boots. Very reliable companion.

:( HALDEX faults are hard to troubleshot. First, is the middle shaft turning? If not : angle gear. Second, is the HALDEX board communicating with VIDA? If not, can be simple as a fuse, or as bad as a toasted control board, or just a cut wiring. If the shaft turn and the board is alive, good chance is that the oil pump is dead or clogged.
Idk man. I got a 2013 and I could probably get through, but I wouldn’t try. I see some bad clearance issues. What year do you have. Maybe a s60 xc haha.
It’s still a good example if you’re trying to get to a gnarly camping spot. Most SUVs could probably get through, but it’s good to know volvos can too.

Well they're stock family volvos. So in the end it's just cars and coffee. But allover xc90's are awesome 👌

Uh oh, somebody needs a new transfer case. My 2000 xc70 had the same issue.
