    To the commenter who mentioned IBS related to anxiety. I, too, have anxiety. I tried the wrist massage technique and I immediately felt calmer. I also checked my smart watch to see how calm my heart rate was, and it showed my heart rate calming down. So yes, from a fellow anxiety sufferer, this does work! Good luck! I hope my experience / explanation helped you some. You got this, and remember your anxiety experiences are valid! Hang in there!
