I reset mine it worked good I was never asked anything about oil grade though. It’s on a 2014 Mercedez GLK350.

Oil grade is for the diesel engines. It needs a specific grade for the emissions systems

what is the difference between oil grade 229.5 and 229.3 ?

it doesn't matter, there both MB approved, but depending on your driving style, service interval may differ between the 2
